Meet the Wives and Girlfriends of the Top Golfers

From Tiger Woods to Phil Mickelson, you probably already know which men top the golfing leaderboards -- but what about the leading ladies of their lives? Even the best golfers need a strong support system to help them stay positive during the most grueling matches of the year. That doesn't even take into account the hours and hours of practice it takes to become a pro athlete. And when these guys aren't swinging on the greens, they're raking time to relax with their favorite gals.

Not all relationships last forever, obviously, but these women have the gusto to shack up with an athlete that's fawned over by sports fans around the world. They stick with them through high-pressure Olympic trials and never-ending PGA Tours, for goodness sake! We think that deserves a gold medal alone! Even if you're the biggest golf fan that ever lived, you have to admit it's not the most... engaging sport.

We're highlighting the wives and girlfriends of 30 top golfers. How did they meet? How long have they been dating? What do they do for a living when they're not chilling in a golf cart? Do they even care about golf? All these questions and more are answered here! Keep reading to find out.

Collin Morikawa & Katherine Zhu

Collin Morikawa & Katherine Zhu

Collin Morikawa recently landed a spot at the top of world golfing leaderboards after securing 22 consecutive PGA cuts and five PGA Tour wins, including the 2020 PGA Championship and the recent 2021 Open Championship.

Even though he'd never competed at either championship before, he managed to scrape past the competition and collect the top prize. As the world's oldest and most prestigious golfing event, winning the Open Championship on the first try is no easy feat. Plus, he's the first man to win both championships in his debut!

No wonder Morikawa's girlfriend is so proud! Katherine Zhu made headlines with her avid support for her boyfriend of four years on Instagram in July, writing, "So incredibly proud of you! You've accomplished so much since turning pro in 2019, and I really can't wait to see what's next."

Zhu -- who played golf for Pepperdine University for four years—routinely posts updates of Collin Morikawa's training and sporting events on social media. Morikawa pointed his success back to Zhu a loving comment under the post, saying she's "literally my good luck charm."

Dustin Johnson & Paulina Gretzky

Dustin Johnson & Paulina Gretzky

Dustin Johnson, an American athlete, is at the top of the golfing game. He has six World Golf Championship victories under his belt (only Tiger Woods has seven), and is the first to win each of these events.

He also secured two major championship titles at the 2016 U.S. Open and the 2020 Masters. If that wasn't impressive enough for you, he's one of the longest drivers in PGA tour history and became the world's #1 golfer for 64 consecutive weeks in 2017.

Johnson has returned to the top-ranked spot over the last four years, and his partner Paulina Gretzky isn't threatened in the slightest. As a model, mother, singer, and socialite, Gretzky has plenty on her plate aside from her fiancé's high-pressure golfing ventures.

The pair first met in 2009 but the romantic spark didn't appear until 2013. After a brief seven months, they were engaged. They haven't married just yet, but they do share two sons, Tatum and River. Honestly, with the images she posts on social media, it’s hard to believe she’s had any kids. What’s her fitness regimen?!

Jordan Spieth & Annie Verret

Jordan Spieth & Annie Verret

American Jordan Spieth knows what it means to feel like a million bucks — literally. On top of winning three major championships and the 2015 FedEx Cup, he was ranked number one in the world for two consecutive weeks in August and one week in September.

Guess what the prize for winning the FedEx Cup is? A $10 million bonus. Yep, you read that right. Apparently, he knows what it means to feel like ten million bucks. As great as that is, Jordan thinks there’s something better than ten million bucks. What’s that? Oh, just his wife, Annie Verrett…

In January 2018, Spieth publicly announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend Annie Verret, and they tied the knot soon after. While the couple typically likes to keep to themselves, we know a thing or two about Verret's personal accomplishments.

After begging a romance with Spieth in high school, she went on to major in business at Texas Tech and now works as an events coordinator for the First Tee of Greater Dallas. This organization helps introduce young kids to the wonderful world of golf. They're a good match!

Rory McIlroy & Erica Stoll

Rory McIlroy & Erica Stoll

Rory McIlroy is an Irish athlete who competes in both the European and PGA Tours. He's spent over 100 weeks in the #1 position of the Official World Golf Ranking, won four major championships, and is one of three golfers who have managed to win four major titles by 25.

He first made a name for himself during his amateur career, later on securing his place as the youngest player to reach over $10 million in earnings for both the European and PGA tours. McIlroy met his now-wife Erica Stoll fresh off the heels of very publicly calling off his engagement to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki in 2014.

