Meet the Spouses of Your Favorite Country Stars

Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw is a country musician who's famous for hits like "It's Your Love", "Live Like You Were Dying", and "Just to See You Smile." During his impressive career, McGraw has managed to do just fine for himself--he's one of the best-selling musicians of all time, country music or otherwise. However, he's managed to do just more than have a blockbuster music career.

He also makes up one half of one of the greatest country power couples of all time. He's been married to fellow musician Faith Hill since 1996, and they seem like the perfect match. The two have three daughters together, and, in true rich person style, they even bought a private island together. How romantic.

Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus has done a lot in his life, but his OG claim to fame will always be his early '90s country single, "Achy Breaky Heart." In addition to a country music career, Cyrus has also done a little acting during his day, including on the hit Disney television show Hannah Montana, which starred his daughter Miley Cyrus.

Billy Ray Cyrus met his future wife, Tish Finley, in 1992, but things haven't always been sunshine and roses for the couple since then. While they've initiated divorce proceedings multiple times during their marriage, they always end up changing their minds. Maybe they're staying together for the kids? The two have a total of five children--including two that Billy Ray adopted from Finley's first marriage.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is one of the few American Idol contestants who have managed to make a successful, high-profile career for themselves after appearing on the reality show. She won season four and quickly shot to stardom. Since that time, she's racked up an impressive seven Grammy wins, as well as accolades from within and without the country music world.

Underwood has been married to NHL athlete Mike Fisher since 2010. It turns out that Fisher was a big Underwood fan--the two met for the first time during one of her concerts. The couple have two children together and seem to still be going strong more than a decade later. The family currently lives near Ottawa.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert is a star in the country music world, both as a solo artist and as a member of The Pistol Annies. Her albums and singles, like "Everybody Dies Famous in a Small Town" and "Mama's Broken Heart," have won her three Grammy awards and a Female Performer of the Year award by the Academy of Country Music.

Lambert was married to fellow country musician Blake Shelton for four years, but the couple divorced in 2015. Shortly after their divorce, Shelton began dating his The Voice, co-star Gwen Stefani.  Afterward, Lambert went on to date NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin, and the two married in a secret ceremony in 2019.

Luke Combs

Luke Combs

Luke Combs has not had the longest career out of all the country musicians on this list, but he's definitely headed for the top. Two years after releasing his debut album in 2017, Combs released his second album, What You See is What You Get, which topped the charts and led to two Grammy nominations for the budding country musician.

And Combs isn't just a music newbie--he's a newbie to the world of married life, too. He and his wife, Nicole Hocking, began dating in 2016 and were married on August 1st, 2020 in a small, private ceremony in Florida. The two met before Combs' rise to fame, and Hocking has been by his side ever since.

Keith Urban

Keith Urban

You don't hear about many country musicians from New Zealand, but Keith Urban is one country Kiwi who's been at the top of his game since the late 1990s. In the time since then, he's managed to release an impressive 11 albums that produced more than 35 chart-topping singles, as well as several Grammy award wins.

Urban found love down under when he met Aussie actress Nicole Kidman--whom he married in 2006. Even though Urban was struggling with drug addiction in the early years of their relationship, Kidman has stuck with him through thick and thin. The couple have two daughters together, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Justin Moore

Justin Moore

In the 2010s, Justin Moore took the country music world by storm with an impressive rise in popularity and air time. Some of his biggest hits include "Small Town USA," "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away," and "The Ones That Didn't Make It Back Home." All in all, this country superstar has managed to have an impressive sixteen singles on the Billboard country charts.

But Moore has found more than just stardom--he also found love in Louisiana when he married his wife, Kate, in the city of Houma in 2007. The two met all the way back in high school during a senior trip to Panama City Beach, and they've been together ever since. The couple have four children together.

Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton

At this point, Dolly Parton is so much more than just a country music star--as if that wasn't enough! She's done a little bit of everything from acting to running businesses to philanthropy. However, we'll always love her as one of the most successful and memorable country queens of the 1970s. Her hits like "I Will Always Love You" and "Jolene" will be classics forever.

