Blac Chyna
For years Blac Chyna has subjected herself to numerous cosmetic surgeries and been well-known for it. But now, she’s looking to change her image, quite literally. Now she’s saying no to all of it: from silicone injections to chest implants, citing her health as her main concern.
Allegedly, the procedure to remove silicone injections from her posterior took over eight hours to complete. She wrote on an Instagram post, “I just want all the ladies out there to know: Do not get silicone shots. You can get sick, you can die, have complications, and all this other crazy stuff.”
Now she’s working on removing the rest. “Enough is enough. It all has to come out,” Chyna said. “Back to the baseline. Honestly, I’m just tired of the look, and it’s just not flattering, it’s not what I look like. It totally changed my face.”
Crystal Hefner
Crystal Hefner had a similar experience with her chest implants that she says were slowly poisoning her, having been diagnosed with toxic mold and Lyme disease. However, several people reached out and suggested that her symptoms were consistent with "BII."
In a Facebook post, Hefner wrote, “My implants took 8 years to make me this sick, so I know it will take time to feel better," adding, “I also have other illnesses to address, but with the toxic bags removed, my immune system can focus on what it needs to." And as of a 2022 Instagram post, she’s indicated that she’s removed everything fake from her body.
Chrissy Teigen
In 2020, Chrissy Teigen finally decided to get her chest implants removed as she shared in an Instagram post that year, showing a picture of her underboob bearing a surgical scar. She captioned the photo with a farewell sentiment to her silicone implants that read:
“I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have []s, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat. ??"
Kylie Jenner
Self-conscious about her naturally thinner lips, Kylie Jenner has subjected herself to lip fillers in order to achieve a look of fuller lips. And it all stemmed back from one of her first kisses. In the series Life With Kylie, she opened up, saying, "I have really small lips, and it was like one of my first kisses, and a guy was like, I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips. But I took that really hard.”
Initially, Kylie Jenner lied to fans and the media about the procedure, but in Complex, she explained that she "didn’t want people to think you had to get your lips done to feel good about yourself." Since then she has reversed the procedure. One fan noticed in a 2018 Instagram photo that she looked like her former self, to which Kylie replied, "I got rid of all my lip filler."
Courtney Cox
Courtney Cox underwent a heavy amount of fillers since he days on Friends, tightening her face and looking anything but natural. A decision she has since come to regret. After backlash from fans, loved ones, and the media alike, Courtney Cox removed her facial fillers back in 2017.
She told New Beauty, "You have no idea because it's gradual until you go, Oh sh[], this doesn't look right. And it's worse in pictures than in real life. I have one friend who was like, Whoa, no more! I thought I haven't done anything in six months. I didn't realize."
Melanie Griffith
Melanie Griffith has had numerous cosmetic surgeries over the years and apparently had not even noticed how drastic they were until people started pointing it out. Taking the comments about her face to heart, she decided to do something about it, going to a different doctor to reverse the procedures.
According to Griffith, "I was so hurt I went to a different doctor and he started dissolving all of this sh[] that this other woman doctor had put in. Hopefully, I look more normal now.” And indeed, she looks a lot better!
Heidi Montag
It’s been over a decade since Heidi Montag made headlines for having undergone ten cosmetic surgeries in a single day. Her complete transformation shocked fans and was subject to criticism. A few years after, she ended up getting her chest implants removed, explaining to People, “They were so heavy they were falling through the skin.”
While she doesn’t regret many of her enhancements, she cautions that it's not a surgery to be taken lightly, telling Paper Magazine, “I died for a minute. With that much surgery, I had to have 24-hour nurse care and Spencer didn't want to leave my side.…My security guards called Spencer and told him, Heidi's heart stopped. She's not going to make it. And I easily could've. Cutting yourself up isn't something I'd recommend.”
Simon Cowell
Simon Cowell has had his share of cosmetic surgery, but he put a stop to it once he could no longer recognize himself. He told The Sun, “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far…I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognize it as me first of all.”
Simon Cowell also revealed in his interview with The Sun, "There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero." He went on to explain it as being out of peer pressure, saying, “There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other." Now he doesn’t do anything to his face beyond getting a facial every now and then.
Ashley Tisdale
Actress and singer of High School Musical, Ashley Tisdale had undergone chest enhancement surgery. She explained in an Instagram post, “Prior to the surgery, I constantly felt my body was less than, and thought this change would make me feel more whole and more secure about myself. And for a short period of time…it did.”
However, after her surgery, she was faced with a slew of problems that she believes were caused by the implants in her body, saying, “But little by little, I began struggling with minor health issues that just were not adding up." That’s when she decided to have them removed.
Anna Faris
Anna Faris has had both lip injections and chest enhancements. While the latter she is perfectly happy about, the lip injections became a whole other story; deciding to wean off of them after a friend pointed out that her lips were becoming too large.
It started after she attempted some small injections in her upper lip. She told The Daily Mail, "I noticed a small difference, but no one else ever said anything. I kept wondering if anybody else even noticed." And from there, she kept going back for more until it was too noticeable.
