Gardening is tough work, but the end is worth the means.  It's okay if you do things the hard way, but there are some easy ways to make tending your garden easier. Here are some gardening hacks to help your plants grow.

Regular watering cans can be too heavy for children, so make them their own using a milk jug. 

Poke holes into the plastic lid and voila! Homemade watering can!

Wine bottles are great for extended watering while you’re away.  Just fill them up, turn them upside down and stick them into your containers.

Don’t pour the leftover water down the drain after cooking rice or pasta. 

Let it cool and use it to feed your plants and flowers.