While she might be one of the most recognizable celebrities of all time, Dolly Parton's husband, Carl Thomas Dean, doesn't like the limelight nearly as much as she does and rarely appears in public. But that doesn't seem to have hindered this half-celebrity couple in any way. The two have amazingly been married since 1966 and are hopefully just as in love now as they've always been.

Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley was one of the first country stars of the new millenium, when he appeared on the scene in the early 2000s. During his almost twenty years in the industry, he's released nine studio albums and stormed the charts with singles like "What Was I Thinkin'," "Come a Little Closer," and "Somewhere on a Beach." While he's been nominated for a Grammy almost 15 times, he's so far not managed to snag one.

Bentley shocked the country music world when he eloped in Mexico, in 2008, marrying his wife, Cassidy Black. This was three years after the couple met in - you guessed it - Mexico. The two have three children together and live in Nashville. Their oldest daughter, Evie, makes an appearance on Bentley's 2012 single, "Thinking of You."

Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood first rose to country music prominence in 1991 when her single, "She's in Love with the Boy" appeared on the charts. After a successful career in the industry, Yearwood made a pivot in her career. These days, you're just as likely to see her on the Food Network hosting her show as you are seeing her perform.

Trisha Yearwood is yet another on this list that's currently married to another country music star. She's been married to Garth Brooks since 2005. Once, Brooks remarked that the first time he met Yearwood, he felt "that feeling when you just meet your wife." The two began dating after the end of their previous marriages. The couple allegedly tries to spend as little time apart as possible, sometimes only being separated for five days out of the year.

Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan

Luke Bryan finally got his chance to shine in the spotlight, but even before he was selling out concerts, he was working behind the scenes of the country music world, writing songs for stars like Travis Tritt. Since those humble beginnings, Bryan has produced an impressive ten albums that contained an equally impressive 23 number-one hit songs.

Bryan has been married to Caroline Boyer since 2006. However, their relationship goes back almost a decade. The two met in college in the late 1990s, and despite a breakup, the two finally found their way back to each other. The couple currently have two sons together, and they seem to be closer than ever.

John Shearer/WireImage/Getty Images

Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean

Jason Aldean has produced an impressive 35 singles during his country career--22 of which have hit number one on the charts. And we can't forget about his platinum album...or his double platinum album...or his QUADRUPLE platinum album. Needless to say, Aldean has done just fine for himself in the country music business. But in the world of love? It's more of a mixed bag.

Jason Aldean's first marriage ended poorly after he was caught with American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. However, his subsequent marriage to Kerr seems to be faring better. Can you really call yourself if a country star if your romantic history doesn't read like a country song? They've been together since 2015 and have two kids, Memphis and Navy, together.

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Getty Images

Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton has been in the country music business for a full two decades now. Some musicians hope for just one big hit, but during his career, Shelton has managed to release 28 chart-topping singles. None of his nine Grammy nominations have led to an actual win, but at this point in his career, who needs more accolades? More recently, he's most well known for his role as a judge on the reality singing competition The Voice

Blake Shelton hasn't officially married his fiancee, Gwen Stefani, but they're getting close. They've been together since 2015 and announced their engagement in October of 2020. Unfortunately, Shelton's relationship with Stefani was what ultimately led to the end of his previous marriage with fellow country musician Miranda Lambert. We're sure she's just thrilled for the happy couple.

Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley

During his twenty year country music career, Brad Paisley has literally never released an album that's done worse than being certified gold. The man literally can't seem to write a bad song. He's been racking up accolades since 1999 when his debut album released, and he doesn't show any signs of stopping anytime soon.

Brad Paisley knew his wife, actress Kimberly Williams, long before she knew him. As a teenager, Paisley had seen her appear in Father of the Bride and was smitten. The two started dating in 2001 and were eventually married in 2003. Things don't normally work out when you fall in love with a celebrity you don't know, but sometimes all it takes is a little charm...and a successful entertainment career yourself.

Maren Morris

Maren Morris

Maren Morris is a country star who knows what it's like to be on stage and behind the scenes. In the early 2010s, she was writing songs for big-name acts, including Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson. However, she's also released two albums of her own, which led to successful singles like "My Church" and "The Middle." Her career got a major bump in 2021 when she was featured on a song in a Taylor Swift album.

