55 Spring Fashion Trends Blooming Right Now

Twee

Twee

Twee will be in this year. Think Zooey Deschanel and maybe a touch of Wednesday Addams, and you’ll pretty much have the twee look down. Twee provides a dainty or quaint look that really looks sweet or somewhat childlike. It was an exceedingly popular style in the ‘50s and ‘60s.

If you like vintage styles, twee will be the way to go. A twee look will tell the world you are cute and quirky if that’s what you are looking for – but without it coming off in a totally disingenuous way. There are a lot of twee options these days and you’ll likely find plenty of ideas on the streets.

Granny Chic

Granny Chic

The Granny chic look is totally in right now, but you have to do it the right way. Use no restraint. The granny chic aesthetic is defined by geometric patterns with typically a crochet look and lots of color. The crazier it looks, the better. Colorful crochet patterns can be both kitschy and fun.

The winter getting colder and colder, so keeping warm is essential right now. Crotchet granny chic attire will assist you in this manner. Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean to you have to stick to muted or drab colors. You can brighten up your look and really make a statement.

Leather

Leather

Leather is indeed making a comeback in the fashion world this spring. From leather jackets to skirts, dresses, and pants, the trend has taken over the runways and is now becoming more popular among fashion enthusiasts. One of the reasons for this resurgence is the versatility and durability of leather. It can be dressed up or down, making it suitable for various occasions. Additionally, leather is timeless, and with proper care, it can last for years.

Another reason is the sustainability aspect of leather. With a growing concern for the environment, consumers are leaving polyester behind... even though animal rights activists don't agree. For a classic and sophisticated look, a leather jacket paired with a simple white tee and jeans is a go-to outfit. Leather skirts or dresses, on the other hand, can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sneakers or flats.

Oversized Sunglasses

Oversized Sunglasses

Out with those little micro-sunglasses and in with the oversized styles! Round and rectangular frames on top of the classic cat-eye shape are much safer and more comfortable options for your eyes. We love classic sunglasses with a metal frame, but nothing is stopping you from adding a little extra oomph with thick plastic frames to pair with your '70s-inspired fits.

Not only do these sunglasses look classier than tiny frames, but they typically complement your eye shape in ways you may have never noticed. For instance, the cat-eye shape is more than a pretty face. Because the frames point up and out following the curve of your cheekbones, they typically give the wearer a subtle facelift. On top of this, the larger lenses provide much greater protection for your eyes.

Maxi Dresses

Maxi Dresses

The maxi dress is a springtime staple because it will keep you easy, breezy, and lookin' good during the boiling summer months. Opt for a bold maxi in a fun print to add some life to your wardrobe and pair it with some strappy sandals, a chain bracelet, and a wide-brim hat for a look that’s totally on-trend.

We'll let you in on a secret: maxi dresses look good on everyone. Yes. Everyone. Even you. We don't care that you want to argue; we're right. They come in so many flattering silhouettes for a variety of body types plus plenty of trendy color palettes. Even if dresses have been your arch-nemesis since childhood, try giving the maxi a shot.

Stripes

Stripes

Stripes will be in this year but not just any stripes. This year, it’s all about color. Minimalism is so last year and making colorful statements is what most people will be trying to achieve. Whether on a button-up blouse, a vibrant dress or a knitted sweater, colorful stripes of all kinds will be in.

It’s important to choose the right stripes for you and the look you are going for. If you want to look taller or thinner, choose vertical stripes with your look. If you’re tall already, you may want to consider horizontal stripes or even diagonal stripes. But there’s a lot of ways to go with stripes.

Block Platform Heels

Block Platform Heels

Tiny stilettos that make you feel like you're walking on a tightrope aren't the top trend for this season, thank goodness! Trade those death contraptions for sturdy block heels that have all the leg-lengthening benefits without the fear of toppling over. Trust us, your ankles will thank you big time.

These heels are wide enough to keep you upright yet aren't so bulky that you feel like a giant stomping around. These typically are open-toed with a strap around the ankle for extra support; plus, they come in a variety of natural tones and fabrics for any occasion. Transitioning from the office to the bar has never been easier!

