Mortdecai is a comedy, but Johnny Depp is not a comedian. He’s weird, yes, but he’s no Robin Williams or Jerry Seinfeld. The funniest thing about this movie is his mustache, but you can see that in the movie poster. There’s no need to watch the film itself.

The Emoji Movie shouldn’t have been made. It’s everything people hate about children’s movies, except doubled. As an adult, it’s clear that the “film” is just one big advertisement. Let’s hope that Hollywood takes this as a lesson and stops making crap like this.

We love Alice in Wonderland. The story, that is. This adaptation… not so much. It’s a bit too scattered. The studio tried to mash the original two Alice books together and force a giant action scene. It didn’t sit right with anybody.

Christian movies are about the cheesiest films you can find. God’s Not Dead is no different. Regardless of your religious affiliation, you can’t deny that the way this film attempts to prove God is alive is so crammed into the plot it becomes uncomfortable. The religious conversion at the end? Completely out of left field. It’s not a compelling film, and it’s not a compelling case for God.

You only have to look at the name of this film to see how we feel about it: it’s dumb. The jokes fall flat. The actors don’t work. It somehow manages to be “to dumb” to be good.

We all wanted Clash of the Titans to be a great movie. The Greek legend of Perseus is one of the oldest and most well-known stories in Western society, so it would have been great to see it brought into the modern age. After seeing the movie, we wish they hadn’t tried. People frequently criticize the sets, plot, acting, and battles… pretty much every aspect of the movie.

Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds seem to have a blast filming this movie. That’s its one redeeming factor. The premise of a Rest in Peace Department protecting our world from monsters could have made for a good movie, but the plot is about as clichéd as any movie that has no desire to last longer than a week in theaters.

What happens when Batman and Superman fight? People have been asking that question for almost a century, and director Zack Snyder attempted to answer the question. He didn’t do a very good job. Superman half-heartedly fights Batman, who brings a gun to the fight in a very un-Batman-like move. Lex Luther and Wonder Woman are randomly thrown into the film. We were all embarrassed when Batman and Superman stopped fighting because their moms have the same name.

In Jack and Jill, Adam Sandler plays Jack. He also plays Jack’s sister Jill. We get it, it’s confusing. It’s dumb. It’s definitely not worth seeing.

Michael Bay’s Transformer movies threatened to ruin the franchise we all know and love, but no movie more than The Last Knight. Its extremely scattered plot includes unneeded time travel and an evil Optimus Prime. Many people consider it the worst movie of 2017.

The Nutcracker in 3D manages to take everything we love about the classic ballerina story and leave it all behind. We’re left with weird characters in a movie with terrible CGI. It’s so bad it makes almost every “Worst Movies Ever” list.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is considered by many to be the peak of modern animated storytelling. When M. Night Shyamalan signed up to direct a live-action movie, the world couldn’t have been more excited. Then Shyamalan went and changed crucial aspects of the world and cast inexperienced actors for every. Single. Role. Now, we like to pretend this film doesn’t exist.

When you picture Frankenstein’s monster, what comes to mind? A giant, green man stitched together and zapped, to life, right? Frankenstein’s monster is supposed to be one ugly guy. Now, look at this guy. We doubt he’s what Mary Shelley had in mind when she wrote the book.

Gotti was supposed to be about infamous crime boss John Gotti and his rise in New York. That being said, the movie didn’t manage to get much right. We’re fine if films stray from fact as long as it’s entertaining, but this was not. Plus, Travolta’s acting performance is so bad that it’s distracting.

This was a remake of a movie that came out in 2002. The original wasn’t too great, and this one managed to get even worse. Critics destroyed the film in reviews. Currently, it sits at a 0% Rotten Tomatoes review, with the audience review not far behind at 13%.

This is the time to make superhero movies, but they have to be decent. Max Steel was not. People who loved Max Steel and 90s action figures may get a kick out of the film, but that’s pretty much it. We’re going to guess that this film probably killed any hope of a Max Steel movie in the future.

Eddie Murphy has made the same mistake as other aging comedians—producing the same old, formulaic comedies that entertain no one. One of the worst things about the movie it’s incredibly miscast, which is the only thing we remember about the movie. It’s the same crappy comedy we’ve seen a million times.

There’s a reason Tim and Eric is on late-night television. It’s the kind of entertainment that only a few people will enjoy. Some describe the film as “avant-garde,” but you can save yourself some time and money by watching their show on Adult Swim. It’s a lot less painful.

Let’s be honest: the first one didn’t need to be made. The second one? Even less so. Now, there’s a freaking third Human Centipede? It was gross when the first one came out, but now we’re tired of the plot We are left with one question, though; who is still paying for Human Centipede sequels?

Poor Adam Sandler. Something happened where he went from being the funniest guy in movies to…this. Pixels is devoid of anything funny and leaves you with pure cheesy clichés. The worst part was that it was insulting to the source material, which could have created a pretty good movie if someone other than Adam Sandler made it.

The ending is the most essential part of the film, so why mess it up? The finale of The Devil Inside directed you to a website where you could “learn more.” We came to the movie to “learn more.” Get outta here with that noise. The rest of the movie wasn’t too great either, by the way.

The first Grown Ups was terrible enough, but the second one takes the cake. It isn’t funny at all, and it doesn’t make much sense. However, to be fair, audiences knew what they were getting into with a current Adam Sandler movie. It won’t be insightful or good. Just silly.

Movie 43 has a bit of a funny story. We’re not sure why the film was made, but the actors and actresses all got duped into making it. Once the makers got one big name to sign on, they used it to sign on another, and then another, and then another. Finally, they had tons of A-Listers for a movie they all regretted making. It has no plot, makes no sense, and the story of the movie is much funnier than the film itself.

Green Lantern is somewhat of a joke now. The film had a bloated budget where most of it was spent on special effects. Ryan Reynolds even hates that he was in the movie, and it’s used as a joke in his most current super “hero” film, Deadpool.

What on earth is Nick Cage doing? This movie didn’t make fans or critics happy. Somehow Nicole Kidman and Ben Mendelsohn couldn’t save this movie. Probably because it was sloppily thrown together, and it only gets worse as you continue to watch it.

Why are shark movies becoming a thing? Meg reminds us of Shark Night 3D, which released in 2011. That movie was also pretty crappy. It was clear that it was slapped together in an effort for a shameless cash grab. At the end of the day, it seemingly worked—even if the film was trash. It made slightly more than the budget at the box office.

Nearly everyone hated Fantastic Four. While it wasn’t altogether horrible, the dialogue was laughable, and the plot was light-weight. Overall, it bored audiences, which is pretty sad considering the up-and-coming actors that were cast in the film.

Was this a real movie? This movie starred Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister from Game of Thrones), Geoffrey Rush, and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther). Despite that cast, it felt more like a comedy than an action flick. We’re guessing that most of the money was spent on special effects rather than the script, editing, and everything else.

This movie is made by the same guy that did Drive. That should tell you plenty, i.e., you’ll probably hate the ending. Ryan Gosling was excited to work on the film because it was such a personal piece, but at the end of the day, Only God Forgives fell flat. It lacked substance, which made it really dull to watch.

Yet another Nick Cage movie made the list of worst movies of the decade. The biggest issue of the movie was that it was advertised as a doomsday film. It was supposedly about a biblical Rapture, but audiences were given a film in which the Rapture had already happened. Talk about a bait and switch.