Maren Morris is another musician in an all-country couple. She's been married to fellow singer Ryan Hurd since 2018. The two met back in Nashville in 2013 when they were both songwriters for Tim McGraw, which is a very romantic and VERY country way to meet.  The couple welcomed their first child, Hayes, in 2020.

LeAnne Rimes

LeAnne Rimes

LeAnne Rimes made history when she released her first major single at only age 13--a cover of Bill Mack's song "Blue." Since then, she's managed to release ten studio albums featuring more than 40 singles that have hit the charts worldwide. And as if a country music career weren't enough, Rimes is also an accomplished author, with two novels and two children's books under her belt.

LeAnne Rimes' first marriage ended in a big cheating scandal--which eventually led to her second and current marriage. After she had an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, both her and Cibrian's then-spouses filed for divorce. The two later married in 2011. It's not a great way to start (or end) a relationship, but here's hoping that things continue to work out for the new couple!

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Getty Images

Martina McBride

Martina McBride

Martina McBride has been releasing music since 1992, but her big breakthrough hit was probably her 1995 album, Wild Angels, which featured the hit single of the same name. All in all, McBride has released thirteen studio albums during her career, including eight that were all certified gold or higher.

Martina McBride married her husband, John, in 1988. After the couple began to have children, McBride started to step away from the country music spotlight so she could give her kids a normal childhood. That being said, McBride has still managed to squeeze in a new song or a tour here and there, but it's clear that being a mom comes first for her.

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic, Inc/Getty Images

Vince Gill

Vince Gill

Vince Gill has been making music since the 1970s, and he's managed to become one of the biggest names in country music of all time. There's probably not a country music award out there that Gill hasn't won at some point in his career! And in an interesting twist for this country musician, he began serving as lead guitarist in the Eagles in 2017.

Vince Gill might not be part of a country music power couple, but he's definitely part of a major musical duo. He married his current wife, musician Amy Grant, in the year 2000. The couple became friends after bonding over their troubled marriages at the time, and that eventually led to love for them. Before his marriage to Grant, Gill was married to musician Janis Oliver for almost two decades.

Shania Twain

Shania Twain

Shania Twain became one of the hottest names in country in the '90s and managed to successfully cross over as a pop artist. Hopefully Taylor Swift has sent her a thank you card and a fruit basket for making that a viable career choice. Since her start, Twain has managed to sell a jaw-dropping 100 million records, making her the best-selling female country musician of all time.

Shania Twain may be Canadian, but she has had some troubled romances like a true country star. Her first marriage ended after she caught her husband and best friend having an affair. However, things took a real turn when she announced she was marrying Frédéric Thiébaud in 2010--who just happened to be the ex-husband of her cheating best friend.

Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson

Forget country music--Alan Jackson is one of the best-selling musicians of all time in any genre. With multiple Grammy wins and 35 chart-topping singles, we're not at all surprised by his success. His career spans all the way back to 1989, but he still seems to be going strong, releasing a new single in 2017 and announcing plans for an upcoming studio album (his 17th in total).

Alan Jackson has had one of the longest marriages on this list. He married his high school sweetheart Denise in 1979. Although the couple briefly separated in the '90s due to Jackson's infidelity, they've since reconciled and are still going strong. The two of them have three daughters together--Mattie, Alexandra, and Dani.

Wynonna Judd

Wynonna Judd

You can't talk about country music in the '90s without at least mentioning Wynonna Judd. She was originally known as one part of the mother-daughter duo, The Judds, but when the group disbanded in 1991, she embarked on a successful solo career that included hit singles like "No One Else on Earth" and "I Saw the Light."

Wynonna Judd has had several failed marriages, but it seems like the third time's a charm. She's been married to Cactus Moser since 2012, and the couple have been together ever since. Moser himself has had a bit of a country music career, with his most famous gig as a drummer for the country band Highway 101. Musicians sure seem to love to marry other musicians.

Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt didn't release his debut album until 2014, but before then, he was already well known in the country music world as a writer for big-name stars like Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney, and Keith Urban. Since his big break, Hunt has released a second album in 2020 and has racked up numerous award wins and nominations, including multiple Grammy nominations.

Sam Hunt had been dating Hannah Lee Fowler off and on for years before they decided to make things official. Although the couple began their relationship in 2008, they wouldn't marry until 2017. Like any good musician, Hunt used his relationship as source material for some of his songs. Fowler inspired his 2014 album, Montevallo, and the couple's relationship was also referenced in the song "Drinkin' Too Much."

