Sasha Chistova is gaining a huge social media presence thanks to her work as a YouTube and Instagram star. As a model, she shares her fitness and skincare secrets. On top of that, she’s also known to touch on serious issues affecting young women, such as eating disorders and mental health issues.

Sasha Chistova has 1.8 million followers on Instagram. She’s also active on TikTok, with an estimated 1.1 million followers. Currently, she is working on an NFT project with two creations available for purchase thus far. What else will Sasha get up to next? Who can say? But we are definitely watching!

Now, we may be too old to believe in Santa Claus, but Santa Dimopulos is a whole other story. As a champion at the 2011 WBPF World Championship, winner of Ukrainian Dancing with the Stars 2020, and a Miss Ukraine Universe contestant, she was able to make a name for herself early on. She was even a singer in a Ukrainian girl group called Nu Virgos.

Her Instagram is at around 800K followers, and she also has an active Telegram account for her fans. On her Instagram, Santa shares her makeup routine and talks about her fitness lifestyle. She’s also known for organizing sports battles on her account and shares other highlights of her life.

As a journalist and sports blogger, Vlada Zinchenko has certainly been on everyone’s radar, but she made an even bigger name for herself when she married Manchester United soccer player Alexander Zinchenko. She famously came into the spotlight in 2016 when she showed up to a game and was named the most beautiful fan.

In her 20s, Vlada Zinchenko has made some remarkable achievements in her life. She won the Miss Vinnytsia title, graduated from law school, and now works as a TV presenter as well. Her Instagram follower count sits at around 615K, and she has a YouTube channel called Vlada Sedan.

Katya Silchenko is quickly becoming a fashion icon. She’s famous as a Ukrainian designer and is the CEO of the COAT brand in Ukraine, which is beloved by many American celebrities. It was named after its signature piece, the bright coat. Additionally, Katya works as the L’Oreal Paris ambassador in her country.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Katya Silchenko was a Blackpool finalist as a professional ballroom dancer. Her Instagram is currently around 250K followers. She recently appeared in an Elle publication detailing the insider secrets of her business and how she works. She’s certainly a beautiful Ukrainian woman to watch.

Sonia Plakidyuk is both spicy and eccentric. The ginger Ukrainian fashion photographer has a unique personality unlike any other in the business. She can often be found shooting famous Ukrainian celebrities or hosting a modeling TV show, Ukrainian Next Top Model.

Her Instagram page has nearly 500K followers, and that number is always going up. In addition to her hosting duties, she also performs as a judge on the show Supermodel po-ukrainsky. Nadia Meiher

Nadia Meiher

Nadia Meiher was and is one of Ukraine's hottest stars from back in the 2000s, which has made her one of the most influential pop icons of the past 20 years. She made a name for herself in the spicy girl group VIA Gra and later became a television host for the STB network in Ukraine.

In 2014, she became part of the Russian series Your Face Sounds Familiar. This helped her launch her solo musical career with the release of the single “Delo ne v tele." On the MAXIM Russia 100 Sexiest Women in the World list, Nadia has appeared a total of seven times.

Zlata Ohnevych

Zlata Ohnevych

Zlata Ohnevych is a famous Ukrainian singer who represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö. She sang the song “Gravity” and earned third place. She had previously participated in the contest in 2010 and 2011. She would also host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

Zlata Ohnevych now has an active political career. She was a candidate in the 26 October 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election as part of the Radical Party. The party won 22 seats and she was among them. She was an active participant of parliament but ended up resigning in 2015. Her reasons:

"Now I see that when there is no culture, it’s easier to rule and manipulate people. That’s why in these circumstances, as cultural activist, I’m not helpful to this parliament.”

Masha Efrosinina

Masha Efrosinina is a famous television host and interviewer. She co-hosted the 50th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. On top of that, she presented for Fabryka Zirok, which is basically a Ukrainian version of Star Academy. Then, in 2018, she served as the United Nations Population Fund Goodwill Ambassador.

After graduating high school with honors, she enrolled in the Department of Foreign Languages at Kyiv University and graduated as an interpreter. In 2003, she married the son of the president of the Ukrainian basketball league, Zurab Khromaiev, Tymur Khromaiev. At the age of 19, she made her television debut on the First National show Happy Bell.

Olena Zelenska is the First Lady of Ukraine and the wife of President Volodymyr Zelensky, making her one of the most influential women in her country. She was even labeled as such by Forbes in 2022. Involving herself in plenty of charity work and active diplomacy, Olena Zelenska has certainly kept busy as a first lady.

Olena Zelenska studied architecture at Kryvyi Rih National University but became a screenwriter in 2003, creating sketch comedies that her husband would star in. Having married in 2003, they’ve been married for almost twenty years. In 2019, she sparked huge interest with her appearance in the Ukrainian edition of Vogue.

Olena Kravets

Olena Kravets is one of the hottest Ukrainian producers and directors in show business. She’s also a TV host and one of the most influential female celebrities. She has served as the executive director for Kvartal 95 Studio, which was founded by the current Ukrainian president. She has held that position since 2000.

