Lethal Weapon (Canceled)

Lethal Weapon had some controversy after one of the lead actors was fired last year. Everyone thought the series was over until Seann William Scott replaced Crawford as Riggs. Lethal Weapon returned for season three, but then Damon Wayans threatened to quit because working 16-hour days didn't mix well with Diabetes. Ultimately, the show was canceled after three seasons. Guess the swap didn't work in the show's favor.

Hawaii Five-O (Renewed)

It's official! Hawaii Five-O will be returning for a 10th season! Even better yet, Alex O'Loughlin has decided to stay in his role as Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett. The premiere date was September 27th on CBS.

The Big Bang Theory's hit spinoff series, Young Sheldon, has been picked up by CBS for a third AND fourth season. The second season has averaged more than 11 million weekly viewers, which makes it the third-highest-ranked show on CBS. Season three began on September 26th.

The CW's hit show Arrow was renewed for an eighth season. In March of 2019, it was announced that the eighth season would be the show's last. Additionally, it will only be a half-season featuring 10 episodes. Season eight premiered on October 15th.

Don’t expect The Big Bang Theory to continue past 12 seasons. Many people speculate that Jim Parsons is the reason as he requested an exit to pursue other things. The series wouldn’t be the same without his character, so the series will see its close with the 12th and final season. The finale aired May 16.

The OG NCIS got renewed for a 17th season pretty quickly (no shocker there, with an average of 16 million viewers per episode). OG NCIS premiered on September 24th. We've also learned that NCIS: Los Angeles has been renewed for an 11th season (starting on September 29th), and NCIS: New Orleans returned for a sixth season on September 24th.

The drama starring Scott Foley and Lauren Cohen didn’t last very long. Whiskey Cavalier is being canceled due to it having okay ratings at best. It was a tough call, but ABC ultimately landed on a “no.”

One Day at a Time is a reimaging of the famed Norman Lear sitcom that ran from 1975 to 1984. This reboot, instead, focuses on a Hispanic family. During its initial 3-season run on Netflix, the show received critical acclaim. However, Netflix canceled the series on March 14, 2019. Then, on June 27, the cable network Pop announced it had picked the show up for further seasons, officially renewing it. The newest season will premiere in March 2020, but no exact date is known yet.

The Bachelor has been around since 2002 and shows no signs of stopping. The series was renewed for a 24th season, but it's going to be tough to follow up Colton's fence-jumping season. The newest season won't premiere until Monday, January 6th.

Even though some fans wanted it to end, Pompeo was quoted saying, "when the numbers start to drop and people aren't watching the same, people aren't as passionate about it..it's time to call it." The newest season began on September 26th.

Somehow The Walking Dead keeps getting renewed. Season 10 premiered on October 6th. While ratings continue to crumble for the show, it's still one of the top shows on cable TV. For that reason, the show was renewed for an 11th season. We don't know the exact premiere date, bu tit will likely be sometime in October. Season 11 will also bring back fan-favorite Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie.

Will and Grace was one of the most popular shows in the late '90s, but it concluded in 2006. A decade later, it was renewed with the same cast so we could continue to follow their story. The new Will and Grace was renewed for season two and three (10 and 11, respectively) because of how well it’s done. However, you can only tell a story for so long. Season three will be the last, and it premiered on October 24th.

The second season of Big Little Lies premiered on June 9th, and it was a whirlwind. At the moment, the third season is in limbo. HBO stated they'll fund a third season as long as the entire cast returns, which makes total sense. However, the show's creator, David E. Kelley, said there's no plan for another season. Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are "exploring" the idea, according to Town and Country magazine.

The release date for Atlanta is November 3, the release date for Beverly Hills is early 2020, the release date for Dallas was September 4th, the release date of New Jersey is November 6th, NYC begins in 2020, Orange County returned on August 6th, and Potomac starts mid-2020.
