Baker Mayfield

For a second consecutive year, Baker Mayfield wore cleats that represent the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation, which was founded in August 2023. The foundation is partnering with the International Justice Mission to raise money that will go towards cokmbatting human trafficking, violence, and exploitation, as well as to provide helpful resources to survivors. The "be" of the phrase "Free To Be Free" on the shoe is the foundation's logo, representing the first letters of each founder's names.
The Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation, at large, has a misison based on three principles: success, resilience, and strength. Their stated goal is to help people to become successful no matter any difficult circumstances they may face. The foundation has supported partners that include the Early Larning Coalition of Hillsborough County, Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay, Babycycle Diaper Bank, and Space Coast Jr./Sr. High School Football.
Drafted first overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, Mayfield brought energy and hope to a struggling franchise, breaking the NFL rookie record for touchdown passes (27) in 2018. He helped lead the Browns to their first playoff appearance in 18 years during the 2020 season, including a postseason victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, inconsistency and injuries hampered his 2021 campaign, and he was traded to the Carolina Panthers in 2022. After an up-and-down tenure in Carolina, he had a brief but notable stint with the Los Angeles Rams, where he impressed with a dramatic comeback win just days after joining the team. In 2023, Mayfield signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, looking to revitalize his career as a starter.
C.J. Stroud

C.J. Stroud wore red, white, and blue designed cleats for his two causes: Single Mothers Empowerment and Awareness for Children with Incarcerated Parents. Both of these causes are personal for Stroud, whose father is serving 38+ years in prison under California's three strikes law for multiple crimes. Because of his father's absense, Stroud's mother raised him and his three siblings as a single mother.
The shoe also has a verse from the Bible as part of its design. Printed near the toe is "James 1:17." That verse reads: "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not changed like shifting shadows."
C.J. Stroud's NFL career is off to an impressive start after being selected second overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. In his rookie season, he turned heads with standout performances, showcasing his ability to make big plays while limiting turnovers. He was the youngest starting quarterback to win a playoff game at the age of 22. His second season is just as impressive, with his season-total stats nearly matching his performance from last year.
Drake Maye

Drake Maye's shoes for the My Cause My Cleats campaign have a colorful interpretation of the Special Olympics logo. He chose the cause after meeting 2 local brothers (Nick and Brett Johnson) who will be competing in flag football at the 2026 Special Olympics. The shoes are a partnership with UnitedHealthcare and also feature the signatures of the brothers on each shoe.
Drake Maye was the third overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft and was selected by the New England Patriots. Maye was considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2024 draft, known for his size, arm strength, and athleticism. Despite a strong preseason, he began his rookie season as a backup to veteran Jacoby Brissett. Since then, however, he has gone on to start 9 games of the 2024 season.
Josh Allen

Josh Allen chose the Patricia Allen Fund for his My Cause My Cleats campaign. The fund supports critical care teams at the Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo. The cleats themselves were designed by two patients at the children's hospital, Blake and Bella. Together, they used the Amazon Web Services generative AI app to build digital versions of the cleats that were then made a reality.
Josh Allen has become a prominent figure in the NFL since being drafted 7th overall by the Buffalo Bills in 2018. Initially criticized for his accuracy, Allen has developed into one of the league's most dynamic quarterbacks, known for his exceptional arm strength, mobility, and ability to make incredible plays. He led the Bills to their first AFC East title in 25 years in 2020 and has consistently brought them to the playoffs, solidifying his status as their franchise quarterback.
Trevor Lawrence

This year, Trevor Lawrence chose the Wolfson Children's Hospital, a nationally ranked non-profit pediatric hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This year, Trevor and his wife Marissa are ambassadors for the hospital and both have made numrous visits to to visit patients. The shoe design features the hospital logo and is repeated in the 3-lined Adidas logo on the side of the shoe. The drawings on the shoe are inspired by the child patients of the hospital.
Trevor Lawrence entered the NFL with immense hype as the consensus first overall pick in the 2021 draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. After a difficult rookie season marked by instability within the organization, Lawrence showed significant progress in his second year under new head coach Doug Pederson. He led the Jaguars to an AFC South title and a dramatic playoff victory, showcasing the talent and potential that made him such a coveted prospect.
Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels chose St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as the cleat design for his My Cause My Cleat initiative. The yellow shoes feature the image of former LSU teammate Greg Brooks, Jr. who was diagnosed with a rare aggresive brain cancer in 2023. Brooks, Jr. has been performing rehabilitation at St. Jude following surgery to remove the brain tumor. Greg's name is also written near the toe of the cleats.
Jayden Daniels's NFL career is still just beginning as he was drafted 2nd overall by the Washington Commanders in the 2024 NFL Draft. Daniels was a Heisman Trophy winner in college at LSU, known for his dual-threat ability as a passer and runner. Daniels has had a strong start to his rookie season, showcasing his accuracy and playmaking ability. He's already setting records and leading the Commanders to victories. He has started every game so far during his rookie 2024 NFL season.
Evan Engram

