The 5 Best One Liners from RuPaul’s Drag Race

A big part of being a good drag queen is being able think on your feet and deliver fast-paced,  hilarious zingers. To some degree, every contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race has this ability, but there are some who are clearly better than others. Here is a look at the top five one-liners in Drag Race history.

“Your tone seems very pointed right now.”

There’s no doubt that Willam was a vicious queen, but she wasn’t one for grandstanding. Instead, she preferred to throw razor-sharp shade with a delightfully sinister calmness. This is best exemplified through her hilarious backstage confrontation with fellow contestant Phi Phi O’Hara.

“Well come on, Teletubby! Teleport us to Mars!”

No one is ever quite sure what’s going on in the mind of Tammie Brown, and that’s especially true during this bizarre exchange between Miss Brown and Manila Luzon. Regardless, Tammie’s zany antics were always a welcome relief from the cutthroat seriousness of the other contestants.

“This is not RuPaul’s Best Friend Race!”

Poor Lashauwn Beyond was not long for season four of Drag Race, but before she sashayed away, she left us with this hilarious zinger in response to fellow contestant Jiggly Caliente attempting to be buddy-buddy with the other queens.

“Not today, Satan, not today.”

Season six winner Bianca Del Rio gifted the world with enough hilarious one-liners to fill an entire article themselves. However, “Not today, Satan,” stands heads and shoulders above the rest and is perfect for shouting during life’s little annoyances.

“It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to fall down. Get up, look sickening, and make them eat it!”

Latrice Royale was a never-ending source of hilarity on season four of Drag Race, but from time to time, she also managed to inspire us as well—especially during this moving moment from the season finale.