Toby Keith

Toby Keith

Toby Keith's breakthrough hit was 1999's "How Do You Like Me Now?" but he had been in the country music game almost a decade when that song was released. During the course of his career, he's managed to release almost 20 studio albums, which included 20 number one hits like "Beer for My Horses" and "Should've Been a Cowboy."

Toby Keith married his wife Tricia Lucus in 1984--long before his country music fame. However, it doesn't seem to have negatively impacted their relationship because the two have managed to stay married all these years. The two have three children together--including an adopted daughter and one that followed in her dad's footsteps as a country musician.

Jeff Kravitz/ACMA2018/FilmMagic, Inc/Getty Images

Chris Stapleton

Chris Stapleton

Chris Stapleton has performed as both a solo act and with country bands, but his most impressive accomplishments definitely come from his songwriting abilities. At this point, he's written a whopping 170+ songs, including several number one hits for big-name country stars like Kenny Chesney and George Strait. He's also the only country musician to make an appearance on HBO's Game of Thrones!

Chris Stapleton married his wife Morgane in 2007 when they were working for different publishers, and the two share a lot in common. Both are songwriters with impressive credits from some of country music's biggest names. Chris and Morgane have five kids together, including a set of twins, and the family currently lives in Nashville.

Naomi Judd

Naomi Judd

Wynonna isn't the only famous Judd in the country music world--you can't forget her mother and fellow The Judds member, Naomi. As a mother-daughter duo, Naomi and Wynonna had an impressive 20 number one hits and managed to snag five Grammy awards. She's taken it easy since The Judds disbanded in the '90s, but with a track record like that, who can blame her?

Naomi Judd has decades of marriage experience under her belt. She's been married to singer Larry Strickland since 1989. When the two originally met, they bonded over their similar upbringings--both Naomi and Larry came from large, working-class families. However, Strickland isn't the father of Naomi's two famous daughters. They came from previous relationships she had.

Kris Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson

There aren't many people working in the country music industry with more years of experience or street cred than Kris Kristofferson. He's worked with big-time stars like Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash and was the writer of some truly iconic hits--such as "Me and Bobby McGee," "Help Me Make It Through the Night," and "For the Good Times."

Kris Kristofferson has been in the music game for a long time, and he's spent just about as much time in the marriage game as well--though not always married to the same woman. After two failed marriages, Kristofferson married Lisa Meyers in 1983, and the two have been together ever since. The couple have five children together, and Kristofferson also has three other kids from previous relationships.

Lee Ann Womack

Lee Ann Womack

Crossover country hits were all the rage in the early 2000s, and no musician did it better than Lee Ann Womack. Her single, "I Hope You Dance," reached the top of the Billboard country charts while also climbing to number fifteen on the Hot 100. She didn't manage to nab a Grammy for her hit, but she did finally score a win a few years later thanks to a collaboration with Willie Nelson.

Lee Ann Womack's first marriage to fellow country muician Jason Sellers didn't work out. The two met in college in 1990 but they, unfortunately, were divorced by 1996. However, her second one still seems to be going strong. She married music producer Frank Liddell in 1998. It should go without saying that he's worked as her producer before! The couple also has a daughter together.

Jeff Vespa/WireImage/Getty Images

George Strait

George Strait

George Strait will forever and always be the "King of Country." His country music career began in 1980, and his fame has done nothing but rise ever since. In addition to numerous platinum records, number one hits and awards, Strait also has the distinction of being the performer with the largest indoor concert in North America.

Marrying your high school sweetheart might seem like a pie-in-the-sky fantasy, but it worked for George Strait. He married his wife Norma in 1971, and the couple has been going strong ever since. They even managed to make things work during Strait's time in the Army--he enlisted the same year the two tied the knot.

Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage/Getty Images

Eric Church

Eric Church

Eric Church arrived on the country music scene in 2005, and it didn't take much time for him to go from relatively unknown to touring with big stars like Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts. During his impressive career, he's released eight albums and racked up more award nominations and wins than he can probably keep up with.