Evan Engram's choice this year for the My Cause My Cleats campaign is the North Florida School of Special Education. The cleats feature a stylized interpretation of the Jaguar's print and teal color, along with the Jaguar logo and the initials of the school. Engram is a regular volunteer at the school. During the game in which he was wearing the cleats, Engram was penalized for unnecessary roughness against the Houston Texans (retaliation for a late hit on the Jaguar's quarterback Trevor Lawrence). He was also later fined $11,255 by the NFL.
When Jaguar fans learned of the fine, they in turn made donations of $17 (Engram's number) to the North Florida School of Special Education. When Engram heard about the donations, he added an additional amount bringing the total to $10,000. The school then accounced they would use the money to create the Even Engram Scholarship.
Evan Engram entered the NFL as a first-round pick (23rd overall) by the New York Giants in the 2017 draft, known for his receiving ability and athleticism as a tight end. While he showed flashes of potential in New York, his time there was marked by inconsistency and some struggles with drops. In 2022, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he experienced a career resurgence. He became a key target for Trevor Lawrence, setting career highs in receptions and receiving yards.
Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins chose the Boys & Girls Club for his My Cause My Cleats campaign this year. He worked with Soles by Sir artist Marcus Rivero to help design a unique shoe that wasn't just the Boys and Girls Club logo. The result looks like an airbrushed paiting of a football fied and lemonade stand near a building, the scene of a Boys & Girls Club fundraising event. The second shoe has the logo of the organization on one side and a pizza party (a perennial kid favorite) on the opposite side.
Kirk Cousins has carved out a solid career as a consistent and reliable NFL quarterback since being drafted in the 4th round by Washington in 2012. After initially serving as a backup, he took over the starting role and demonstrated his accuracy and ability to make smart decisions. In 2018, Cousins signed a lucrative free agent contract with the Minnesota Vikings, where he continued to put up consistent passing numbers and lead the team to playoff appearances. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons beginning with the 2024 season.
Olamide Zaccheaus

Olamide Zaccheaus's organization for the My Cause My Cleats initiative is the Mothers United of Maryland. The non-profit provides services for single mothers, such as educational trainings and group counseling services. They also provide necessitites like diapers, food, and clothing. Zaccheaus was inspired by his mother, a Nigerian immigrant and domestic violence survivor. The shoe features the logo of Mothers United of Maryland.
Olamide Zaccheaus entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019. He made the roster and quickly became known for his speed and big-play ability, highlighted by a 93-yard touchdown reception in his rookie season. While he wasn't a consistent starter in Atlanta, Zaccheaus proved to be a reliable depth receiver and special teams contributor. In 2023, he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he continued in a similar role. He then joined the Washington Commanders in 2024.
Taysom Hill

Taysom Hill wore cleats celebrating the Hope for Fertility Foundation during the My Cause My Cleats campaign. The foundation provides financial assistance via grants and fundraisers to couples with infertility issues. It also spreads awareness through storytelling. Hill and his wife have been open about their family's IVF experiences when trying to have kids. They now have have two boys. The cleats feature Hope For Fertility's sun logo on one side and the glittery word "HOPE" on the other.
Taysom Hill has had a unique and unconventional NFL career. After going undrafted in 2017, he signed with the Green Bay Packers but was ultimately waived. He then landed with the New Orleans Saints, where his versatility quickly became his defining trait. Hill has been utilized in a variety of roles, including quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, and special teams contributor. Hill's unique skill set has made him one of the most intriguing and versatile players in the NFL.