One short year later, McIlroy and Stoll were officially dating. Prior to their wedding at Irish venue Ashford Castle in 2017, McIlroy told The Independent, "The thing I love about [our relationship] is that we were friends before anything romantic happened.

We met when she was working for the PGA of America, and renting a condo in Palm Beach, and I found it refreshing being with someone who was living a normal life rather than, 'Oh! My jet is 30 minutes late!'" They share one daughter, Poppy, who was born in September 2020.

Brooks Koepka & Jena Sims

Brooks Koepka & Jena Sims

Brooks Koepka continues to make America proud with his performances at world and national golfing championships. In 2018, he sat at the world #1 spot for 47 consecutive weeks after he won the CJ Cup, the U.S. Open twice, and the PGA Championship.

His 2019 win for PGA broke a world record, making him the first golfer to win back-to-back championship titles at the same time. Like any good man, his professional life isn't the only thing he cares about.

Like any good man, his professional life isn't the only thing he cares about. On April 1, 2021, Koepka happily announced his engagement to actress Jena Sims on Instagram after privately popping the question while on vacation in Jupiter, Florida. No, it wasn't a prank despite what it may appear!

If you’re looking at her thinking that she could be a model, you’d be right! This gorgeous woman is a professional model and actress (and sometimes Koepka’s hairstylist). The pair often go on vacations together, which is just what Brooks needs after all the stress from being a professional golfer.

Justin Thomas & Jillian Wisniewski

Justin Thomas & Jillian Wisniewski

It all started in 2017. This was a defining year for Justin Thomas. Four years after turning professional, he found himself with five PGA Tour wins, his first major title, the FedEx Cup, and Player of the Year all within one season. Needless to say, it's not surprising that he topped the World Golf Ranking a year later.

After that, he followed it up by winning the 2022 PGA Championship.   He hasn’t been without controversy though. Justin Thomas recently drew criticism for using a slur to express anger over a missed putt. Despite apologizing, sponsors like Ralph Lauren and Woodford Reserve ended their relationship with him.

Standing beside Justin Thomas is Jillian Wisniewski. Chicago-based advertising business manager Jillian Wisniewski does her best to support her partner at matches no matter where he is but finds that it's sometimes difficult to accompany him around the world.

It's rumored that they've been an item since 2016 and are still going strong without the engagement ring! The pair like to keep their relationship on the down low, but we know it won’t be much longer until they tie the knot. Jillian also gets along with other WAGs, including Allison Stokke, Rickie Fowler’s Wife.

Jon Rahm & Kelley Cahill

Jon Rahm & Kelley Cahill

Jon Rahm recently became the first Spanish golfer to win the U.S. Open. After topping the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 60 weeks, he managed to scrape to world #1 after winning the Memorial Tournament in 2020.

Look out, everyone! Rahm might be young, but he means business -- if he ever actually gets to play. Unfortunately, he was forced to withdraw from both the 2021 Memorial Tournament and the Summer Olympics after testing positive for COVID-19 multiple times.

Rahm currently lives with his American wife Kelley Cahill and their son in Scottsdale, Arizona. Cahill was a javelin thrower and tennis player at Arizona State University, which is where she first met Rahm. He proposed to Kelley Cahill after two years of living together and married in Bilbao, Spain, near Rahm's hometown.

Cahill has been seen regularly supporting Rahm on the PGA and the DP World Tours, but all that came to a pause in 2020 when Cahill announced that she was pregnant! The due date clashed with the Masters, so Rahm wasn’t sure he could make it. Little Kepa ended up being born a week before, and the couple couldn’t be happier.

Scottie Scheffler & Meredith Scudder

Scottie Scheffler & Meredith Scudder

Scottie Scheffler is the 2022 Masters Tournament champion and is currently ranked #1 in the world by the Official World Golf Ranking. He's been a top golfer since tying 4th place in the 2020 PGA Championship and ranking in the February 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational. Like many golfers, Scottie is trying to ignore LIV drama, but can he?

It’s a lot easier when you have someone standing by your side! That begs the question: which wonderful lady married this champion? Just like a fairytale, Scheffler married his high school sweetheart Meredith Scudder after dating for six years! The pair first met in their hometown during high school and continued to date long-distance despite attending different colleges.