Vests

Vests

Vests, also known as waistcoats, will be in this year. They are ideal for the office, where things might be a little chilly at times but not too warm if the heat is turned on. Vests can provide a cleaner and classier touch to your look. The tailored look can work for a party or in a professional environment.

There’s also a wide variety of vests to choose from, so you don’t have to completely change your look to make one work. If you have woodsy look about you, you can always find a Sherpa vest to put over that flannel shirt. If you are looking for something casual, you can try denim. Or, for an office look, suit up with something more formal.

Crossbody Bags

Crossbody Bags

For a more sophisticated accessory, opt into the crossbody trend. Smaller crossbody bags might not allow you to tote around everything you could possibly need, but they're perfect for the minimalist aesthetic. Pair with a blazer, block heels, and bold sunglasses for a professional look you can easily wear all day long.

The best thing about these bags is how little space they take up anywhere you go. Many museums, galleries, and thrift shops don't allow you to swing around your gargantuan Louis Vuitton tote throughout the establishment because they're honestly a safety hazard if not carried properly. Little crossbody bags are versatile, portable, and subtle additions to your wardrobe!

Chic Sweatsuits

Chic Sweatsuits

Sweatsuits are wonderful because they're the ultimate stay-at-home outfit if you want to be a couch potato and still feel like you're being productive. We all know that when our tops and bottoms match, we instantly feel 50% more put together. And for more of a chic streetwear look, pair your sweats with trendy sneakers and a pair of bright statement earrings.

But we all know we'll be dressing down for a while, so just stick to slippers if you want. No shame. And nobody will know that you've been wearing your sweatsuit for three days straight if all they can see is your neck up on a Zoom call. Better to invest in some new hair accessories to keep your co-workers off your trail.

Cargo Pants

Cargo Pants

Cargo pants are characterized by their multiple pockets and utilitarian design, originally worn by soldiers and workers for practical purposes. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the growing interest in functional and comfortable clothing. With the rise of athleisure wear and work-from-home styles, people are seeking clothing that is both practical and stylish. Cargo pants offer the perfect blend of functionality and fashion, making them a popular choice.

Cargo pants are super versatile and can be dressed up or down, making them suitable for various occasions. For a casual look, cargo pants can be paired with a simple tee or sweater and sneakers. For a more polished look, they can be paired with a blouse or blazer and heels. Cargo pants come in various styles, from loose and baggy to fitted and tapered. Some designs feature cropped lengths, adding a modern and trendy touch.

Chunky Heels

Chunky Heels

Chunky heels are making quite a splash this season because they look effortlessly sophisticated despite taking maximum effort to put them on. Wear your chunky heels with a midi skirt and a cardigan if you’re going on a brunch date, or pair them with cropped jeans, a v-neck, and a ponytail for a casual day in town.

Chunky heels are a statement piece in themselves, so there's no real need to buy multiple pairs unless they're your favorite shoe. However, this style tends to be available in a variety of colors and are usually not too pricey depending on where you buy them from, so you can go for a pair that's a perfect match for your outfit.

Floral Prints

Floral Prints

Floral prints continue to reign supreme in the fashion world -- as they do every spring -- and what better way to wear them than in the form of a fun dress? Sundresses and flowy skirts are the height of spring fashion, and you'd be hard-pressed to see anyone without a floral piece in their wardrobe.

The floral print makes enough of a statement, so you can go easy on the accessories and wear a pair of square-toed shoes and pearl studs for a look that’s put-together and simple. And get that image of your grandma's ancient floral wallpaper out of your head! We're aiming for subtle and sexy florals, not gaudy and gross.

Slip Dresses

Slip Dresses

Slip dresses are coming back.  Again. what first started out as a late 20th-century undergarment, slips have made it out into the big world all on their own. They were huge in the ‘90s as well but refused to be a one-hit-wonder. Whether it’s celebs or on the runway, the silky dresses can be seen everywhere.

These dresses are notorious for baring it all, so there are alternative ways to wear the trend while displaying yourself modestly. For one, you can choose a different fabric for more of a sun-dress, beachy look. If you're attached to the silky fabric, pair it with an oversized jean jacket for a casual look that'll protect you from the chill.

Y2k Denim

Y2k Denim

Is denim in or out this year? It's hard to say because it seems like this fabric is either loved or hated. We're never going to sit here and recommend "jorts" as the top trend of the season, but don't write of denim entirely just yet. Apparently, boyfriend jackets are in like Flynn.

