Serena Williams is most well-known for her multiple-tournament championships, but she’s also very involved in many different charities! She is the Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, which supports education for children in Asia.

Her Serena Williams Foundation focuses on aiding kids from poorer families with college tuition, allowing for more kids to go to college who could otherwise not afford it. The foundation also helps with aid to education programs in Ghana and Kenya for immunization.

Although Colin Kaepernick isn’t currently playing, that doesn’t mean he isn’t still helping the community! Kaepernick made a pledge to donate $1 million to charities that focus on helping oppressed communities. These include organizations such as New York’s Coalition for the Homeless as well as Home2Heart, which assists single moms in getting furnishings and beds.

Since Kaepernick has not been playing in the NFL, his commitment to donating to these causes has not diminished. So far he has contributed $900,000.