Eric Church has been married to music publisher Katherine Blasingame since 2008. In true musician style, at the ceremony, Church performed a song that he had written for Blasingame, "You Make It Look So Easy." The couple have two sons together, Tennessee Hawkins and Boone McCoy. Fun fact, the whole family made an appearance on CMT's show, Cribs

Jason Davis/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett

Country musician Thomas Rhett has only been releasing albums since 2013, but in that time he's already managed to snag a few Grammy nominations! He's also released almost twenty number one hits on the charts, including singles like "It Goes Like This", "Beer Can't Fix", and "Die a Happy Man."

Thomas Rhett has been married to his wife Lauren Akins since 2012. She and his three daughters have been mentioned in his music before, including the song "Life Changes." The whole family was also featured in the music video for his song "Look What God Gave Her." The couple will have a house full of budding country stars before they know it!

Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson’s romantic life has been rough, mostly because Nelson himself has admitted that he isn’t easy to live with. The man has been married four times, but this one has stuck! Nelson found love in Annie Marie D’Angelo, and the two tied the knot in 1991. Years later, she’s still the love of his life.

Nelson met D’Angelo when she was a makeup artist on the 1986 film Stagecoach. She’d stood by his side through thick and thin (and things have certainly been rocky with all his drug arrests). With the two combined, they have a total of six kids, but most of them are grown at this point.

Charles Kelley

Charles Kelley

Charles Kelley is most famous as the founder and frontman of the country band Lady Antebellum. Over the years Kelley and the rest of the band have released hit after hit, with some of their biggest singles being "Need You Now" and "Just A Kiss." Aside from the band, Kelley has also had a successful solo career.

Charles Kelley is currently married to music industry representative Cassie McConnell. The two were wed in 2009 during a beautiful destination wedding in the Bahamas. Since then, the happy couple has welcomed a son into the world in 2016, after a public struggle with fertility issues in their past.

Jennifer Nettles

Jennifer Nettles

Jennifer Nettles is probably best known as one half of the country duo Sugarland. However, before her time in that group, she was the frontwoman for groups like Soul Miner's Daughter and the Jennifer Nettles Band. During her time as a musician, she's managed to rack up award after award from organizations like the ACM and the CMA.

Since 2011, Jennifer Nettles has been married to Just Miller after dating him for two years. The couple announced the birth of their son in 2012. Before this marriage, Nettles had wed once before to Todd Van Sickle. The couple got together in 1998 but eventually called it quits on their relationship in 2007.

Clint Black

Clint Black

Clint Black has been dominating the country music world since the 1980s. In his long career, he's had countless hit singles as well as ten Grammy nominations and one win. Needless to say, he's done more than okay for himself. In addition to music, Black has also made a few appearances in TV shows and movies.

Clint Black is clearly a man who likes to keep his private life out of the public eye. The media didn't even know about his relationship with actress Lisa Hartman until the two announced their engagement in 1990. The next year, the couple made things official and tied the knot in Texas.

Jo Dee Messina

Jo Dee Messina

Jo Dee Messina might not be the hottest country stars these days, but in the late 1990s and early 2000s, she was a major player on the scene. Her first big hit was her 1996 single "Heads Carolina, Tails California," and over time, six of her singles made it all the way to the top of the country charts.

Jo Dee Messina has been married since 2007 to Chris Deffenbaugh, whom she wedded in Nashville. Since that time, the couple has had two sons, one in 2009 and the other in 2012. Before her relationship with Deffenbaugh, Messina was engaged to her road manager Don Muzquiz, but they eventually broke things off.

Rhett Akins

Rhett Akins

When it comes to Rhett Akins, country music is a family affair. After his own successful music career, his son Thomas Rhett set out to make a name for himself in the country music world as well. During his career, Akins has released fourteen singles that made it onto the country music charts; although his last big hit was all the way back in 2006.

Rhett Akins's current wife is Sonya Mansfield, and the two have been married since 2017. In 2020, they welcomed a son into the world. Akins' son Thomas Rhett was from his previous marriage to Paige Braswell. The couple got married in 1989, but they eventually filed for divorce.

Cody Johnson

Cody Johnson

Cody Johnson is not the most established star in the country music world, but in his short career, he's managed to make quite a name for himself. Since 2006, Johnson has released seven albums that have produced five singles that made it onto the country music charts, his most famous being "On My Way to You."

