What Humans Will Look Like in the Future, According to AI

The future is a very obscure, ever-changing concept. One decision you make can change the whole trajectory of your future. Or another decision might alter a minuscule detail in your life. The future truly is a fascinating notion to think about. It holds depth to it that the past and present don’t; the past is something we can always revisit, and the present is our conscious awareness of what many would call the miracle of life – both equally complex and interesting- but the future is intangible. We don’t know what’s beyond the boundaries of what’s currently happening, and every decision we make leads to a future situation that we have no way to prepare ourselves for.

Have I caught your attention yet? Perhaps, you’ve thought of the state of future society. What would we look like, how would we get around, would humans still look the same, or would our features evolve with time? All great questions, and some I may be answering for you today. If the idea of humans in the future has ever occupied your thoughts, keep reading to find out the many possibilities of what mankind may look like decades from now.

Today, our technology has advanced exceedingly quickly. We have AI now, for goodness’ sake! I can only imagine how technology may look in the future, but this picture may be a snippet of what we can expect. It would be an efficient way to get around, as long as the vehicle’s emissions aren’t ruining the Earth’s atmosphere.

It’s also a new look for humans. The attire of the young man exudes the future, don’t you think? I think it’s the flowy, casual, and almost tattered clothing. Then, driving around in the sky isn’t necessarily new for humans, planes for instance, but this way of moving in the atmosphere is. It looks like humans in this era are brave and have no room for safety – where are the seatbelts?

VR

VR

Virtual reality isn’t anything new to humans either but, if we have it today, it’s inevitable that the form of entertainment will advance in ways we can’t imagine. If this photo tells you anything, it’s that VR will take long strides, and then a few more, in the future to become a completely new piece of tech.

I’ll admit, the woman does look cool, and so does the area she’s standing in. It appears in this timeline, humans insert themselves into VR with, not just a headset, but a full body suit as well. Humans will be looking like cyborgs or walking around like zombies if their focus is only on VR.

Cyborg

Cyborg

Speaking of cyborgs, there’s no way the future doesn’t entail such a thing. Whether it’s all humans or a group of them, cyborgs will be among the population at some point. The idea of it may be scary and unappealing, but based on the photo, they look cool.

The robotic parts peeking through look almost like accessories, as if jewelry advanced along with technology. If this is what humans will look like in the near future, then we’ll all be decked out with jewelry-esque metal parts that make a fashion statement.

Nature and Mankind

Nature and Mankind

Now we can’t talk about the future of humans without bringing up nature or Earth, our natural home. Unfortunately, it appears that nature took the brunt of mankind’s choices. Rather than nature overrunning buildings or manmade structures, it was the advanced technology that overran the Earth.

The elephant in the room is the man and the robot. One is living and the other isn’t, but they both look saddened. I have a hunch it’s from the depleting livelihood of the surrounding nature. Going on in life without enjoying nice weather, the song of birds, and the rush of wind on skin is a nightmare, but it looks like that’s reality for this man. Perhaps his only comfort is talking to the robot.

Technology Beyond Our Imagination

Technology Beyond Our Imagination

This environment, people, and robots look like they would be eons from now. However, it’s good to know dogs will always be around, no matter the time or circumstances. In this future, the tech evolved exponentially, and so did humans. This doesn’t even look like Earth! I wouldn’t doubt it if this resided on a different planet.

Humans look like a different version of the previous cyborg. Although I love the flowy shirt the woman is wearing, for some reason, this sort of attire is always attributed to future times. Is it the flexibility of the clothing? It probably gives us room to move around, because I’m sure extraterrestrial beings are known in this future. Then you have these different versions of robots: one with a caved-in face and the other that looks like a version of C-3PO in Star Wars. Cyborg-like humans are living harmoniously with robots and, of course, dogs.

Walking to a Better Tomorrow

Walking to a Better Tomorrow

This doesn’t look like a situation any human would want to be in. Either this is a desecrated Earth turned to sand and ash, or it’s a different planet with a sandy, desert terrain. At least in this future, humans look as they do today, but I don’t think that’s enough consolation for this man.

If he’s the only human left, or he’s searching for other people, the people of this future are either full of hope or completely hopeless. I like to think, as I hope you do as well, that he’s walking to find a better civilization where there’s advanced technology, nutrient-dense food, and housing for everyone. At the moment, he looks like he’s walking in despair, but perhaps, unbeknownst to him, he’s walking into a better tomorrow.

The Iconic Reputation of Music Fests

The Iconic Reputation of Music Fests

Currently, music fests are storming the media with their entertainment, unbridled fun, and otherworldly environments. Coachella is probably one of the most popular, and then you have Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits music festival. There are several today you can join and have endless fun at.

