Green Lantern v Vision
Both of these characters have a seemingly infinite set of abilities, with the Green Lantern’s ring able to generate anything he imagines and Vision’s blend of the artificial intelligence Tony Stark created and the Mind Stone. It would be tough to call a winner, although Vision doesn’t appear to have any noticeable weaknesses.
Spider-Man v Deathstroke
With his snarky comments and web slinging abilities, Spider-man is always fun to watch during battle. He may be singing a different tune when fighting the solemn mercenary Deathstroke, though. Deathstroke’s wit and healing abilities have worked in his favor against many of DC’s most famous heroes, so Spidey would have to watch out.
Lex Luthor v Iron Man
This would be a toss up. While neither character inherently possesses super powers, Lex Luthor has used his super intelligence to back Superman into a corner, and Iron Man’s creative ingenuity makes him a worthy opponent. After a long battle, Iron Man would probably win, as Lex wouldn’t be able to use his favorite weapon: kryptonite.
Martian Manhunter v Ultron
Even when fighting alongside Batman and Superman, Martian Manhunter stands out as being an unstoppable force. Still, Ultron has abilities that allow him to take on several super beings at once. If these two were to ever battle, you can bet that it would light up the depths of outer space.
Thor v Wonder Woman
Both are royalty in their own right, and both pack quite a punch. Thor would be able to wield Mjolnir and unleash the forces of the sky, but Wonder Woman would be able to block his attacks and use her outstanding reflexes to outmaneuver Thor. It is difficult to imagine either one incapacitating the other.
Hulk v Doomsday
Black Widow v Catwoman
With similar acrobatic skills and a mutual appreciation of leather, this seems like a pretty even fight. Black Widow has the upper hand in terms of combat training, but Catwoman always has cunning tricks up her sleeve. If Catwoman is able to keep Batman on his toes, she could definitely hold her own against Black Widow.
Batman v Deadpool
Two of the comic world's most well-loved characters, Batman and Deadpool would draw quite an audience. Batman has extreme intellect and almost unlimited resources, but it is nearly impossible to kill Deadpool. It wouldn’t be difficult for Batman to uphold his "no killing" rule.
Daredevil v The Punisher
This is the only pairing on this list that has a solid chance of happening, particularly since it was announced that Frank Castle will be joining Netflix’s Daredevil series. Both heroes are extremely great fighters, and The Punisher’s drive for revenge would pair well against Daredevil’s strict moral code.
Superman v Thanos
Although Superman is practically indestructible and has incredible abilities, Thanos holds the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos has defeated many powerful opponents and he probably could get his hands on some Kryptonite, but Superman has the determination to put up a good fight. This would truly be a great match.
