10 Comic Book Villains We Wish Were in the Suicide Squad

Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy

Sexy and deadly, Poison Ivy’s plant powers and venomous toxins would make her a dangerous member of the team. She has also appeared in comics as Harley Quinn’s recurring partner-in-crime, and they would make a great on-screen pair.

Captain Cold

Captain Cold

One of Flash’s oldest villains, Captain Cold possesses a gun that allows him to freeze objects to absolute zero.  A born leader, he’d conflict with other squad members and create a natural "fire and ice" elemental duo with fellow Suicide Squad member El Diablo.

Cheetah

Cheetah

A classic Wonder Woman villain, Barbara Minerva is an archaeologist who gains the power to change into a half woman/half cheetah. Bloodthirsty, conniving, and covered in cheetah fur, she’d be a dangerous and visually stunning addition to the squad.

Black Adam

Black Adam

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has already been pegged to play Black Adam in an upcoming Shazam movie. We can’t wait for this performance, and we’d love to see him bring his super strength, speed, and lightning powers on screen sooner rather than later.

King Shark

King Shark

A classic Aquaman villain who has already appeared on The Flash TV show, King Shark gets chosen for one reason alone: He’s a freakin’ shark! The son of a Shark God, he’d have a menacing presence on the big screen.

Duela Dent

Duela Dent

This teenager has falsely claimed to be the daughter of Two-Face, the Riddler, and the Penguin before currently claiming to be the daughter of the Joker. Her twisted origins and wacky gadgets would create some over-the-top scenes with Joker and Harley.

Metallo

Metallo

John Corben (AKA Metallo) is a nemesis of Superman who has a metal exoskeleton and a kryptonite heart. Given Corben's introduction in Superman v. Batman, this soldier-turned-cyborg would be a natural fit for an appearance in Suicide Squad.

Flamingo

Flamingo

A modern flamboyant Batman villain, Flamingo dresses in bright pink and wields a variety of weapons, including a chain whip and submachine guns. Oh, and he’s been known to eat the face of his victims.  Yum.

Solomon Grundy

Solomon Grundy

A classic nursery rhyme explains that Solomon Grundy was "born on a Monday," but it fails to mention that the comic book version of this character is a zombie villain who is pretty much invulnerable. Imbued with super strength, he always returns from defeat due to a super healing factor ... even when completely destroyed! He’d bring additional muscle to the team alongside Killer Croc.

Deadpool

Deadpool

Okay, the “Merc with a Mouth” is a Marvel character, so there’s absolutely NO chance he’ll ever appear on screen in a DC film like Suicide Squad. But with his foul mouth, comic instincts, deadly arsenal, and tendency to break the fourth wall to talk to the audience, he’d be PERFECT for Suicide Squad. Come on, Marvel and DC. Make it happen!