After study abroad trips and graduation in 2018, Scheffler proposed to Scudder while hiking at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. Scudder announced the upcoming marriage on Instagram, writing, “YES! I can’t believe God gave me my best friend to spend the rest of my life with, can’t wait to be your wife, Scottie!!!! Blown away at the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness to us. [LET’S] DO THIS!!”

Scudder is the director of curating opportunities for a non-profit called Behind Every Door. This program is designed to provide sport, education, and creative programs for kids in underdeveloped neighbors, specifically in the Dallas area. Apparently, the two are pretty passionate about giving back, which is always great to hear.

Bryson DeChambeau & Lilia Schneider

Bryson DeChambeau & Lilia Schneider

American Bryson DeChambeau, often referred to as "The Scientist" on the golf green, has made quite a name for himself over the past few years. It's not every day one finds themselves amongst the selective group of players with eight PGA Tours and the 2020 U.S.

Open title under their belt, let alone meet DeChambeau's mark with such precision. He has earned his reputation as an amateur golf prodigy with his highly commendable accomplishments; becoming only the fifth ever to have won both the NCAA Division 1 championship and U.S. Amateur championship within the same year! Quite a feat for someone who goes by The Scientist these days.

Lilia Schnieder, who is recognized as the girlfriend of professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau, has gained prominence primarily through her presence on Instagram, where she has established herself as a model. Despite her emphasis on showcasing her lifestyle and fashion on social media, Schnieder offers a glimpse into another aspect of her life: her love for golf. Alongside her glamorous posts, Schnieder often shares images of herself honing her golf skills, demonstrating a genuine commitment and enthusiasm for the sport.

This juxtaposition of her roles as both an Instagram model and a golf enthusiast adds layers to Schnieder's public persona, captivating the interest of her followers who appreciate the diversity of her interests. As she navigates the worlds of modeling and golf, Schnieder continues to intrigue fans with her multifaceted approach to life, offering glimpses into her passions and pursuits beyond the confines of social media.

Phil Mickelson & Amy Mickelson

Phil Mickelson & Amy Mickelson

Phil Mickelson AKA "Lefty" hasn't secured the coveted position of world #1, but he's being in the top 50 for 25 consecutive years, in the top 10 for 13 years, and #2 multiple times. Mickelson has a habit of finishing runner-up.

Sure, he's one of the few players to even win three of the four major golf championships, to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame, and become the oldest championship winner in history, but he can't seem to crack the U.S. Open, which he's finished second a record number of six times.

Phil met his wife Amy back in 1992 as they attended Arizona State University. She was a cheerleader and he was a college golf star, but she's admitted that she didn't realize just how good he was at the time. “When he told me he was a pro golfer, I thought he worked in the shop at a golf course,” reports Golf Monthly.

They married in 1993 and share two kids together. Amy is heavily involved in fundraising for breast cancer research after being diagnosed in 2009. During this time, Phil suspended his participation on the PGA tour. Thankfully, she entered complete remission in 2011. While his career is important, his wife is the only MVP in his eyes.

Louis Oosthuizen & Nel-Mare Oosthuizen

Louis Oosthuizen & Nel-Mare Oosthuizen

Louis Oosthuizen accomplishments speak for themselves with two runner-up finishes at the Masters, the U.S. Open, and the Open Championship. Throw on top of that an impressive win in 2010 at The Open and you have a golfer who truly deserves to be mentioned among some of the greatest players ever.

Oosthuizen is a lot like Arnold Palmer and Phil Mickelson - both classic standouts who have more than just a couple great showings under their belt. Louis Oosthuizen has put South Africa on the map and showed that truly great skill can come from anywhere.

(Image via Instagram)

Nel-Mare Oosthuizen

Nel-Mare Oosthuizen

Louis and Nel-Mare were two peas in a pod since long before they even knew what love was. It all started when Louis, not much older than his 3 daughters currently are, met Nel-Mare as neighbors on their respective farms.

Over a decade after they first met, they made it official and tied the knot in his hometown of Mossel Bay. Now, with three beautiful daughters, Louis and Nel-Mare have been together for a long time – who said true love didn't exist? We think these two have the kind of romance you usually see in movies.

Daniel Berger & Tori Slater

Daniel Berger & Tori Slater

Daniel Berger made quite a splash when he became a professional golfer in 2013. From that point on, his career went from strength to strength as he managed to snag not just one, but two wins at the prestigious FedEx St. Jude Classic.

