Say Goodbye To Your Favorite TV Shows

Will we see another season of our favorite show? It’s a question that we have every spring, and many of us wait with bated breath for the results. After all, we get attached to our favorite TV shows. We tune in or catch them on streaming channels soon after the new season debuts. Saying we get attached to our favorite shows doesn't even go far enough, in our opinion.

The worst part about this is that networks don’t always keep a show, even if it’s doing well! It could be pulling great ratings and audiences, but they still get the axe. Can you tell we're still salty about Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fox? We know it got renewed, but it's almost unjust that it got canceled in the first place.

Anyway, that means we’re forced to see our favorite series canceled. At that point, other networks and streaming services have the ability to pick it up, but that isn’t always the case. Sometimes, they’re just gone for good.

On this list, we’ve included which TV shows have been renewed, which ones have been canceled, and which ones' futures are currently still up in the air. Several of our favorite shows managed to avoid the ax and get another season. Heck, some of them even got renewed for two more seasons!

This is Us quickly became one of the most popular series on NBC, and people can’t stop talking about it (and binging it where it’s available). It's no surprise that the series was renewed. What's more is that it was renewed for three seasons, taking it through to six seasons.

This is Us (ENDING)

We do have some sad news for fans, however, and we're going to just rip the Band-Aid off -- season six will be the last one. It's pretty heartbreaking but all good things have to come to an end sometime. Season six will debut on Tuesday, January 4th. Supposedly, season six will be the most dramatic ever, so you won't want to miss it.

Did you know...

  • Jackie Kennedy is famous for redecorating and renovating the interior of the White House. Actually, on just her first day, she ordered $50,000 in changes for new rooms for the children and upgrades to the kitchen. She later hosted a tour of the White House for CBS News which was viewed by 56 million people and won her an Emmy Award.
  • Björk created a media sensation when she wore her iconic white swan dress to the 2001 Oscars. At the time, many derided it as hideous and a publicity stunt, but it has since gone down as one of the most memorable dresses of all time—even if it isn't exactly beloved. She says David Bowie was the inspiration behind the dress.
  • Paris Hilton not only lives in a mansion, she also built a doghouse mansion for her Chihuahua. It's 300 square feet and includes air conditioning and heating. It comes decked out with designer furniture, a chandelier, a pink paint job, second-floor balcony, and enclosed "yard." It's not enough for you to live in luxury. Your dog must, as well.
  • While attending the Grammys in February 2000, Jennifer Lopez stepped out in a green Versace dress that instantly became a phenomenon. The barely-there ensemble had a dramatically low cut that came below JLo’s belly button. It became such a talking point that it was Google’s most popular search query up to that point, and it spurred the company to include images into search results. It became the motivation for Google Images.
  • Jennifer Aniston's star-defining role on friends started a hair craze in the 90s that even lasted into the early 2000s. Called "The Rachel," Aniston's shoulder-length haircut had grown-out bangs and highlights styled to perfection. A hairdresser in Detroit noted that at the peak of its popularity, 40% of her business was devoted to recreating "The Rachel." Too bad that it was notoriously difficult to maintain on your own at home.
