Valentine’s Day Gifts For Her

Are you stuck trying to figure out the perfect gift for the special lady in your life this Valentine’s Day? Here are a few ideas to help you let her know you love and appreciate all the things she does for you.

A Mani/Pedi Gift Certificate

Sometimes all a girl really wants is a day to be pampered, and what better way to do that than to send her to the spa to relax and get away from it all? Reserve her a spot and pay in advance to make sure her experience is relaxing and perfect. Want to kick it up a notch? Drive her there, surprise her with her favorite latte or chocolates to munch on while she’s being pampered, and then pick her up when she’s finished. Boyfriend of the year award goes to…. YOU!

Making A List

Sometimes your wife needs to know that all the things she does really matter. Make sure she knows that you realize how much she does for your family by listing off all the things you’re truly grateful for that she does. Then give her the day off. Cook dinner, clean the house, and entertain the kids. Really give her some peace and quiet while you take care of the mundane tasks, the problems, the boo boos, and the whining. She’ll definitely appreciate it.

Love Coupons

Sometimes these can come off as cheesy, but if you do it right, they can be really sweet and thoughtful. Instead of using corny lines like “this coupon is good for one sensual massage” go for something more practical like “this coupon is good for one night when you get to choose everything we watch on Netflix” or “this coupon is good for pizza and beer, my treat”. This is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Do Something Adventurous

If you want to do something together that is a little out of your comfort zone, sign up for a couple’s class. You can do almost anything, from painting to cooking to learning to shoot a rifle. It can really bring a couple closer to learn something new together, and you can have fun in the meantime. Sometimes an experience is better than a material gift in the long run.

Sign Her Up

Birchbox, Ipsy, and even Barkbox (for her furry, four-legged friends) are all great Valentine’s day gift ideas for the woman in your life who likes to try new products. Every month she’ll receive a sample of goodies to try for herself if you try Birchbox or Ipsy. If you go for Barkbox, then your pups will receive a sampler box of treats and toys once a month. It’s fun that lasts all year for under $15 a month.