Born Olena Maliashenko, she married producer Serhii Kravets in September 2002 and adopted his surname. They went on to have three children together: Mariia and twins Ivan and Kateryna. During her second pregnancy, she launched a specialized clothing line for pregnant women called OneSize by Lena Kravets.

Meanwhile, Kunis continues to act in television and film. She is soon to be seen in the sequel to the series that launched her career, called That ‘90s Show, as well as the film Luckiest Girl Alive.

Olga Kurylenko was born in Berdyansk, Ukraine, and worked as a model at an early age, making the covers of Vogue and Elle by the time she was 18. She first started acting in music videos before making her film debut in the 2005 French film L'Annulaire. After that, she would make her American film debut in the 2007 film Hitman.

Her big break came when she was turned Bond girl in the 2008 film Quantum of Solace. For that role, she even beat out Gal Gadot in her audition. In 2021, she joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the film Black Widow. Now a citizen of France, she, nevertheless, expressed her support for Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Tina Karol is a Ukrainian singer, actress, and TV presenter. She first gained fame when she represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. There, she sang "Show Me Your Love." She is now a mentor on the reality series The Voice of Ukraine. Additionally, she’s played the role of judge on Vidbir.

The multi-talented Karol can also dance, write, and speak multiple languages. After releasing her album,  Polyus Prityazheniya, she published her fairy tale story "Pautinka." In 2009, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. In 2009, she was honored as one of the Top 100 Most Successful Women in Ukraine by Focus and named the Most Beautiful Singer of Ukraine of 2008.

Julia Sanina

Julia Sanina was the front woman for the rock band The Hardkiss. Born into a family of musicians, it was not a huge surprise she ended up becoming a singer. A natural talent, she was first on stage when she was just three years old in an ensemble. She would soon become a solo vocalist, however.

In 2005, she graduated from the Music School of Jazz and Variety Art and then earned her master’s degree in folklore at the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Before joining The Hardkiss, she performed in the band Sister Siren and the duo Val & Sanina.

This Ukrainian model is well-known for her long legs and striking beauty. Having made her debut at the Fall Collette Dinnigan show in Paris, she would sign on with the Why Not Agency in Milan and would go on to work for designers such as Christian Dior, Emanuel Ungaro, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Alla Kostromichova isn't all about beauty, she has brains, too - having earned a degree in medical engineering. She's appeared in numerous magazines and walked the catwalk at various fashion shows. She currently has almost one million followers on her Instagram account. She is currently working to provide aid to Ukraine, her native country.

Ani Lorak

Ani Lorak holds the honorary title of the People’s Artist of Ukraine. For over two decades, she has captivated audiences with her catchy pop songs and stunning good looks. Born in the town of Kitsman in the Chernivtsi Oblast, Ani Lorak pursued her passion for music at a young age.

She was just six years old when she first performed in front of a live audience. As of 2014, she became one of the top-earning singers in her country. In 2009, she married a Turkish manager named Murat Nalçacioglu, whom she met while vacationing in Turkey, but their marriage was annulled in 2019.

Anna Bessonova is a former rhythmic gymnast who won two Olympic bronze medals in 2004 and in 2008. On top of that, she was a five-time medalist in the all-around competition of the World Championships. Since retiring as a competitor in 2017, she moved to the United States to coach in Florida.

Many are still following this talented gymnast, as you can tell from her Instagram, which has over 44K followers. She regularly posts photos on her account, including modeling photos and photos of her child since becoming a proud mother. Since her two Olympic appearances, her fans have certainly not forgotten her.

Born in Canada, Chantal Kreviazuk is of Ukrainian descent, as you can tell from her name. In Canada, she’s a renowned singer-songwriter, composer, and pianist who began playing music from a very young age. Her debut studio album was Under These Rocks and Stones, which came out in 1996.

From the beginning of her career until 2016, she was the 51st best-selling Canadian artist. She’s collaborated with several notable stars in America, such as Drake, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, and Pitbull – to name a few. She’s married to Raine Maida, the lead singer of Our Lady Peace, whom she met at Pearl Jam concert.

Dasha Astafieva is a Ukrainian model and actress who was formerly a member of the pop duo NikitA, one of the most controversial bands in the Russian-speaking world due to their extremely spicy lyrics. Dasha was a member of the band from 2008 to 2017 – making her one of the longest-running members of the group.

Dasha still releases music as a solo artist and performs live. In addition to her work as a founding member of NikitA, she was named “Playmate of the Year” by the Ukrainian version of Playboy in 2007 and then “Playmate of the Month” in 2009. Following those appearances, she became the 55th Anniversary Playmate and was featured on episodes of The Girls Next Door

Milla Jovovich is a Ukrainian-born actress and model who is mostly famous for her sci-fi action roles in films like The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil franchise. After spending much of her early life in the USSR, she moved to London when she was five years old and then moved to California several months later.

While her mother failed to acquire acting jobs due to the language barrier, Jovovich became fluent in English after just a few months in public school. Her parents would work as housekeepers for Hollywood director Brian De Palma. By the age of nine, Milla would start modeling, leaving school at the age of 12 to pursue it full-time.

