Instead of asking for wedding gifts when they tied the knot, Stamkos and Porzio requested donations for the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Tampa and Toronto, earning them a special announcement from the Tampa Bay charity site: "We are very grateful for Steven and Sandra's support over the past few years. Meredith Morris works as a registered nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She earned her Nursing and Health Professions degree from Dreel's University College. This hard-working woman's dreams came true when Gaudreau proposed in August 220. They married at St. Agatha-St. James church in Philadelphia just one month later! Talk about a quick turnaround.

Swiss defensive player Roman Josi is the captain of the NHL Nashville PRedators. Josi was the first Swiss player in history to win the James Norris Memorial trophy for the NHL's best defenceman. He also made history by becoming the highest-scoring player from Switzerland back in 2021, usurping Mark Streit's high score.
Josi married his longtime girlfriend Elli Ottaway in 2019. Ottoway makes a living by pursuing her passions as a model and musician. Mika Zibanejad is a Swedish centre and alternate captain of the NHL team the New York Rangers. After initially playing with the Ottawa Senators for five seasons, he was traded to the Rangers. He brought glory to his home country after scoring the winning goal in the 2018 IIHF World Championship.
Zibanejad found his perfect match in fellow athlete Irma Helin. His fiancee is also from Sweden but takes part in a different sport from her soon-to-be husband. She works as a soccer midfielder for the Djurgårdens IF Fotboll of the Damallsvenskan. In fact, she won her first title for the Swedish national team over Iran back in 2016. Such a power couple!
Artemi Panarin & Alisa Snarok
Artemi Panarin AKA the "Breadman" is a Russian alternate captain and winger for the NHL New York Rangers. He's played for countless NHL teams, including the Chicago Blackhawks after his NHL debut in 2015 and the Columbus Blue Jackets. In his first NHL season, Panarin managed to snag the Calder Memorial Trophy as the best rookie player of the season.
Alisa Znarok accepted Panarin's marriage proposal on August 5, 2019, after dating for a year. The pair adore traveling, which occurs often between the two of them because Znarok is a model and Panarin an athlete. They first met in 2015 during the World Hockey Championship but didn't make things official until years later. J.T. Miller & Natalie Craig
American athlete J.T. Miller plays as a left-winger and alternate captain for the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL. In previous seasons, Miller represented the New York Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning. There will always be a special place in his heart for the Rangers because they drafted him 15th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry.
Natalie Craig is J.T. Miller's wife and the mother of their two daughters, Scotlyn (born in 2018) and Scarlett (2019). Craig prides herself on being a mother and the supportive partner of Miler, who leads quite a turbulent athletic career. Miller told Iain MacIntyre with Sportsnet that his life wouldn't be possible without the support of Craig and his family. Gabriel Landeskog, a Swedish hockey player for the Colorado Avalanche, plays as a left-winger and captain in the NHL. He's cracked multiple NHL records, including the youngest captain in NHL history at 19 years old, hen becoming the fourth European-born captain to do so.
Landeskog shares two children with his wife Melissa Shouldice. Landeskog skipped out on a skate because he didn't want to miss the birth of his second child, a son, the day before. Their eldest child is a sweet girl who is 15 months older than her little brother. We expect that there could be more to come!
Adam Johnson & Ryan Wofle
Adam Robert Johnson was a professional American ice hockey forward, born on June 22, 1994. Known for his exceptional skills on the ice, Johnson enjoyed stints in the National Hockey League (NHL), where he played 13 games. After his time in the NHL, he joined the Nottingham Panthers, a team in England's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).
Johnson and Wolfe were beyond in love with each other. They were often spotted together and became engaged in the Summer 2022 after living together in England. Sadly, Adam Johnson passed away in October of 2023 in a tragic accident.
Aaron Ekblad & Dayna Mastronardi
Aaron Ekblad is a Canadian defensive player and alternate captain of the Florida Panthers in the NHL. Selected first overall in the 2001 draft for the Ontario Hockey League, he was a promising player from the start. In fat, he played in an All-Star Game during his first official NHL season, later winning the Calder Memorial Trophy.
Who exactly is the lucky wife of Aaron Ekblad, who was unanimously named the "Exceptional Player" title by Hockey Canada in 2013? Dayna Mastronardi, of course! Mastronardi recently graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Florida with her doctorate. Ekblad shared a post congratulating his wife in 2020, writing "Graduation Day for my Doctor Fiancée. I’m so proud of you. Time to work your way out of the red numbers! #DrDayna #nsugrad."
Jake Guentzel & Natalie Johnson
Jake Guentzel is an American hockey player for the Pittsburg Penguins in the NHL, and he's stuck with the team after being drafted in the third round back in 2013. Good thing he stuck with them because he went on to win the Stanley Cup for Pittsburgh in 2017!
Natalie Johnson was Guentzel's long-term girlfriend until he finally proposed in early October 2020 after nearly a decade of dating. The renowned hockey player married his Omaha-native girlfriend on July 30, 2021. Guentzel isn't the only athlete in the family, however; his wife Natalie played as a midfielder with the Omaha women's soccer team. What a talented duo!
Juuse Saros & Minna Varis
Juuse Saros is a Finnish goaltender for the Nashville Predators, and is lovingly nicknamed "Juice" by his friends and fans. He first joined the NHL during the 2013 Entry Draft in the fourth round. Despite being far down the list in the initial draft (99th overall), he's managed to crawl his way up to fan-favorite among hockey enthusiasts.
Minna Varis is his wife, but their proposal story didn't go quite as planned. Saros shared his proposal fail to the Tennessean, saying, "When I opened the box, the ring popped out and went onto the ground. My hands were shaking a bit." The pair first met eleven years ago and dated for over eight years before getting married. They were hometown sweethearts with the same group of friends. We want what they have!

