Our Final 3 Predictions for Season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race

Season seven of the glam-tastic reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race has only just begun. However, a few of the new queens have already won our hearts and shown that they are not to be messed with. At this early stage it’s still anyone’s game, but here is a look at the contestants that we think have what it takes to make it into the final three.

Katya

From her hilariously thick and totally fake Russian accent to her Willam Belli-esque sense of style, Katya has already demonstrated that she can do it all. It’s a bit of a Drag Race rarity to see such a fishy queen with acting ability and a sense of humor, but she’s not letting her good looks stop her from delivering killer deadpan jokes and witty comebacks. Barring a major catastrophe, we’re confident that Katya will be able to strut her way into the top three.

Ginger Minj

No tea, no shade—but Ginger Minj’s fashion sensibilities are a bit too “Florida” for our tastes. That being said, Miss Minj has already proven herself to be one of the funniest queens this season, and judging from past Drag Race winners like Jinx Monsoon and Bianca Del Rio, funny trumps stylish every time. We can’t wait to see what this “overweight, asthmatic, chain smoking cross-dresser from Orlando, Florida” has in store for us.

Kandy Ho

Kandy Ho made it abundantly clear in episode one that she’s not here to make friends. After asking fellow contestant Tempest Dujour about her age within minutes of meeting her, Kandy doubled down on her age-related remarks when confronted about them during the runway competition. While she end up lip syncing for her life in the bottom two, thanks to her heinous makeup skills, girlfriend turned it out, twerked it up, and sent poor Tempest packing. It stands to be seen if this queen can do more than just throw shade and shake her butt, but she’s definitely got the drive to win.