The best part is that they’re comfy, warm, and can be worn with a dress or pants. Well, they can be worn with anything really, which is why jeans became a wardrobe staple in the first place. Some people hate the Canadian tux, but young Zoomers are bringing back the denim-on-denim look back into fashion... The times are changing!

Neutral Animal Print

Neutral Animal Print

Head-to-toe animal print may be out, but neutral animal prints are in. These are prints that are lighter than your classic orange leopard print, so they give you a bit more freedom to add other shades into your outfit. Neutral animal print looks especially as a shirt paired with black pants and strappy sandals.

Any animal print should always be used sparingly; otherwise, you might end up looking more like a cow than you ever intended to. Yeah, not exactly the most desirable look... The way to spark envy with animal print is through selective styling. If you're wearing a little black dress, throw on some cheetah-print heels to make a statement.

Sorbet Pastels

Sorbet Pastels

Nothing says "new year, new me" more than pastels. Pastels have gotten a bad rap within the past decade as the Kardashians and their neutrals imposed themselves across social media. We're not trying to knock them, but we know everyone's desperate for color to make a comeback and to brighten up their lives a smidge.

Guess what? Pastels are back, baby! This time in the muted "sorbet" tones, which makes this season the right time to wear subtle blues, greens, and purples. This year, it doesn’t matter if you go with one piece or a full outfit of color. It’s all about color to brighten up the sunnier months!

Business Casual

Business Casual

It may sound boring, but you’d be surprised at how business casual is becoming an office norm. After nearly a year of remote work, dressing up in a professional suit is either the best thing ever or something you never want to do again, but everyone's realizing the perks of comfy pants.

Luckily, business casual merges laissez-faire and professional wear, and we bet your workplace is already writing it into the dress code. Business casual is different from both "business professional" and "casual" because it blends the worst parts of each category together. No, you won't get away with sweatpants in the office, but you can wear your favorite blouse without the restricting pencil skirt.

(Image via Pexels)

Mesh

Mesh

Don't lose faith now! Mech is actually super comfy and perfect for warm spring days. Mesh isn't just your ordinary fabric; it's lightweight and lets your skin breathe, keeping you cool and chic all at once. Especially when worn as tops, mesh adds a hint of sass to any outfit, whether you're chilling out or hitting the town.

Plus, you can mix and match them with anything! From sporty vibes to glam looks, mesh is the way to go. So, why stick to the basics when you can level up with mesh? Get creative with your style and don't be afraid to look up outfit inspiration. Springtime just got a whole lot cooler!

Tortoise Accessories

Tortoise Accessories

Tortoise designs have been making the rounds on jewelry racks for a minute, but it’s coming back this spring with a vengeance. Tortoise jewelry always looks paired with neutrals, but don't be afraid to throw on bright colors with it! You can even mix patterns with this type of jewelry or put on some tortoise eyeglass frames to complete a look.

Pattern mixing is a controversial trend, to say the least, but when it's done well, it's done well. We recommend sneaking a peak at Japan's streetwear industry. They really know how to dress in Tokyo, and they aren't afraid to mix and match patterns. It takes serious confidence to rock new trends without a second thought.

Wearable Slippers

Wearable Slippers

If strappy heels aren’t your idea of a casual look, Uggs, Coach, and other top brands are releasing their versions of house slippers that have become an everyday shoe. Because the sun is beginning to peek out, soak up as much Vitamin D as you can while the weather is still cool.

Platform fuzzy shoes are extremely popular, which is great because they’re so comfortable. Literally, anyone should can get behind this trend... there's no reason not to! You will realize that you've never actually been relaxed when you try on Uggs slippers for the first time. Paired with fuzzy socks, you're walking on clouds!

Oversized Blazers

Oversized Blazers

Blazers are incredibly convenient for office wear and evenings out alike, but the old styles are in need of a refresh. You can update your old one by going up a size or two to resemble runway styles. They can look pretty odd without proper styling, so only wear what you're comfortable with. But the bigger, the better, right?

Hailey Bieber's blazer -- as seen in the picture below -- takes the oversized trend to the extreme, but as an international supermodel, she obviously pulls it off with ease. As for the rest of us normal people, try going around two sizes up for a look that's on-trend yet doesn't threaten to swallow you whole.