I guess in the future, nothing will change in this regard. Music fests will continue to sweep mankind off its feet with their diverse music and artists. Humans still look the same as well. Dressed up in trendy glasses, accessories, and clothes is a trend most follow when attending a music festival. It’s nice to know music will always bring us together and is universal among humans, regardless of the timeline.

Life in the Clouds

Life in the Clouds

Sometimes you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and that’s what this person is doing here. With some metal armor and a headset, humans look different in how they dress…unless this is another cyborg. Regardless, this future looks somewhat bleak, but fascinating.

It appears humans of this future are living in a very technologically inclined society, considering the oddly shaped buildings, and how high the person is. Maybe this is where they live, or this is a place to get away from all that obtrusive tech. It could even be a place to do some work, based on the computer. The future is looking full of metal, innovative tech, and a life in the sky.

The Future of the Military

The Future of the Military

It doesn’t look like the military will change much in the future. The uniforms are still the same, with camouflage, helmets, and bulky vests. Honestly, in terms of the military, this future looks very similar to the present. Humans don’t look any different either; there are no metal parts attached to our bodies or robots around.

Maybe the difference in humans isn’t in our appearance, but the circumstances in which we live. This photo only highlights the military, so that indicates a war of some sort, and I wouldn’t doubt it if that war was against aliens. Mankind is required to adorn military gear and prepare for a fight against alien life; what a future!

A Flight to the Future

A Flight to the Future

The realm of aviation was a wonder to behold in the early 19th century. Now, getting on a plane doesn’t faze anyone. But in the future, aviation has the potential to exceed anything we thought possible. Rather than humans evolving into cyborgs, they evolve into skilled pilots with no room for error.

The woman in the photo looks like any woman might today, and she looks very determined, as if she’s about to fight some alien. This future is another instance of humans looking the same, but their current situations are what evolve with time. Her red leather outfit is quite fashionable and is relevant to her time. In this futuristic era, humans are permitted planes and have the bravery and skill to fly them into victory against unknown enemies.

Women of Tomorrow

Women of Tomorrow

When you think of the future, the first thing that likely comes to mind is change. The state of the world, society, our technology, and how humans physically look is assumed to drastically shift decades from now. However, what if that wasn’t the case? Here, women look just as they do today. There’s no blaring oddity that indicates a change in humanity’s appearance.

If this is an example of what humans could look like in the future, perhaps the physical isn’t what changes, but other factors. The change could be intrinsic, such as advancements regarding the mind, or this is yet another instance of humans changing not through physicality but through circumstance or environment. I guess we’ll never know until the future becomes our present.

A Party Like No Other

A Party Like No Other

If we can send humans to space today, imagine what we can do decades or centuries from now. There’s even a chance that humanity would be living in space! Of course, with lifestyle, there’s also fun and entertainment. Rather than partying on a yacht or a rooftop in New York City, we could have fun in deep space.

There’s nothing more grandiose than attending a formal party on a foreign planet or space station in the belly of an intricately designed futuristic structure. In a perfect world, anyone could attend such parties and have the time of their lives. If this future becomes reality, humans will be dressed to the nines and partying in the most surreal place ever: space!

Men of a Different Age

Men of a Different Age

Similar to the women, this picture indicates that the physical appearance of men won’t change in any apparent way. There aren’t any oddities one can point out with their eyes, so once again, the difference in humanity is possibly from within.

As time moves along, everything else is forced to move with it, including humans, the world, history, etc. Maybe the future of humanity is that our physical appearance doesn’t shift, but our minds and intelligence do. Perhaps we can find a way to enhance the mental capacity of mankind. This picture could indicate any number of possibilities for a future we have no way of predicting.

The Immortality of Love

The Immortality of Love

It looks like it isn’t just dogs that survive the test of time. Love is another notable contender. Humans of the future will crave an unbreakable bond just as they do today. They’ll search for that special someone to spend the rest of their lives with. Love is universal for a reason!

Despite love holding true in the future, it appears the environment changes. The couple is on a sandy terrain, wearing tattered clothing that looks like it was caught in the crosshairs of some alien beast. The future may be one of love and alien warfare!

(Image via Midjourney)

Unbreakable Youth

Unbreakable Youth

The picture of youth looks similar in the future as it does in the present. Once again, there are no key details that indicate a shift in humanity’s typical appearance. Since there are so many possibilities of what the future holds that we can never rely on one decision, maybe the future isn’t going to change as drastically as many believe.

After three instances of humans looking just as they do today, this possibility holds more relevance. The future may include many concepts and ideas that we’re used to today, such as continued preservation of youth, the appearance of humans, building structures, and lifestyle. If this picture tells us anything, it’s that the future is unpredictable and we simply have to let time pass in order to get to the anticipated future.
