Sports are religion to many people around the world. Its competitors and coaches are beloved and revered for their abilities and lauded for their successes. They become heroes to kids and adults, alike. Despite that, there are some athletes who are less than delightful as people.

While it's true that nobody is perfect, some have more obvious flaws than others. So, here's a list of 44 individuals who might be among the biggest jerks to ever be involved in sports.
