Who doesn’t love Tom Hanks? People claim that he is the nicest actor in Hollywood--because not only does he treat his co-workers with kindness, but also members of the crew and others who are frequently overlooked. Tom Hanks has been in plenty of films, and we'd love to say that it's because of his wonderful demeanor. While it may be a factor, we all know otherwise. Tom Hanks is also a stellar actor. It's hard to forget him paddling after a soccer ball in Cast Away or his tear-jerking performance in The Green Mile. It's basically gotten to the point that his name alone is enough to draw audiences.
Just to give you an example, Tom Hanks gave Veronica Warren half his sandwich when the food supply was running low on the set of The Da Vinci Code. On the set of The Green Mile, he insisted that he help the crew clean up the equipment after shoots. Finally, he’s also a huge humanitarian and goes above and beyond for fans.
