1. Peter Pan
Magic leaps off of this tattoo! I love the simple, black silhouette characters and the colored fairy dust with no definite lines. The best part is that this is a one-day-old tattoo! The redness is completely masked by the design, creating the illusion that there is more fairy dust.

2. Simba
I’ve always loved Rafiki’s simple, classic drawing of Simba, and this tattoo definitely does it justice. The colors and shading are simply divine. Plus, this is just one part of an entire sleeve of magical Disney tattoos!

3. Ariel
This is probably my favorite tattoo on the list because of how dainty and unique it is. The tattoo artist chose to use bright colors instead of traditional black for the outline, which matches Ariel’s fun and creative spirit wonderfully!

4. Mickey and Minnie
I am a huge fan of simple tattoos, and these are done beautifully! The effortless, curved lines give these tattoos a whimsical feel. (Also, Minnie’s tiny red bow is adorable!) This design would be even more precious if it was divided between two different people, such as a couple or best friends.

5. Alice
The story of Alice in Wonderland inspires many creative pieces of art, and I love this tattoo artist’s take on Alice and the looking glass. The coloring looks almost like a watercolor painting and appears perfectly imperfect.

6. Ursula
This unconventional tattoo of Ursula is absolutely stunning! The artist chose to forgo any black outlines, which made all the difference. That, along with the lighting on Ursula’s face makes this tattoo look three-dimensional.

7. Anna and Elsa
It's extremely difficult to draw hair, and it's even harder to tattoo it. Yet this artist made Anna and Elsa’s hair look just like it does in the movie! He also captured their sisterly bond with the sweet expressions on their faces, and no Frozen tattoo would be complete without a few snowflakes.

8. Disney Princesses
These tattoos are so cool! If you can’t choose between your favorite Disney princesses, why not get a tattoo of all of them? The level of detail in each of the princess’ faces is remarkable considering how minuscule they are.

9. Rapunzel and Fllynn
This Tangled scene was incredibly heartwarming, and the tattoo of it makes all of those emotions come rushing back. If you look closely, Rapunzel and Flynn are in black and white while the rest of the tattoo is in color. That makes them stand out in an intriguing way.

10. Merida
Are we sure this isn’t a painting photoshopped onto an arm? Merida has the most beautiful red hair and blue eyes, and none of that is lost in this tattoo. The artist perfectly captured her intensity, and I love how the whole tattoo is framed by her beloved bow.

11. The House from 'Up'
This Up tattoo combines the best of both worlds: a great idea and a great design. Sure, it would have been possible to go super colorful with a tattoo like this, but there’s something about the simple, black and white nature of it that looks awesome nonetheless.

12. Poison Apple from 'Snow White'
This glam-rock interpretation of the poison apple from Snow White is just the best. It’s got a colorful, modern twist on a classic Disney movie moment! Some serious kudos are due for the artist’s great work on the pink and blue gradient.

13. Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero
This tattoo goes heavy on the black ink--but that’s exactly what you need for an excellent Nightmare Before Christmas design like this!

14. "Tale as Old as Time"
Many tattoo fans will tell you that your hand is a painful spot to get inked--but this simple, tasteful Beauty and the Beast tattoo might be worth the pain!

15. Marie from 'The Aristocats'
There’s no wrong way to do an Aristocats tattoo, but this one of Marie really knocks it out of the park! The soft splashes of pink give it a high-quality watercolor look that’s become quite popular in the tattoo art world.