Green Statement Pieces

Green Statement Pieces

Along with sorbet pastels, blue statement pieces are hugely popular among fashion bloggers. It’s all about saturation. The runways are showing off large royal blue handbags, dresses, hats, and everything in between. You can don a bright blue necklace and match the rest of your outfit accordingly for the monochromatic look!

We believe that this trend is hinged on contrast. Because spring and summer and typically defined by warm, earthy color palettes and neutral tones, throwing on a vibrant blue piece sets you apart from the crowd. Plus, pairing blue with opposing colors creates a beautifully dimensional outfit that traditional neutrals can only dream about.

Lacy Blouses

Lacy Blouses

Lacy blouses can be worn for special occasions, but we say you can wear them whenever you want. Don't worry about feeling stressed or overdressed because we guarantee you'll be the best-dressed gal at the potluck. And don't you always want to look (and more importantly, feel) your best?

Dress them down with a pair of jeans or up with a pair of slacks. We especially love the trend of off-white or cream-colored lace. What makes lacy blouses so beautiful is their timelessness. Lace has indicated wealth and master craftmanship for centuries, so throwing some on for a casual spring afternoon is a major serve.

XL Totes

XL Totes

XL tote bags were huge in the '90s and 2000s, and they're coming back, baby! This style is characterized by bags that are larger than the typical tote bag, offering more space for storage and a bold, statement-making look. With many people carrying more items with them than ever before, extra large tote bags provide a convenient way to store everything from laptops and notebooks to gym clothes and snacks. Additionally, these bags are ideal for travel or weekend getaways, providing ample space for all the essentials.

Teeny-tiny bags were in style for a few years, so it's obvious why women grew tired of the trend and wanted their big bags back! Extra large tote bags are often designed with added features like multiple pockets, zippers, and compartments, making them even more functional and convenient. They can be worn over the shoulder or carried by hand, allowing for a range of options in terms of comfort and style.

Wrap Dresses

Wrap Dresses

Wrap dresses are the easy, breezy option for late spring and early summer. They’re cozy, cute, and accentuate your natural curves in a way that few outfits can. Certain silhouettes are rarely one-size-fits-all, but this style is literally made for frequent adjustments. Putting on or losing a few pounds isn't going to disqualify this piece from your closet.

If it’s still a little chilly where you live, you can even wear a wrap dress as a light cardigan! As we said, they're typically thin and breezy, so they work as bathing suit cover-ups as well. Feel free to experiment because there's no way we could possibly list all the ways wrap dresses can be worn in two paragraphs.

Tapestry Coats

Tapestry Coats

Tapestry coats are some of the leading styles of the year as winter wanes into spring. Naturally, they’re stylish, but they’re also convenient if you need a patterned piece to balance out a neutral-heavy outfit. Pair on top of waist-defining bottoms to balance your silhouette and leave a little to the imagination.

We can all think of a friend we have who has a piece of clothing that defines them. Like, they wear it all the time and if they suddenly got rid of it, you'd think they were an entirely different person. Tapestry coats can be that piece of clothing for you because they're such a statement piece. It doesn't matter what you're wearing underneath, really, as long as you rock it on the outside!

Stylish Belts

Stylish Belts

Belts are perfect if you don’t want to wait for a tailor to alter your clothes or if you merely want some added flair for an outfit. They can help accentuate your waist when wearing a shapeless dress and keep your clothes in place if they're a tad too big. Stylish belts can also be worn with jeans even if they don’t fit in the loops!

You might be surprised at how versatile belts can be. The typical businessman look calls for a black leather belt that's subtle and unimposing. Not all of us work in the business sector, which calls for more stylish belts. From shoestrings to metal rings, belts can work with any aesthetic to complete your outfit while keeping your pants up!

Jumpsuits and Rompers

Jumpsuits and Rompers

Jumpsuits are all the rage this season because they’re chic, easy to style, and appropriate for all occasions. If you want to wear a jumpsuit to the office, choose one in a neutral color with a modest neckline and a loose silhouette, and add a pair of pumps and some simple earrings.