It's not clear when Johnson tied the knot with his wife Brandi, but it's clear the couple are deeply in love. Since their marriage, the two have welcomed two daughters into the world, Clara Mae and Cori. When asked about his happy family, Johnson had this to say: "If I lost all this, it doesn't define me. I'm not going to go home and cry about how I don't have my music career anymore. My priorities are straight: my wife and my kids."

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic/Getty Images

Brett Young

Brett Young

These days, Brett Young is a country musician, but he didn't start down this path until a college baseball injury left him in need of something new to do. Since his debut album released in 2017, Young has had plenty of success, with multiple singles reaching the top ten of the country charts and millions in sales.

Brett and his wife Taylor Mills met all the way back in 2008 but didn't announce their engagement until 2018. Later that year, the couple officially tied the knot. Their wedding was a small, sudden affair. Mills wrote, "Brett was home from the road for one day. We walked from our house down the street to the Rhinestone Wedding Chapel on music row in Nashville and just like that, a sweet little man married us."

Ronnie Dunn

Ronnie Dunn

Ronnie Dunn makes up one-half of the iconic country music duo Brooks & Dunn. From 1990 until 2010, Dunn and his musical partner entertained audiences with classics like "Red Dirt Road," "My Maria," and "Hard Workin' Man." Even after the breakup of the group, Dunn has continued to have a successful solo career as well.

Dunn's life as a married man got started around the same time his musical career took off. He married his wife Janine in May of 1990, and the two have been together ever since. Since their marriage, the couple has had one daughter (as well as children from a previous marriage) and plenty of grandkids to keep them on their toes.

Travis Tritt

Travis Tritt

Travis Tritt has been in the country music business since the 1980s and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. His big hits like "Help Me Hold On," "Can I Trust You With My Heart," and "Foolish Pride" have all topped the charts and turned him into one of the most successful country musicians of all time.

Tritt married his current wife, Theresa Nelson, in April of 1997, and the happy couple has two sons together. Before his marriage to Nelson, Tritt was married twice before. His first marriage was to his high school sweetheart Karen Ryon, and his second was to Jodi Barnett. Neither marriage lasted very long.

Dwight Yoakam

Dwight Yoakam

Dwight Yoakam is a country star with an impressive resume. He's recorded more than 20 albums, had more than 30 singles on the country music charts, and has sold more than 30 million records in his decades-long career. Interestingly enough, Yoakam also holds the distinction of having the most Tonight Show appearances of any musician.

Yoakam began dating photographer Emily Joyce in 2010, but the couple didn't officially tie the knot until March of 2020. Only a few months after that, they welcomed their first son, Dalton, in August of 2020. Despite the age difference between the 64 year old musician and the 37 year old photographer, they seem to be a happy couple!

Patty Loveless

Patty Loveless

Patty Loveless has been a part of the country music world since the 1980s. During her long and successful career, she's released nineteen albums, sold millions of records, and had five number one hits on the charts--including "Timber, I'm Falling in Love," "Blame It On Your Heart," and "Lonely Too Long."

With a last name like "Loveless" you might expect this country singer to be a spinster, but nothing could be further from the truth. She's been married since 1989 to record producer Emory Gordy Jr. Clearly, this is one heck of a musical couple, and Gordy even worked on her famous, comeback album Only What I Feel

Acey Harper/The LIFE Images Collection/Getty Images

Deana Carter

Deana Carter

Deana Carter has released seven albums spawning numerous hits on the country music charts, but she's probably most famous for the massive hit "Strawberry Wine," which was the first single off her debut album. Carter took several years off during the late 2000s to raise her son, but in the mid 2010s she made her glorious comeback.

Deana Carter has been married twice during her life. Currently, she's married to Jim McPhail, and the two have been together since they tied the knot in 2018. Before that, she was married to Brandon Malone. The two married in 2009, but by 2012, the couple had filed for divorce.

Tyler Hubbard

Tyler Hubbard

Even if you're a fan of country music, you might not recognize the name Tyler Hubbard. But you almost certainly are familiar with his country duo Florida Georgia Line. Since their debut in 2012, Florida Georgia Line has polarized listeners with their contentious style of "bro-country" that blends traditional country music with elements of hip hop.

