The United States is the melting pot of fashion, but there are 10 gorgeous dress styles from other countries that haven’t made it to our runways, department stores, and shopping bags ... yet!
1 of 10 The Lehenga (India)
A lehenga is essentially an ornate, embroidered, cropped blouse that is paired with a voluminous matching skirt. Lehengas are worn for special occasions, and they are one of the most popular bridal styles in India. It would be so easy to incorporate this great style into our current fashion because we already have crop tops and skirts in the U.S. We’d just have to embellish them and make the skirts a little more full, and we’d have some stunning formal outfits!