For going out on the town, pick any color jumpsuit that has chic cutouts or an open back, then add a statement necklace and a pair of pumps. But if it's just too hot outside for the full-coverage look, cutesy rompers are making a major comeback!

(Image via Pexels)

Chunky Sweaters

Chunky Sweaters

Because cold weather is in the past, heavy coats should be moved to the back of the closet (except for that tapestry coat for the particularly chilly days). Instead, give your chunky sweaters prime closet space. These pieces are warm enough for the spring without making you feel stuffy underneath.

Although, we still suggest dressing in thin layers because spring mornings are notoriously cold yet warm up significantly throughout the afternoon. Also, chunky sweaters are the lazy girl's go-to spring staple because it does all the work for you. Merely throw on a pair of light-wash mom jeans and a neutral purse for a stylish outfit.

Lace Details

Lace Details

This style is defined by the use of delicate lace fabric or lace-like designs on clothing items and accessories. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the feminine and romantic look that lace details add to an outfit. Lace fabric is often associated with vintage and classic styles, which are becoming increasingly popular in the fashion world. Additionally, lace fabric adds a delicate and intricate texture to an outfit, which can elevate even the simplest clothing items.

Lace can be used in a range of clothing items, from dresses and blouses to skirts and shorts. Lace details can also be incorporated into accessories like bags, shoes, and jewelry, adding a subtle and elegant touch to any outfit. Plus, they can be combined with other materials, like denim or leather, for a contrasting and unique look.

Backless

Backless

Strategic cutouts are the epitome of trendy, so you need at least one backless dress in your closet, but don't go too crazy just in case the fad dies down. You can wear these statement pieces to the office with a blazer on top to easily transition to a night look or merely to live your best life at the grocery store.

Wear your hair up in a sleek bun that can be adjusted into a messy updo for the evening. This allows you to maintain a respectable level of professionalism without covering the obvious cutout highlighting your back. And to really make a statement, accessorize with your favorite hoop earrings and matching handbag.

Shades of Purple

Shades of Purple

Purple is versatile and can range from pale lavender to deep violet, making it a popular choice for a range of clothing items and accessories. After a year of muted and neutral tones dominating the fashion world, people are looking for ways to add more color to their wardrobes. Purple is a great choice for this because it is a statement-making color without being too overpowering.

Plus, purple pairs well with a range of colors, including neutral shades like beige and gray, as well as more vibrant hues like pink and yellow, which can be mixed and matched with other pieces to create a range of stylish outfits. Purple also adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to an outfit. It is a color that is often associated with royalty and luxury, which can elevate even the simplest clothing items.

Micro Miniskirts

Micro Miniskirts

Have you seen a micro miniskirt this year? If not, they’re on their way. Micro miniskirts may not quite be workplace friendly, but they’re a casual and fun look to keep you cool. Designers are populating the runway with miniskirts of a variety of fun prints that are easy to pair with any neutral style or color scheme.

Worn by the likes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, micro miniskirts are quickly becoming one of the hottest trends. The style is particularly prevalent on TikTok among the fashion aficionados. For Spring, even designer brands like Dior, Versace, and Fendi are jumping on this trend in their fashion lineups.

Tulle

Tulle

Tulle is characterized by its lightweight and sheer texture, which creates a soft and romantic look when used in clothing items and accessories. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the growing interest in feminine and romantic styles. Tulle fabric is often associated with ballet-inspired styles and princess-like dresses, which are becoming increasingly popular in the fashion world. Additionally, tulle fabric adds a delicate and airy texture to an outfit, which can create a whimsical and dreamy look.

Plus, tulle can be used in a range of clothing items, from skirts and dresses to accessories like bags, shoes, and jewelry. Tulle fabric comes in various colors, from classic white and black to more vibrant hues like pink, purple, and blue. It can be used as a standalone feature or combined with other materials, like lace or sequins, for a contrasting and unique look.

Plaid Skirtsuits

Plaid Skirtsuits

Another popular Y2K trending popping up in 2022 is the plaid skirtsuit. The plaid skirtsuit can be paired with a crop top for a casual look, or a variety of different plaid pieces or any singular statement piece. Plaid skirtsuits can be worn at the office or while you are out and about, it all depends on the style.

