This season of RHOBH has been eventful to say the least. If you found yourself becoming overwhelmed then you've come to the right place. Here's the important stuff to keep in mind as we continue through the season.
- Lisa Rinna is a new cast member.
Yes, it's the Lisa Rinna you’ve heard of from her soap opera days and basically any job she can cash a check from. I don’t know why some were surprised she made the jump to reality TV, but they shouldn’t have been. She did a Depends commercial so she’s obviously down for anything.
- Lisa and Brandi are at odds.
They went from being besties to falling out last season, and this season they’re having trouble mending the fences. We’ll see what the rest of the season has in store, but so far it looks like it won’t be easy to kiss and make up.
- Yolanda isn’t perfect.
Well at least her children aren’t. Her younger daughter, Bella, was arrested for a DUI during the taping of season 5. Yolanda received the news while yachting with Kyle and was visibly upset and disappointed.
- Speaking of Yolanda, her Lyme’s disease is still an issue and a struggle for her.
She describes some pretty severe symptoms that can keep her at home and bedridden for days at a time. Hopefully this is something she can overcome, and it won’t be a life long struggle for her.
- Kim is still pretty nuts.
She had some endearing scenes with her daughter getting married this season, but she still seems so disorganized and all over the place. It’s hard to watch considering her past with substance abuse.
- Kyle is having trouble being relatable.
This season Kyle has been private jetting and yachting all over the world. She constantly tries to downplay their lifestyle and laugh off the luxury, which isn’t doing her any favors. She needs to start owning their privileges and stop acting embarrassed.
- Portia is really coming into her own.
With the housewives franchise, it’s common to see little girls changing from little sweeties to sassy little girls as they get older, and Portia is really starting to crank up the sass. Right now it seems pretty innocent and like she is doing it for laughs, but hopefully it doesn’t get out of control like some children from other city franchises (cough, Milania, cough).
- Lisa has a new tagline and it’s the best ever.
"Throw me to the wolves and I shall return leading the pack.” After tucking her tail last season, and leaving Puerto Rico after coming under fire from the other ladies, she has her head held high and she’s not taking apologies. She seems to still have a grudge held from last season and isn’t being very friendly with the other ladies.
- New cast member Eileen Davidson is a soap star but hasn’t brought the drama… yet.
So far she seems sweet and likable. There are few edits that make her look a bit nuts but you can tell it’s taken out of context.
- There is more drama yet to come.
The teasers are super vague so we’ll just have to wait and see what the season has in store for us.
