You could watch the Victoria Secret fashion show to see the newest pink-covered underwear fashions paraded down the runway, or you could do one of these things instead.
- Talk to your friends about body image issues. Not in the Mean Girls way, but in a supportive, accepting way.
- Learn how to buy a bra that fits. You can even go a Victoria Secret store to get help with a fitting if you need your VS fix.
- Another way to get your fix? Look up the musical appearances on YouTube and skip the lingerie parade.
- Read an article that challenges your conceptions of beauty. Check out “Nothing To Lose,” a performance piece by dance company Force Majeure, for example.
- Play this New Girl drinking game with some badass friends.
- Wear some actually comfortable clothes and count your blessings that you’re not strutting down a runway in those ridiculously tall shoes.
- Get the best of both worlds. Have a contest with your friends to see who can make the best construction paper wings. Then try them on and strut around your house with wings and sweatpants.
- Volunteer at a local women’s shelter.
- Read one of these awesome memoirs from women in comedy. I personally recommend Yes Please, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, or Bossypants.
- Go get a massage. Nothing helps you feel good in your own skin like a relaxing Swedish massage.
Or literally anything else. That's an option, too.