Daniel's success seems to be following him, because in 2020 he won the Charles Schawb Challenge and again in 2021 with a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am - talk about impressive! Even more impressive - he's gotten himself onto U.S national teams twice since his pro debut, once as an amateur and once as a professional. What a career for young Mr Berger!

(Image via Instagram)

Slater

 Slater

Berger sure got lucky when he found his girl, as Tori Slater is all about golf! She attended Florida Atlantic University to get her degree in marketing and business, which led her to becoming a top realtor there. However, that doesn't stop her from heading out the door on weekends with Berger for some recreational activities.

Hot yoga, cycling, Pilates, and most of all, paddle boarding - although Berger probably needs some extra courses in that one - seem to keep them busy on their days off. What more can you really ask for from a couple who loves each other and love to stay active?

Tiger Woods & Erica Herman

Tiger Woods & Erica Herman

Tiger Woods needs no fancy introduction; his name speaks for itself. As one of the greatest golfers and most famous athletes in history, Woods hasn't had as much success in his relationships. After marrying Elin Nordegren in the 2000s, Woods found himself smack in the middle of an infidelity scandal with multiple women.

The accusations lost him up to $12 million in sponsorship deals on top of his marriage. In 2010, Woods televised an apology to his family and fans: "I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to... and deserved to enjoy all the temptations around me... I was wrong. I was foolish."

All wasn't lost for him, however. Despite the cheating scandals and multiple severe car accidents, Erica Herman has stuck by his side since 2017. Before meeting Woods, she worked as a successful restaurant manager in her home state of Florida.

They first appeared as a couple at the President's Cup that year with Herman wearing a "player spouse" badge around her neck. They weren't married at the time, but if she's known for anything, it's her unwavering support for her boyfriend.

Rickie Fowler & Allison Stokke

Rickie Fowler & Allison Stokke

Rickie Fowler’s rise to stardom in the golfing world has been nothing short of remarkable. After going pro he was able to quickly and impressively climb the ranks; in just under 8 years, he skyrocketed from an amateur golfer to hit a career-high of fourth in the world on January 24th, 2016!

Of course, we can't forget that Rickie held a spot as #1 amateur golfer in the world for 36 weeks from 2007 to 2008. He certainly takes his golf very seriously – so seriously that it paid off handsomely for him and his fans. So if you’re ever looking for inspiration on how to ‘putt’ your dreams into motion, take real good notes from one Rickie Fowler!

Allison Stokke

Allison Stokke

Fowler's wife Allison Stokke is a successful athlete in her own right as a track and field competitor and fitness model. At merely 17 years old, she went viral online after breaking records for high school pole vaulting.

While that was where she got her first taste of attention, it didn’t stop there. At UC Berkeley, she achieved All-American honors for the NCAA Indoor Championships and competed in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. The couple married in October 2019.

Patrick Cantlay & Nikki Guidish

Patrick Cantlay & Nikki Guidish

29-year-old American golfer Patrick Cantlay launched onto the scene back in 2011 with a dazzling amateur career. In fact, he climbed to the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 55 weeks until Jon Rahm overtook him in 2016.

Professionally, he's won the PGA Tour four times, the 2019 and 2021 Memorial Tournament, the 2017 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, and the 2020 Zozo Championship. While it was impressive, it's clear he didn't peak during his amateur career.

She then went on to earn her doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of South Florida College in 2018. Taking a look at her Instagram reveals that she's also a fitness guru and model. Back in 2014, she even participated in a bodybuilding contest!

Justin Rose & Kate Rose

Justin Rose & Kate Rose

Justin Rose is an English golfer who truly has earned his place at the Hall of Fame. He puts in a lot of effort every time he plays and is fully dedicated to his game. This can be seen by his accomplishments in the PGA and European Tours, most notably when he won gold at the 2016 Olympics.

Plus, let's not forget that Rose made history after the 2018 Open Championship when he reached world #1- it was a well-earned victory! Now we just need to see if he can take home any more titles in this season...

(Image via Instagram)

Kate Rose

Kate Rose

Some say the ultimate success in life is finding true love, and it seems Rose has ticked that off his career list too. In December 2006, after securing a top spot at the leaderboard of golfing World Tour, Rose married his long-time sweetheart and former gymnast Kate Phillips.

It’s been almost fifteen years since they first walked down the aisle of matrimony, and three kids later, the couple share a beautiful family together, including their son Leo who was born in February 2009. See, when you mix a genius talent plus dedication with true love, then anything is possible!

