Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh strutted the red carpet in this red, sheer Valentino dress. It looked fantastic and flowed effortlessly behind her. The only problem was that her edgy faux-hawk hairstyle didn't quite match the vibe, but the dress stole the show anyway.

Nevertheless, Florence Pugh's undeniable charm and charisma prevailed, allowing the sheer beauty of the Valentino dress to steal the spotlight. Her confident demeanor and impeccable style ensured that she remained a standout presence on the red carpet, leaving a lasting impression of grace and sophistication on all who beheld her mesmerizing appearance.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift looked stunning in a dress made by Gucci designer Sabato de Sarno. The dress was perfect for her because she was nominated for an award that night. She sparkled and shone as she walked down the red carpet, and everyone couldn't help but notice her. It seemed like she was almost stealing the show everywhere she went.

Unfortunately, Travis Kelce, who is often seen with her at events, wasn't there with her that night. It would have been nice to see them together, but Taylor still managed to stand out and make a statement all on her own with her dazzling presence and elegant attire.

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie arrived dressed to represent the buzzworthy movie everyone's been chatting about—Barbie! Her outfit, crafted by Armani Prive, was a spot-on replica of the iconic 1977 "Superstar Barbie" ensemble. She truly embodied the essence of Barbie and stood out as one of the most vibrant looks of the evening.

Despite not winning an award herself, Margot's portrayal of Barbie helped the character secure two Globes. It's a testament to her portrayal and the impact of the film. While she may not have taken home an individual award, her contribution to the success of Barbie on screen certainly didn't go unnoticed. Margot's dedication to the role and her stunning fashion choice added an extra sparkle to the event, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who saw her.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman had a tough night at her first award show without her husband, who had been unfaithful. Despite not winning, she made a striking impression. Her dress was a masterpiece, adorned with crystals and crafted by Dior Couture with intricate needlework by the Chanakya School of Craft. The gown resembled a painting by Monet, with its delicate micro flowers adding a charming touch.

As Natalie walked around, the gown shimmered and sparkled, leaving people awestruck by its beauty. It was like she was wearing a piece of art. Even though she may have been dealing with personal challenges, Natalie's elegance and grace shone through, captivating everyone in her presence. The dress was not only a fashion statement but also a symbol of her resilience and strength during a difficult time.

Rosamund Pike

Rosamund Pike

Rosamund Pike opted for an all-black lacy gown paired with a face veil designed by Dior for the Golden Globes. Some thought she looked like she was going to a funeral rather than a glitzy awards show. She explained that the veil was to hide her face due to a skiing accident, but many noticed that her face seemed uninjured.

Despite the controversy surrounding her ensemble, Pike remained poised and confident throughout the evening, proving that she could still command attention and turn heads with her fashion choices.

Sophia Di Martino proved to be an icon in the Nafsika Skourti ‘The Eden Trophy’ gown. The long-sleeved dress has a tulip embroidery that snakes around the neck and chest and can’t help but mesmerize viewers.

She's embodying all the old Hollywood actresses we love, like Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren, in all the right ways. Nothing says classy like Old Hollywood.

Jenny Ortega

Jenny Ortega

Jenna Ortega donned a sheer Dior Haute Couture dress with flower embroidery and a structured skirt.

The dress not only looked beautiful but also showed Ortega’s versatility in the fashion world by straying far from the gothic style of her beloved Wednesday Addams's character.

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl’s Emmy outfit just screams old Hollywood glamor. The top of the strapless red dress by Ream Archa placed fabric together in a way that resembled flower petals, with a silver broach at the waistline that was the center of the bloom.

A matching silver necklace and clutch tied the look together. It had been a while since Katherine came to an Emmy event, and we were happy to see her.

Rege-Jean Page

Rege-Jean Page

A classic black suit doesn’t have to be boring, and Regé-Jean Page made sure his beautifully tailored black suit wasn’t. His silky collared shirt lacks visible buttons, adding a fun flair to this otherwise classic look.

Of course, if anyone was going to pull off the full black suit, it was going to be this tall drink of water. He stood tall, and we loved to see it. What else would you expect from the Duke of Hastings?

Ali Wong

Ali Wong

Ali Wong, a two-time Emmy winner, graced the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton dress that radiated unique charm and individuality. While some critics may liken it to attire suitable for a middle school dance, the ensemble showcased Wong's bold and playful style.

The dress, adorned with intricate floral patterns, exuded a whimsical elegance that set Wong apart from the crowd. The mesh overlay on the silver beaded bodice added a touch of modern flair, while the vibrant floral skirt brought a burst of color to the red carpet.

Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah was not only a wonderful host but showed up and showed out in the way of fashion. We love a twist on a classic black suit, and Noah delivered.