David Pastrnák & Rebecca Rohlsson
David Pastrnák AKA "Pasta" is a Czech right wringer for the Boston Bruins. He made his NHL debut in 2014 after being selected 25th overall by the Bruins during the Entry Draft. The Bruins knew what they were doing when they drafted "Pasta," because he went on to represent his home country in four World Championships! That's a valuable player to have under your belt on a national team.
Even though Pastrnák hasn't proposed to his girlfriend Rebecca Rohlsson at this point in time, we know that it's just about time for them to tie the knot. In fact, they brought a son named Viggo into the world together back on June 17, 2021. Unfortunately, he passed away just six days later. Our heart goes out to the couple, and they've managed to grow closer after working through the unimaginable loss.
Patrick Kane & Amanda Grahovec
Patrick Kane hails from America and plays as a right-winger and alternate captain for the Chicago NHL team, the Blackhawks. The team selected him first overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, which is a huge compliment to Kane's skills on the ice. Their instincts proved to be true once Kane went on to compete in multiple Winter Olympic games, won three Stanley Cups, and won MCP for the 2015-2016 season.
Kane has more than an impressive career — his girlfriend Amanda Grahovec is equally amazing. Like some other hockey players, the couple has dated for years but remains unmarried. However, they share one son together (Patrick Kane III), who was born during the pandemic on November 12, 2020.
John Carlson & Gina Nucci
John Carlson plays for the NHL Washington Capitals in the defensive position as well as an alternate captain. He was drafted in 2008 in the first round by the Capitals and has enjoyed a successful career with the team since. IN fact, he won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2018, becoming the highest-scoring defensive player for the playoffs.
Gina Nucci was Carlson's long-term girlfriend until the pair finally settled down and got married on September 6, 2014. One year after the ceremony, Nucci gave birth to their first shared child. In total, they have three sons, Lucca, Rudy, and Sawyer. Sawyer is the most recent addition to the family as he was born in late 2020 in the midst of the pandemic.

