U.S. Politics Meets the Hunger Games

What happens when you drop today’s political players into the cutthroat chaos of Panem? Well, let’s find out. A.I. has reimagined America’s most powerful politicians as citizens of Suzanne Collins’ dystopian world of The Hunger Games.

President Trump has taken the spot of President Snow, still ruling over the Capitol and districts ruthlessly. He has a council of politicians under him doing his bidding and attempting to gain more of their own power. Elon Musk is funding the Games and hand-picking tributes for fun. Greta Thunberg has taken on the role of Katniss, a symbol of resistance armed with a bow. She’s fighting to save the planet and the citizens with it.

Lavish and beautiful fashion will meet fiery destruction as A.I. takes us on a journey through U.S. politics in The Hunger Games. Who will rise, and who will fall? The city of Panem is on the edge of war, with rebellion in the districts. Power is everything, and these politicians are fighting to keep it.

The Leaders of Panem

The Leaders of Panem

If the current U.S. political players were in the world of The Hunger Games, of course the fearless and ruthless leaders of Panem would be Donald and Melania Trump. As the current President-elect, it only makes sense this would be his role.

This image shows his inauguration, where the couple stands firm as supporters from the ruling city cheer him on. We’re sure that unrest is rising throughout the districts, however, as he is a controversial figure everywhere.

A Leader of Luxury

A Leader of Luxury

We can’t lie, A.I. has made President-elect Donald Trump look very distinguished in this image of him in front of the city of Panem. A city of gold lies behind him. He's portrayed as the strong leader of a new world.

In this image, he actually does look presidential, even putting President Snow to shame. The gold detailing on his tie and the crisp edges of his suit are straight out of District 1, the luxury goods district.

JD Vance as Head Gamemaker

JD Vance as Head Gamemaker

Vice-President JD Vance, as Head Gamemaker, ensures the Games serve as both entertainment and a chilling reminder of Capitol dominance. His innovation? Twisted arenas that reflect his “rags-to-riches” narrative—ones where tributes claw their way up a never-ending ladder, all while the Capitol watches with glee.

Completely loyal to Trump, JD handles the dirty work, subtly embedding propaganda into every twist of the Games. He makes sure the Games look “fair” while pitting tributes against each other, using this to keep the districts in line.

Ivanka as the Leader of District 1

Ivanka as the Leader of District 1

This image of Ivanka looks very regal and luxurious, with her golden embroidered dress and matching earrings. It only makes sense that she would be the leader of District 1, the luxury goods district.

Her Father, Donald Trump and the ruler of Panem, sent her to run this district as soon as he knew she was ready. She watches with pride every year as the tributes from her district fight to win the games.

Tulsi Gabbard

Tulsi Gabbard

Trump has officially nominated Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence, so in The Hunger Games world, she would lead District 2, which is responsible for weapons manufacturing. This district also trains Panem’s military, Peacekeepers.

Gabbard’s charisma and combat expertise make her a respected figure, uniting District 2 under a code of strength and loyalty. With the Capitol watching, Gabbard walks a fine line, balancing duty to her people with unwavering allegiance to the power structure.

Pete Hegseth

Pete Hegseth

In the real world, Trump has nominated Pete Hegseth as US Defense Secretary. In The Hunger Games world, his role would be as Head Peacekeeper, keeping the districts in line. He commands Panem’s military with an iron fist, inspiring fear and loyalty.

His speeches rally Peacekeepers, framing their actions as heroism despite the widespread suffering they inflict. Under his watch, Panem's military becomes a symbol of relentless control, silencing whispers of rebellion before they take root.

Elon Musk as a Panem Citizen

Elon Musk as a Panem Citizen

Let's face it: Elon Musk is already Capitol elite. This A.I. image looks like something we might see at the next awards show or government swearing-in ceremony. The suit probably has some sort of solar-powered technology in it.

In the world of The Hunger Games, he would be the richest Panem citizen and have the entire Capitol in his pocket (sound familiar?). He funds the Games and helps hand-pick the tributes each year, although they still say the selection process is random.

Marco Rubio as a Panem Citizen

Marco Rubio as a Panem Citizen

Marco Rubio takes on the role of a relentless Capitol diplomat, known for his smooth-talking charm and endless speeches that say everything and nothing all at once. He’s always eager to reflect on Panem’s unity while skirting around the rising tensions between districts.

Many see him as the Capitol’s forever-young golden boy, full of ambition but sometimes more style than substance. Style he definitely has, though, because you'll see him in full drag for every press opportunity.

Greta Thunberg as Katniss

Greta Thunberg as Katniss

Greta Thunberg, as Katniss, is a symbol of resistance against the Capitol's corrupt leadership. Armed with a bow and relentless determination, she rallies the districts, calling for environmental justice and the dismantling of unfair power structures.

She’s a thorn in the side of Capitol figures like Donald Trump and Elon Musk, challenging their empty promises and overindulgence. The districts see her as a leader and the voice of their anger and hope. Every move she makes pushes Panem closer to a reckoning.

President Trump = President Snow

President Trump = President Snow

In this A.I. image, you can see the similarities between President Trump and President Snow. Trump is dressed in a lavish but ridiculous outfit to fit in with the rest of Panem.

It’s clear that all he cares about are power and appearances. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to keep his position and the rest of the world of the Hunger Games under his control.

Challenging the Mockingjay

Challenging the Mockingjay

In this image, it looks like A.I. imagines Trump and Melania in the ruins of District 12. They watch ruthlessly as the city goes down in flames, with crows circling.

It looks like Melania is wearing her own version of Katniss’ Mockingjay dress, with the shoulders of the dressing coming up to form a strange type of wing. Maybe she's trying to challenge the Mockingjay with her own bird costume.

The Destruction

The Destruction

As the city of Panem goes down in flames, Donald and Melania Trump walk away unscathed. They’ve let the city be destroyed because of the fighting they’ve caused and have abandoned their own citizens.

This is a war where there are no winners. Trump has left nothing but destruction in his path as President over Panem and the districts, creating only resentment and hate between everyone.
