Unique Subscription Boxes

Subscription boxes are great, either as gifts or for personal use. You simply subscribe to a service and each month you’ll receive a package—sometimes the contents are unknown—with varying amounts of items. Many offer similar services, but if you’re looking for one that’s unique, look no further. Below are three of the most unique subscription box services out there. Enjoy!

  1. Hammock Pack
This subscription box is great if you enjoy travel (or the spirit of it) and trying out local wares. Especially if you are too busy to do all the traveling you’d like to do. Each package you receive will be themed differently, set in a particular location, and consisting only of items from vendors in that area. Food, houseware, and accessories from small, local businesses will make up your care package, giving any homeowner and their residence the look and feel of being well-traveled. It doesn’t beat the real experience, but if you can’t take a trip each month, it’s the next best thing.

  2. Mantry
This is another service that acquires different goods from various states in the US, but here all the packages will contain food items! This food-based subscription service targets men that are looking to refine their palate with American-made, artisan food and drinks. There are tons of subscription boxes that send food, but this one is unique due to its entirely American and male-targeted selections. From jerky to syrups and pancake mixes, you’ll be sure to stay full and satisfied with this subscription box. Though the name might be pretty deterring, women are totally welcome to use the service. Good food knows no gender.

  3. DarbySmart
There are also countless subscription boxes for small trinkets, crafts, or decorations, but not many of these services allow you to make these items yourself. DarbySmart is a DIY craft service that sends you stylish accents for your kitchen, coffee table, or even for your outfit. Some months you’ll receive coasters, others you’ll receive scarves. With whatever gift you receive, you can appreciate it even more because you put it together yourself. So, not only will a subscription to this service fill your home with neat accessories and decorations, it will also give you a fun and manageable DIY project to complete each month.

The prices for each of these services can vary, but they are all worth looking into if you’re interested. If you do, next month you could be eating some artisan jerky and sewing your own scarf. Doesn’t that sound nice?
