Commercials
Commercials for the Super Bowl are the most expensive advertisements of the whole year. How expensive? Well the average price of a ticket to the Super Bowl would only cover 1/30th of one second of a commercial! For those that aren't math-inclined, that works out to commercials costing at minimum $150,000 a second.
TV
Why go to the Super Bowl and pay thousands of dollars to sit in merely adequate seats, and then just watch the action on those montrous big replay screens in the stadium. Instead, you could take that money and buy a state-of-the-art 90-inch LED TV for your living room. (If you scoot close enough, it will seem just as big as those replay scoreboards).
Gym
Did you know that Super Bowl weekend is the biggest selling days of the year for both chicken wings and pizza, individually. The Super Bowl has become one of America's biggest food-centered occasions, along with Thanksgiving and Christmas. But the food usually isn't very healthy. Instead of packing on the pounds, you could take the money for a Super Bowl ticket and pay for 42 year's worth of gym memberships.
