Regular watering cans can be too heavy for children, so make them their own using a milk jug.  Poke holes into the plastic lid and voila! Homemade watering can!

Wine bottles are great for extended watering while you’re away.  Just fill them up, turn them upside down and stick them into your containers. Your plants will drink as they need hydration.