Hubbard began dating his future wife Hayley Strommel in 2013, and by 2014, he had popped the question--and, more importantly, she said yes. A year later, in July of 2015, the two officially tied the knot. Since their marriage, the couple has welcomed three children into the world--Olivia, Luca, and Atlas.

Brian Kelley

Brian Kelley

Brian Kelley makes up one-half of the bro-country superstars, Florida Georgia Line. Despite being so heavily associated with the duo, Kelley has actually begun to pursue a solo country music career. In 2021, with the blessing of his music partner, he announced that he would be opening his own record label in addition to releasing a solo album soon.

When it comes to marriage, Kelley kept his pretty hush hush. The secret wedding to longtime girlfriend Brittney Cole took place in Nashville in 2013 and was a pretty big surprise to fans. While Cole might not be as musically inclined as her husband, the two have their own business together--a clothing company called Tribe Kelley.

Kix Brooks

Kix Brooks

Kix Brooks makes up one-half of the legendary country duo, Brooks and Dunn. For twenty years, he and Ronnie Dunn have entertained audiences with big hits like "Hard Workin' Man," "My Maria", and "Ain't Nothing 'bout You". After the breakup of the group, Brooks has continued a successful solo country career.

Brooks has been married to his wife Barbara for almost forty years! The two actually met before his rise to fame, all the way back in 1979. Despite a little mishap of oversleeping on his wedding day, the two have been a happy couple ever since they tied the knot back in August of 1981.

Rodney Atkins

Rodney Atkins

Rodney Atkins' country music career really took off in 2006 after the release of his hit singles, "If You're Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows)" and "Watching You." However, it took him a solid decade of hard work to get to that point. Since then, he's sold millions and has even been nominated six times by the CMA.

In 2013, Atkins married his second wife, singer Rose Falcon, and the couple has two sons together. Before this, he was married once before to Tammy Jo McDonald. However, after a 2011 incident where Atkins was arrested for allegedly smothering his ex-wife with a pillow, the couple filed for divorce.

Crystal Gale

Crystal Gale

Crystal Gale might not be the most famous country musician in her family--that honor goes to her sister, Loretta Lynn--but she's done just fine for herself in the music business. Known for her striking, floor-length black hair, Gale became a crossover sensation in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Gale's marriage to her husband Bill Gatzimos is actually even longer than her music career. The two married in 1971 and have been together ever since. During that time, the couple had two children, and her now-grown son even helped produce her 2019 album, You Don't Know Me: Classic Country

Rosanne Cash

Rosanne Cash

Rosanne Cash was basically destined to be a country star. When your father is legendary musician Johnny Cash, you pretty much don't have any choice in the matter. While she began as a country singer, she started to experience crossover success in the pop world during the 1980s--around the time her hit "Seven Year Ache" topped the charts.

Cash is another country star on this list with a decades-long marriage. She tied the knot with her second husband, John Leventhal, all the way back in 1995. Before that, she was married Rodney Crowell from 1979 until their divorce in 1992--marking another long relationship for the singer.

Marty Stuart

Marty Stuart

Marty Stuart has one of the longest tenures of anyone in country music--the legendary musician began working in the industry all the way back in 1968. During that time, he's worked with Johnny Cash and Lester Flatt and has over 20 albums with more than 30 singles that made the charts.

Since July of 1997, Marty Stuart has been married to fellow musician Connie Smith. However, the two have known each other since Stuart was only twelve years old. But this wasn't Stuart's first marriage. Before this one, he was married to Cindy Cash, daughter of Johnny Cash, from 1983 until 1988.

Randy Travis

Randy Travis

Randy Travis had a decades-long career in country music that was tragically cut short by a massive stroke he suffered in 2013. Despite continuing health difficulties, the musician has still made appearances here and there all the way up to 2019. He even released a new single in 2020 called "Fool's Love Affair"--a song that he had actually written near the beginning of his career.

Randy has been married to his current wife Mary Travis since they tied the knot in March of 2015. The couple got engaged before Travis suffered his stroke, and Mary helped the country musician through his struggles. Before this marriage, Travis was wed once before to Elizabeth Hatcher. The two divorced after almost two decades together.