Brighter color plaid skirtsuits are ideal for the spring, because in the spring those colors will really shine. However, one thing you want to keep in mind is choosing between a thicker or thinner fabric. Early in the spring you may want a thicker suit while later in the spring you’ll want a thinner suit as the weather heats up.

Black and White Gingham

Black and White Gingham

Maybe it’s because of the strong patterns that are returning this year, or perhaps it’s because it’s just a refined style that we all love — either way, we’re happy to see that gingham's still going strong despite the push for neutral styles on the runway. Checkered patterns work great as a statement piece.

From wearing it as a jacket to a full-length dress to pointed shoes, red gingham can be slapped on any piece of clothing you can dream of. Just make sure to pair the bold pattern with solid colors to keep things balanced, particularly if you're not one for eclecticism.

Crochet and Knit Cardigans

Crochet and Knit Cardigans

Crochet is a high-impact style that’s as comfy as it is cute. You can great a bohemian-inspired outfit by throwing on a crocheted cardigan or shawl. Cardigans offer more versatility than sweaters thanks to the buttons—button up or leave it open! This style looks even better when you pair it with a complementary color under it for a little extra je ne sais quoi.

And that's not even the best part! Buying crocheted and knit pieces from the store is fine for some, but you'd be missing out on the opportunity to support local and small artists. Heck, you could become your own crochet supplier by simply picking up some yarn, a few needles, and watching Youtube tutorials.

Knee-High Boots

Knee-High Boots

Spring is the start of the new year in our eyes, and it’s supposed to be refreshing. With all the new life, swirling petals, and blooming trees, everyone wants to embody that same effortless innocence. And nothing says "clean and pure" like a pair of brand-spankin' new knee-high boots.

The popular style typically reaches the knee, but you can wear these boots at whatever height you prefer. As long as they don't cut you at an awkward height and instead elongate your frame, you're wearing the right pair. The best part is that with the right color, you can pair it with a dress or skirt to look instantly fashionable.

Chain Links

Chain Links

Chain links are one of the hottest trends right now. Chain links are most often worn on jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces. Smaller chains are used for pendants and charms but larger chains can become an accessory of their own, providing a unique style that works with a formal or casual look.

Chain link belts are highly popular right now. Chain link belt designs harken back to the early 21st century. The Y2K retro look has totally been trending the last couple of years and the chain link belt is one of the most notable accessories that’s still trending from 2021 into 2022.

Drop Waist Dresses

Drop Waist Dresses

The drop waist trend is indeed a popular style for spring fashion. This trend features a dress, skirt or top with a waistline that sits lower than the natural waistline, often at the hip or just above the hip. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the growing interest in vintage fashion. The drop waist style became popular in the 1920s, and as fashion trends tend to be cyclical, it's no surprise that this style is making a comeback nearly a century later.

The drop waist style can also be flattering for a range of body types. It elongates the torso and emphasizes the hips, creating an hourglass shape. Additionally, the loose and relaxed fit of the drop waist style can be comfortable and practical for everyday wear. Even better, they can be styled with sneakers or sandals for a casual daytime look, or dressed up with heels and statement jewelry for a more formal occasion.

Puff Sleeves

Puff Sleeves

Puffy sleeves are hit or miss. We’re not talking about the giant ‘80s shoulders we mentioned earlier; instead, these bold sleeves are a bit of an accent piece and shape your body more than regular straight sleeves are capable of. Puff sleeves work really well with dresses that feature a square neckline.

To get the most out of your puff sleeves, focus on balance. Puffy sleeves are inherently distracting. Allow them to take up the most attention for your outfit because throwing on a ton of other statement pieces would be too disorienting. Wear your hair in a messy updo or short bob in order to elongate your neck and give your sleeves room to breathe.

Bubblegum Pink

Bubblegum Pink

Pink has had a place in spring (and all summer long) for as long as we can remember but it's usually dominated by soft pastels and subtle shades. Not anymore! Bright bubblegum is the sophisticated spring shade that nobody expected to see this time of year, but we're not mad at it.

You can dress it up and down, depending on the occasion, and it'll definitely help you stand out from the crowd! Wear it to the office with a white blouse underneath for a professional look, then swap the blouse out for a tight crop top for a snazzy evening out on the town.