Ian Poulter & Katie Poulter

Ian Poulter & Katie Poulter

It seems like England can really produce some fantastic golfers, right? This English golfer recently joined the LIV Golf League, but he was making headlines long before that. The highlights of his career date back to 2010, when he won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.

Then, in 2012, he followed that up by winning the WGC-HSBC Champions. He goes by the nickname, “The Postman.” While he received that nickname because he always delivers a point, he’s also been known to ding a mailbox or two while on the greens.

(Image via Instagram)

Who is that lovely lady standing next to Ian? Katie Poulter! The couple has been married for over a decade, but they've been together for more than two decades. The pair is one of the longest-standing couples in the PGA after meeting in 1995 and tying the knot in 2007.

Katie was working as a nurse when she met her future husband. Sparks flew, and the rest is history. Katie is often spotted supporting her husband on the greens. It must also be nice being married to a nurse to treat any muscle exhaustion he gets while winning all those titles.

Paul Casey & Pollyanna Woodward

Paul Casey & Pollyanna Woodward

Paul Casey is an incredible English athlete who continues to make waves in the golfing world. After reaching the third spot of the World Golf Ranking back in 2009, he's continued to compete in the U.S. PGA Tour like a champ.

But his achievements don't end there: over the course of his golfing career, Casey has secured five amateur wins and twenty-one professional wins overall, including three PGA wins, fifteen European wins, and one Korean Tour win. Talk about an impressive resume--it's almost too much for us golf amateurs to handle. We tip our hats off to you, Paul! Keep doing your thing and showing us common folk what it means to be a golfing king.

(Image via Instagram)

Paul Casey & Pollyanna Woodward

Pollyanna Woodward had a successful career of her own as a British television presenter for Channel 5's The Gadget Show. She’s also a pretty impressive model, and her earlier stuff can be pretty spicy for the average person to handle. With the photos she takes now, we can’t imagine how much more we can handle.

She met Paul Casey while presenting at the 2011 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Three years later, they were engaged. The pair certainly didn’t waste any time getting married, either. After tying the knot, they went on to have two children.

Jason Day & Ellie Harvey

Jason Day & Ellie Harvey

Jason Day, the Australian-born Maverick of golf, has been tearing up the PGA Tour ever since his 2015 PGA Championship win where he achieved the rank of #1 in the world. But that's just the tip of his winning iceberg! He doesn't just dabble with success - this man has 17 professional wins and two impressive world championship titles under his belt (from 2014 and 2016).

That's some serious firepower! It's clear, whatever he holds in his hands whether it be a driver or putter; Day knows how to turn it into gold. And, most importantly, let's not forget he makes this great sport look pretty fun, which is something us fans appreciate.

(Image via Instagram)

Ellie Harvey

Time truly flew for Jason Day, as in 2005 he chanced upon the waitress of his dreams at Mavis Winkle's and then, two years later found himself marrying her in Lucas, Ohio. Fast forward to 2021 and this couple already has four kids!

Some may reason that it takes a good sign for something to last almost two decades, but the true testament of their love is right here – talk about true commitment! Ellie Harvey is apparently a great mom, which has to be difficult with so many kiddos running around all the time.

Adam Scott & Marie Kojzar

Adam Scott & Marie Kojzar

Not to be confused with the actor Adam Scott, this 33-year-old Australian athlete Adam Scott landed at the top of the world golf rankings in 2014 given his impressive professional performances ranging from the PGA Tour to world championship matches.

His biggest win was the 2013 Masters Tournament as it was his first major championship win and he was the first Australian to nab the title. Overall, he has 35 notable wins to be proud of, 14 of which have been PGA Tour wins. With skills like this, we’ll be asking, “actor, who?”

One year after landing his history-making Masters title, Scott married on-and-off girlfriend Marie Kojzar in a secret backyard ceremony at Scott's home in the Bahamas. Kojzar works as a Swedish architect after completing her education at the Royal School of Art in London.

They welcomed their daughter Bo Vera in 2015 and their son Byron Scott in 2017. Not a lot more is known about the couple. Marie likes to keep her life quiet, and Adam doesn’t even post her on his social media that much.

Tony Finau & Alayna Finau

Tony Finau & Alayna Finau

Tony Finau has gone from playing professional golf to taking on a much bigger role as the father of five children alongside his wife Alayna. Not an easy feat by any means! But Tony is more than stepping up to the plate.

