The couple never married and never decided to have children, which has been rumored to be one of the seemingly many causes of their breakup - Jennifer reportedly was open to the idea of starting a family, but she was (allegedly) too busy taking care of Jon.

Everything happened super fast for Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger: They met in 2013 after writing a song together and married just six months later. During their two-year marriage, Avril battled Lyme disease and Chad underwent vocal surgery. Apparently their struggles were too much, and they announced their split in September 2015.

Gwen and Gavin, another one of Hollywood's longest-lasting Hollywood couples, were married for 13 years (together for 20 years total) and have three children together. They announced their separation in August.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick called it quits in July 2015, after eight years of dating. They have three children together, but their ups and downs as a couple were well-documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She didn't want to get married, and he didn't want to stop partying.
Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo
Nick and Olivia met at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant, where Nick was performing and co-presenting and Olivia was passing on her crown (she was Miss Universe 2012). They had a very public relationship, and Nick's insecurities were on full display in his 2014 hit "Jealous." The two split in early June, and Nick has since been spotted with several other ladies, like his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Ariana Grande and Big Sean
Ariana and Big Sean ended their eight-month relationship in June, most likely due to their busy careers (as well as Ariana's on-stage PDA-filled performance with Justin Bieber during a tour). The ex-lovers did make quite the team in the music department, collaborating on Ariana's hit songs "Right There" and "Best Mistake," so hopefully they'll reunite at some point.

Ben and Jennifer, aka one of Hollywood's longest-reigning power couples, ended their 10-year marriage in June. Despite the rumors that Ben had an affair with their kids' former nanny, the two stars have managed to remain friendly, even going on vacations with their three children together.

The King and Queen of country music announced their separation in July 2015, after four years of marriage (10 years together total). The couple doesn't have any children together, but they did make some beautiful music together - they wrote and recorded "Over You" together, and they often visited each other on tour to perform duets together (montages on YouTube will be easy to find, I'm sure).

Reba and her husband/manager Narvel called it quits in August after 26 years of marriage and 35 years working together. Despite their divorce, Reba and Narvel have devoted themselves to making their professional relationship work - Narvel will continue to be Reba's manager.
