The Four Horsemen’s 3 Biggest Moments

Wrestling can be a dynastic sport. Certain athletes, or groups of them, can find sustained success and remain in the fan’s good graces for years, even decades. For 13 years, from 1986 to 1999, The Four Horsemen was one such group of athletes: they were a staple, a dominating faction within professional wrestling’s golden age. As we near the 30th anniversary of their professional debut, why not take a moment and look back at some of the best moments in Four Horsemen history?

The Reformation of the Horsemen
This glorious day for the group and fans alike occurred on October 30th, 1995. Flair really knows how to yell. And strut.

Kicking out Sting
As a short-lived member of the group, Sting never quite fit in and clashed with Flair in major ways. When he was kicked out—in rather brutal fashion—after challenging Flair for the title, fans weren’t surprised, but still excited to see it.

Their induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.
It’s easy to understand why this is one of the group’s greatest moments. Barry Windham, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard were inducted for the first time and Ric Flair became the WWE’s first ever double-inductee in 2012.
