You don’t really need to be given reasons to love Alan Rickman, but I’m going to list some anyway. Aside from the multiple moving characters he’s portrayed both on the stage and big screen, he also has a sense of humor. Trust me; there are hundreds of reasons to adore him. - J.K. Rowling wrote the character of Severus Snape with Rickman in mind, and he was her first choice to play the character in the movies.
