5 Times We Were Jealous of Adam Levine

While Adam Levine may have gotten his start in Maroon 5, he’s managed to do a little bit of everything over the years. From TV to fashion, Levine has managed to create quite an envy-worthy life for himself. Here is a look at five moments when we just couldn’t contain our jealousy of him.

When He Was a Coach on The Voice

Some people might be content with just being a world-famous musician, but not Adam Levine. In addition to demonstrating his own vocal prowess, Levine now acts as a gatekeeper for other aspiring singers as a coach on NBC’s The Voice. Between his allegedly insane paychecks and the ability to spend his time judging other people, it sounds like a pretty sweet gig.

When He Was a Guest Star on American Horror Story

It’s not uncommon for musicians to catch the acting bug at some point in their lives, but Adam Levine took it to a whole new level when he played Leo Morrison in season two of American Horror Story. Levine’s character, who was celebrating his honeymoon in a haunted asylum (because why not?), got plenty of shirtless screen time and met his untimely end in the most delightfully brutal of fashions. What’s better than some scary fun and the opportunity to work with one of the best and most recognized casts around?

When He Started His Own Fragrance Line

Levine has been critical of celebrity fragrances in the past, but he didn’t let that stop him from developing his own. While that may be a hypocritical position to take, it hasn’t seemed to hurt his bottom line—his wildly successful line has become a profitable fixture in Macy’s department stores nationwide.

When He Founded a Record Label

There’s no denying that Adam Levine has conquered every aspect of the music world, and his crowning achievement came in 2012 when he founded 222 records. While the company is still in its infancy, Levine has managed to sign some notable figures such as Glee’s Matthew Morrison and Tony Lucca, the winner of season two of The Voice.

When He Was also a Good Person

There are no doubt speculations that Adam Levine is not the easiest person to work with, but the superstar showed his compassionate side awhile back during a meet-and-greet with a young fan with Down syndrome. Overwhelmed at the prospect of meeting his celebrity idol, the fan was shy and panicked at first. To make him feel more comfortable, Levine plopped down and chilled with him at his own level on the floor. It takes real skill and class to have a charity game that killer.
