This year you should step up your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with some themed drinks. Below is a list of six of our favorite St. Patty’s day drinks.
The criteria for making this list? The drink had to be green or have the word “Irish” in it. Also note that the intended brands of alcohol are included for some recipes, but you can substitute when and where you want—it’s your St. Patty’s Day!
Green Beer
- 1 light-colored beer
- 1-3 drops of green food coloring
Pour the beer into a glass, add the food coloring , then stir.
Irish Car Bomb
- ½ shot Jameson Irish Whiskey
- ½ shot Bailey’s Irish Cream
- ¾ pint Guinness Stout
Drop the shot of Bailey’s and Irish whiskey into Guinness, then chug.
Shamrock Juice
- ½ ounce white tequila
- ½ ounce light rum
- ½ ounce gin
- ½ ounce vodka
- 1 ounce Blue Curacao
- 4 ounces fresh squeezed orange juice
Pour the mixed ingredients into a cup of ice and enjoy. Garnish with cherries and an orange wheel if available.
Irish Cola
- 1 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1 ounce Irish Whiskey
- 4 ounces Cola
Mix alcohol, shake in ice, pour into glass, then add cola.
Emerald Rain
- ½ ounce orange juice
- 1 ounce vodka
- 2 ounces Hpnotiq
Shake thoroughly with ice and lime, then pour into a chilled glass. Garnish with a lime wheel if available.
Irish Hammer
- 1 part Jack Daniels
- 1 part Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1 part Irish Mist
Mix and shoot.
