Honestly, we never even knew that airplanes had different color lights. But we get how having different colored lights would be helpful in figuring out which way the plane was facing.

In the nighttime or in times of bad weather when visibility is low, these lights would be absolutely necessary. There are so many things to consider about physically flying a plane, but also about making sure it's operating properly from the outside as well.

Snow Day

How much snow needs to fall before your district cancels school for the day? Well, if you live in the south, any amount of snow would be shocking—so one snowflake and school is off for the day! Can you imagine snow in Florida or southern Texas?

Ain’t No Mountain High

Technology is quite amazing. Seeing the elevation of mountain ranges in this way makes it clear how tall the mountains are in relation to the other landscapes across the United States.

Even in comparison to other mountain ranges in the U.S., like the Adirondacks in New York, or the Appalachian Mountain Range in Tennesee, the Rocky Mountains are so clearly the tallest and most impressive. How cool.