Baggy Jeans

Baggy Jeans

This denim style is characterized by its loose, relaxed fit and often features a wide leg and a high waist. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the growing interest in more comfortable and practical fashion. After a year of spending more time at home, people are looking for clothing that allows them to move around easily and comfortably. Baggy jeans provide the perfect balance of comfort and style, allowing people to look stylish while still being able to move around easily.

Baggy jeans also have a more relaxed and effortless look than skinny jeans. They provide a casual and laid-back vibe to an outfit, which is perfect for spring and summer. Overall, the baggy jeans trend is a way to add a comfortable and laid-back look to any outfit. With their versatility and relaxed vibe, it is no surprise that this trend is making a comeback in the fashion world this spring.

Stylish Flats

Stylish Flats

A comfortable, flat sole characterizes flats and often features unique design elements that make them a fashion statement. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the growing interest in comfortable and practical fashion. After a year of spending more time at home, people are looking for clothing and footwear that's professional and comfortable. Flats provide the perfect balance of both!

Flats can be worn with a range of outfits, from casual jeans and t-shirts to more formal dresses and skirts. They also come in a range of styles, from classic ballet flats to edgier designs with unique details like studs, animal prints, or metallic accents. Flats are also a great option for those who prefer not to wear heels. They can provide a similar look to heels while being more comfortable and easier to walk in.

Low Rise Waist

Low Rise Waist

Low rise jeans are indeed making a comeback in the fashion world this spring. This denim style is characterized by its waistband sitting low on the hips, often exposing the lower part of the belly. One reason for this trend's resurgence is the growing interest in 2000s fashion, which was characterized by low-rise jeans. As fashion trends tend to be cyclical, it's no surprise that this style is making a comeback after nearly two decades.

It's worth noting that low-rise jeans are not for everyone, as they can be less comfortable than high-waisted styles and may not be suitable for all body types. However, for those who feel comfortable wearing them, low-rise jeans can be a fun and stylish addition to their wardrobe this spring.

Shoulder Pads

Shoulder Pads

Recently, it’s been all about oversized pieces, and shoulder pads are the natural companion to this "big is better" fad. These infamous '80s staples give certain pieces an extra "oomph" that's typically desired for high-impact editorial photoshoots and streetwear bloggers. Now this high-fashion look has bled into department stores once again.

Modern shoulder pads don't have to look like the '80s wide-shoulder look that you can find in any (and every) Goodwill across the country. This trend also manifests as funky shoulder designs and big ruffles down the sleeve. Anything that creates a strong, masculine frame mixed with feminine patterns is what this trend's all about.

Disco

Disco

The ‘70s are coming back with year but rather than Saturday Night Fever, everyone has Daytime Fever. A look with lots of shimmer can define your year if you choose the right stuff. Like we said, fun will be what people are looking for this winter and the glitz and glam look of disco is one way to deliver that.

From metallic bomber jackets to sequined dresses, the daytime disco look is sure to capture everyone’s eye and it’s a classy way to make a statement. While it might be a little too distracting for an office setting, it’s ideal for a day of shopping or hitting the town with friends.

Fresh and Fun Fringe

Fresh and Fun Fringe

Fringe has been on the outs with fashion for quite a while, but if you couldn't already guess, it's won't be shunned for much longer. Like slip dresses and high-waisted flares, fringe applique is hopping on the retro '70s bandwagon.  Fringe bags are popping up everywhere with many of the newer bags simply sporting have small tassels rather than putting it all over.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t rock your totally decked-out fringe bag! From jackets to boots and long-sleeved shirts, fringe has officially escaped the boundaries of festival wear and emerged into the real world. You probably won't see this trend seep into the office, but your boho-obsessed cousin will definitely post an Instagram picture in her newest fringe top.

Trendy Hats

Trendy Hats

Saturated Tie-Dye

Pair your tie-dye top with flare jeans or sport a whole sweatsuit! Adding tie-die is a modern touch for any outfit with an earth-toned base that begs for a little spice. Can't know until you try!

Retail stores are pumping out tie-dye products like it's toilet paper in a pandemic (if you know, you know). However, you don't need to spend $30 on a pink-and-blue T-shirt. Spring is the perfect season for arts and crafts, so why not practice sustainability and transform your ratty white shirts into pieces of art with cheap fabric dye and some rubber bands.
