- They don’t smell. Unless you have 20 cats and 20 litter boxes. Then they smell.
- They may not give as much affection as dogs, but when they do, it’s worth the wait.
- You have to earn a cat’s love and respect. Which may sound like more of a con than a pro, but only if you’re a lazy dog person.
- They don’t require a walk every day. They just sleep. All. Day. Long.
- They make a great addition to selfies.
- They kill bugs and rodents. Who needs men?
- They clean themselves constantly, so you don’t need to give them baths.
- They can poop on their own in a litter box, unlike dogs, which need to be taken outside and supervised.
- They’re independent. Unlike dogs, they don’t require constant attention. And they don’t give you those pathetic puppy dog eyes 24/7.
- Cats have amazing instincts. Having a rough day? Your cat will sense your sadness and make your day 100% better – whether it is by licking your face or just snuggling in your lap.
- Cats are self-sufficient. Forgot to feed them? No problem, they’ll go catch their own food.