Snejana Onopka is a Ukrainian model born in Sievierodonetsk of Eastern Ukraine.  In 2001, she moved to Kyiv, and thereafter, at the age of 15, she was discovered by a modeling scout. In 2005, her modeling career really had taken off – appearing in Prada and Dolce & Gabbana ad campaigns, as well as two covers of Italian Vogue.

In 2011, she married Ukrainian businessman Mykola Shchur, but they divorced in 2020, citing physical abuse from her husband. As of 2023, Snejana Onopka has a huge Instagram following – over 14 million followers. She regularly posts fashion photos and modeling photos to the delight of her fans.

Ruslana

Ruslana is a Ukrainian woman with numerous job titles. As a performer, she’s a singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress, having started her professional career in 1996. She was also classically trained at Lviv Conservatory as a professional conductor and classical pianist. Like Ani Lorak, she holds the title of People's Artist of Ukraine.

In addition to her work as a performer, she has also worked as an activist and politician. She was a former member of the Ukrainian parliament (People's Deputy of Ukraine) as well as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Ruslana continues to remain active as an artist to this day, although she is no longer in the political scene.

Yulia Tymoshenko is a Ukrainian politician who has served as the People’s Deputy of Ukraine on and off since 1997. Additionally, she has served her country as Deputy Prime Minister and Prime Minister of Ukraine. She also has the distinguishment of being the only woman to serve as Prime Minister.

In 2010, she ran for the Ukrainian presidential election but lost to Viktor Yanukovych. Later, in 2011, after alleged abuses of power were uncovered, she was imprisoned and prevented from engaging in further political activity. However, in 2014, she was released after Parliament decriminalized the article under which she was charged. Now she’s back in politics, providing aid to the Ukrainians.

Ivanna Sakhno is a Ukrainian actress best known for her roles in Pacific Rim Uprising as well as the new Star Wars Disney+ series Ahsoka. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, she dreamed of becoming an actress ever since she saw the French film Amélie in 2004. When she was 13, she left her native country to study English in Vancouver.

It was there that she was discovered by American casting directors. After moving to the United States in 2013, she began pursuing a Hollywood career while she was still attending high school. But Ivanna hasn’t forgotten where she came from, being vocal about her support for the Ukrainian political prisoners of Russia.

Born in Lviv, Anna Andres is a Ukrainian model, influencer and entrepreneur. She gained wide recognition as Miss Ukraine Universe 2014. She’s also well-educated, having graduated from the Lviv University of Trade and Economics with a law degree, thereafter studying at the University of Arts: Central Saint Martins in London.

Her modeling career began in 2010. After receiving multiple offers from modeling agencies, Andres ended up joining L Models and Booking. By 2014, she was crowned as Miss Ukraine Universe. Later, in 2016, she started working as a TV presenter on HD Fashion. Since then, she’s started a clothing line, Pritch by Anna Andres, and a jewelry brand, Anna Andres Jewelry.

Anastasiia Kamenskykh

Anastasiia Kamenskykh, also known as NK, is a Ukrainian pop singer who also works as an actress and television personality. Born in Kyiv, she was part of a family exchange education program when she was just five years old. At the age of 6, she moved to Italy and lived there for several years. Thereafter, she was trained in music and ballet.

A woman of many talents, she’s also multilingual - fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English, Italian, and Spanish. In 2004, she made her singing debut at the Black Sea Games festival, which gained her wide recognition. By 2017, she began her solo project NK. Her first song and music video went viral on social media - "#etomoyanoch."

Alena Vinnitskaya

Also born in Kyiv, Alena Vinnitskaya is a Ukrainian singer as well as a TV presenter. During the six years of her solo career, she released eight CDs. This was likely not a surprise to her parents since music was her passion from an early age, even having written her own songs as a child.

In 1993, she started her own musical group called The Last Unicorn. Towards the end of 1997, Alena started working as a TV hostess for the music channel Biz TV, which helped her get other hosting jobs. Today, Alena Vinnitskaya has an active presence on social media, with over 10K followers on her Instagram.

Olga Kharlan is a Ukrainian fencer who specializes in the art of the sabre. She’s not only a four-time individual women’s world sabre champion but also a four-time Olympic medalist. She competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2012 London Olympics, the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Kharlan has consistently been ranked among the top fencers in the world since 2012. She was last seen at the 2023 World Fencing Championships in Milan, Italy, defeating the Russian fencer Anna Smirnova. Born in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, she now lives in Bologna, Italy, with Italian fencer Luigi Samele. Evidently, she’s all about the fencing life.

Viktoriya Sasonkina

Viktoriya Sasonkina is a Ukrainian fashion model born in Odesa. Although, as a child, her interests were in drawing and graphic design, even taking art lessons at the age of 7, she ultimately became a model after a chance encounter that would change her life forever. Having gone to a model casting to support a friend of hers, she herself was discovered by the international director of L Models.

At just 17 years old, she signed with Premium Models in Paris, making her debut on the catwalk at the Issey Miyake's Spring 2007 show. She’s appeared on the covers of numerous international magazines, including Elle and Marie Claire. She now lives in New York City, continuing her work as a fashion model.
