He was named the 2005 USATF Coach of the Year after a career of hurdling, running, and coaching countless athletes who later became coaches themselves.
People knew that basketball star Seimone Augustus was something special before she even joined the professional league! During her freshman year of high school in Louisiana, Sports Illustrated for Women made her a cover model with the headline “Is She the Next Michael Jordan?” She managed to live up to these expectations by becoming the WNBA’s No. 1 draft pick, a seven-time all-star, four-time MVP honoree, and an Olympic gold recipient for 2008 and 2012.