His suit jacket had a glittery sheen with a leopard print design. A bold choice, but it worked in his favor. To bring the look together, Noah had a small figurine of a big cat at his collar where the knot of his tie would have been.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift not only won her 13th Grammy and announced her 11th studio album at the award show, but she made Grammy history as the first person to win Album of the Year four times! And her outfit lived up to the moment.

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera wore a long-sleeve light blue gown that hugged her figure down to her knees before trailing off in a classy train.

Our favorite detail was the way the dress wrapped across her hips, showcasing a beading detail. Although the 43 year old has never looked her age, she stunned on the red carpet.

Lionel Richie

Lionel Richie

If there’s one thing we love, it’s a shimmery suit. Lionel Richie wore a black suit jacket with a giant dragonfly embossed across it, wings spread.

The dragonfly seemed to be made of delicate rhinestones, making it look like the bug was flying on a sunny day. This outfit was a win for all men at award shows, finally showing some real personality!

Kelly Clarkson

White dresses were the moment at the 2024 Grammys. Kelly Clarkson wore a white, off-the-shoulder gown in a classic mermaid style. However, it was her son that stole the show.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are always ones to stand out. Teigen wore a black Sophie couture bodice with a matching miniskirt. The fabric on the miniskirt transformed into a large pink blossom right on her body.

Legend wore a black suit jacket and pants with a satin undershirt that folded into a loose knotted tie at the center of his chest.

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie in Versace was a highlight of the night. Her dress truly looks like it was sculpted for her body, beautifully highlighting her figure without being too revealing.

The shimmery black dress was strapless with fabric pooling ever so slightly below her waist. It was formfitting up top to give her an hourglass figure before falling delicately to the ground. When you look like this in black, who needs to wear Barbie pink?

Emma Stone

Emma Stone

We’ve seen plenty of interesting-shaped dresses in Oscars history, but nobody has pulled it off quite as well as Emma Stone. She wore a custom Louis Vuitton dress paired with high jewelry. The dress was strapless, and the top flared into a structured peplum skirt at her waist.

Stone went on to win the Oscar for Best Actress for her work in Poor Things. In her acceptance speech, she revealed that she had broken the zipper of the dress while dancing to Ryan Gosling’s performance of “I’m Just Ken.” Not to worry, though—she was sewn back into it quickly!

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong’o wore an icy blue Giorgio Armani Privé dress fit with sequins, sparkles, and feathers galore! The form-fitting dress had feathers trailing down at her waist, and the bottom of the gown, and it gave a fun touch to this elegant ensemble.

The gown was a nod to the dress Nyong’o wore to the 2014 Oscars, where she won her first Academy Award for her work in 12 Years a Slave. We love a woman willing to celebrate herself and her accomplishments.

Leah Lewis

Leah Lewis

Leah Lewis looked like she was walking in a delicate, blown glass dress. Although the color was somewhat similar to a flamingo, the structure of the dress should go down in history.

The gown was a high-low dress, showing off her legs and clear heels. The fabric accentuated her shoulders before it gathered and flowed down to a sheer train. This dress is a cotton candy dream!

Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling

Not only did we see our lovely Stereotypical Barbie tonight, but we got the stunning Ken as well! Ryan Gosling wore a black Gucci suit. The suit and the matching button-down had a shimmery trim.

Although they weren’t together, Gosling’s suit matched his Barbie co-star Margot Robbie’s dress quite well. The outfit couldn’t prepare us for Gosling’s later iconic performance of “I’m Just Ken” that rocked the Oscars stage.

Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh

Her gown had gravity-defying floating straps that never touched her shoulders. We think this may be just the beginning of a new fashion trend, as Pugh looked ethereal.

Simu Liu

Simu Liu

Surprise, surprise, another Ken is one of the best dressed! Barbie actor Simu Liu wore a Fendi suit paired with a Jacob & Co. watch and De Beers jewelry.

His black suit jacket was held together with a beautiful silver broach. His monochromatic outfit matched beautifully with his girlfriend Allison Hsu, who he walked the red carpet with, in her all-white ensemble.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande wore a custom Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. The matching pink diamond necklace and dangling earrings were elegant and understated. The dress, however? Not so much.

Grande’s It was supposed to be a nod to her character Glinda, the good witch, in the upcoming movie Wicked. Some people weren't thrilled, but what do you expect. That's a Glinda-approved dress if we've ever seen one!

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s metallic silver Dolce & Gabbana suit looked nothing short of… wrinkly. Seriously, someone get this man an ironing board.

The undershirt was only buttoned at the very button, allowing his chest to show through. But even with a few wrinkles, Dwayne still made it on the Best Dressed list for 2024. He can pull off anything!
