10 Signs Your Bromance is Actually a Gay Relationship

Sometimes things get emotional ... especially when a large amount of alcohol is involved. A true bro is there for you, even when it’s uncomfortable. If he’s the only one who held you when your girlfriend left you heartbroken, you may have found a keeper.

Friendships can easily become possessive, which isn’t a problem if everyone involved is okay with that. If you haven’t seen your bro in 12 hours, you may feel the need to check on him and make sure he hasn’t died. 

Bromances are often tricky when one or both of the guys are in a relationship. If your significant other is jealous of how much time you constantly spend with your best friend, you might be in relationship more serious than a bromance.

When your buddy begins a new chapter in his love life, it can really cut into bro time. You can either understand that this is a natural part of life and be happy for him or constantly look for ways to tear down his new love.

This whole public display of affection thing really isn’t helping your “We’re not dating!” argument. What starts off as a quick brush on the cheek for humorous effect can easily get out of hand. If you can’t keep your hands off one another, you might want to think about why.

If you go by Goose and Maverick, you may be working a little too hard to compare yourself to other famous bromances. Also, you may want to rewatch Top Gun  and determine the nature of that relationship.

It doesn’t matter if it’s an Aerosmith song that’s both “manly” and “cool.” If you have formed a connection over a mutual love for a particular jam, then it sounds like you have a couple’s song.