He has enjoyed success on the PGA Tour, competing in U.S. national teams at both the 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2019 Presidents Cup, proving that he can handle balancing pro golf with his family responsibilities. While those five little ones will no doubt keep him very busy, it looks like we can expect parental Tony to still be making a mark in professional golf in no time!

(Image via Instagram)

Alayna Finau

Alayna Finau

Sports publications routinely applaud Finau's consistency when it comes to finishing in the top 10 of most golf tournaments, and we believe he's able to do so because his wife Alayna Galea’i-Finau is equally as dedicated to him and their family.

In fact, Alayna is in charge of the kids and takes the family to church whenever Finau trains out on the greens. They share five kids -- Jraice, Leilene, Tony, Sage, and newborn Sienna-Vee. Can you imagine keeping schedule for a family this big? We don’t envy Alayna in that respect.

Webb Simpson & Taylor Dowd Simpson

Webb Simpson, an American athlete, is a routine PGA Tour golfer who originally broke out onto the golfing scene as an amateur competing in the Walker Cup and Palmer Cup in 2007 for Wake Forest University.

As a professional, he's most notably won the 2012 U.S. Open and the 2018 Players Championship on top of multiple wins as part of a U.S. national team at the 2011, 2013, and 2019 Presidents Cups.

Taylor Dowd attended Wake Forest alongside Webb, which is where she studied communications and theatre to become an actress.  It was at the university that Webb's father offered Taylor $100 to go on a date with his son.

Despite turning down the money, she agreed to go on a date if Webb was as cute as his father, apparently. Their first date occurred in 2004 and the rest is history. Legend says that $100 was used to buy steak on their first outing. After a few bumps in the road, the couple married on January 2, 2010, in North Carolina. They now share five children.

Sergio García & Angela Akins Garcia

Sergio García & Angela Akins Garcia

It’s certainly not hard to remember this next one! 43-year-old Sergio García is a Spanish athlete who's won 36 international tournament wins over his enduring professional career. That’s a lot of wins alone, but he wasn’t even done.

From the PGA Tour to the Masters, García is a consistent player who's spent over eight and a half years in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking.  He managed to nab the #2 slot after winning the 2008 HSBC Champions tournament, and it's rumored that he's earned over $43 million from his golfing.

Angela Akins worked as a Golf Channel reporter before she married García in July 2017 in her home state of Texas. She was probably more familiar with Sergio than most people! Merely one short year later and they welcomed their first child into the world Azalea.

Their daughter's name is inspired by the flowers planted around the 13th hole of the Augusta National Golf Club where García won his first major championship. Golf really runs in this family’s blood. In April 2020, they had their son Enzo.

Hideki Matsuyama & Mei Matsuyama

Hideki Matsuyama & Mei Matsuyama

Hideki Matsuyama has certainly done quite a lot for himself! Becoming the first pro golfer from Japan to win a major championship is a feat not many can take for their own. And that's just the beginning. With 15 international wins, 6 PGA Tours wins, and too many national cups and tournaments to count, Hideki Matsuyama keeps showing us time and time again what an impressive athlete he is.

It goes without saying that landing in the second-highest spot of the World Golf Rankings in June 2017 was no small thing either - talk about going big or go home! It looks like Hideki aspires to be #1, and we're sure he will make it there soon enough.

Wherever Hideki goes, his wife Mei isn't far behind. He secretly married Mei in January of 2017, announcing that they tied the knot to reporters at an August 2017 press conference one month after the birth of their first child Kanna.

According to Hideki, he kept their relationship status mum because “no one really asked me if I was married, so I didn’t have to answer that question. But I felt that after the PGA would be a good time, because our baby is born, and I thought that would be a good time to let everyone know.”

Tommy Fleetwood & Clare Fleetwood

Tommy Fleetwood, the English athlete who plays mainly on the European Tour, is a man of many accolades including five European Tour titles, a Challenge Tour win, a PGA EuroPro Tour win, and more.

He's had his fair share of losses over the last decade as an established pro, but that's not all he gained in 2010 when he first started out - oh no! That's also when he met his wife who soon became the apple of his eye. Just goes to show that you really can have it all if you just keep your eyes on the prize.

Clare likes to keep her life quiet and secret, something that seems to be pretty common with the WAGs of MVPs. Because of that, not much is known about Tommy's wife Clare, but she's rumored to work as a manager and business VP.

They first met when she was hired to be his manager in 2015 and went on to marry in October 2017. Clare is notoriously older than her athletic hubby (not that it's a bad thing), so her age is unfortunately emphasized in the media over her other accomplishments.