Max Pacioretty plays for the Vegas Golden Knights as a left-winger in the NHL. After being drafted in the first round back in 2007 by the Montreal Canadiens, he was traded to the Golden Knights in 2018 before the start of the season. WIth the Canadiens, however, he enjoyed modest success as their captain for his last three seasons as well as scoring a majority of the team's goals.
The Pacioretty love story started long ago when Max met the former NHL player Maxim Afinogenov. Max fell in love with Maxim's sister, Katia, and married her in July 2011. This makes Max's former buddy his brand new brother-in-law! The couple now supports a large family, including four sons and a single daughter. Katia is also an athlete in her own right. She made a name for herself in professional tennis, winning titles in everything from ITF tours to WTA cups. She officially retired in 2016.
Mark Stone & Hayley Thompson
Mark Stone is a Canadian professional athlete who plays as a right-winger and captain of the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL. He previously played for the Ottawa Senators in 2010 and was traded to the Golden Knights. During his early career, he was the top rookie of the 2014-2015 season, which set the tone for the rest of his professional career. Hayley Thompson leads a quiet life, but they described their proposal on Zola.com prior to their wedding:
"Mark suggested that we go for a walk to tire the dogs out before we left... I thought we were just going for a quick walk so I didn't understand why he was asking. Alex DeBrincat & Lindsey Bice
American right-winger Alex DeBrincat serves as the alternate captain for the NHL Chicago Blackhawks. His dream of playing professional hockey started young in his hometown of Farmington HIlls, Michigan. He stood out during his college ice hockey career in Massachusetts, leading to his first official titles: Emms Family Award and CHL Rookie of the Year. Professionally, he has set multiple records, including the Erie Otters all-time Goal Leader and top OHL scorer from the United States.
Lindsey Bice is the dedicated wife of Alex DeBrincat. The pair tied the knot in July 2021, and the ceremony was attended by many of DeBrincat's Blackhawk teammates. ZDeBrincat's hockey friend Brandon Hagel said the following to the Chicago Tribune: "[DeBrincat is] one of my best friends. I can’t thank him enough. He made me so at home here, became really, really close friends... I'm happy for him, he deserves it."
Nazem Kadri & Ashley Cave
Nazem Kadri was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs at #7 in the 2009 NHL Draft but transferred to the Colorado Avalanche team later in his career. His career is particularly interesting because he won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2022, which made him the first openly Muslim player to aid in the Cup's win.
Ashley Caveis Kadri's wife, whom he married in July 2018 at Casa Loma, Toronto. Cave gave birth to their first child — a daughter named Naylah — just one year later. Reportedly high school sweethearts, the pair held a beautiful intimate ceremony for their friends and family, which set the tone for a lovely life off the ice. Ashley is a businesswoman who helped her husband open the Zasem Kadri Foundation for helping mentally ill people.

Vladimir Tarasenko & Yana Tarasenko
Vladimir Tarasenko, from Russia, plays for the St. Louis Blues in the NHL as a right-winger and alternate captain. He spent the beginning of his professional hockey career playing in Russian leagues like the Kontinental Hockey League and SKA Saint Petersburg. He joined the NHL in 2010 when the Blues drafted him 16th overall.
Tarasenko married Yana Tarasenko on July 1, 2015, but they started their family years before. In 2007, Yana gave birth to their first child Mark. Their second son Aleksandr came one year after their wedding, with Artem following in 2019. Mark, however, is Vladimir's stepston, which explains how Yana became a mother before getting serious with Vladimir.

Patrice Bergeron is a Canadian hockey center and captain of the NHL Boston Bruins. After playing junior hockey with the Quebec Major Junior HOckey League (QMJHL), he was drafted at #45 overall by the Bruins in 2003. Bergeron also represents his home country in WOrld Championships, including the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.
Bergeron's wife is called Stephanie Bertrand, who is the mother of their three shared children named Zach, Victoria, and Noah, respectively. Bertrand — a graduate of Laval University with a degree in psychology — is a huge supporter of her husband's passion for hockey and roots for him at games any time she can get away from their Boston home.
Brad Marchand & Katrina Sloane
Brad Marchand is another Canadian hockey player who represents the Boston Bruins as a left-winger and alternate captain within the NHL. Since the 2006 Entry Draft, Marchand has played for the Bruins but hasn't had the nicest reputation. In fact, he's gotten multiple fines and been included in numerous controversies for his actions on the court, which include kissing, licking, or hitting his opponents.
Marchand's wife Katrina Sloane doesn't seem to mind her husband's controversial moves on the ice. She accepted his proposal and married him in September 2015, so she must like something about him! The pair share two kids, including a daughter and stepson (Sawyer and Sloane). Marchand's most recent pursuit is unrelated to hockey, as he purchased a sports lodge focused on hunting and fishing in Newfoundland.

American goaltender Thatcher Demko plays for the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL after being drafted in the second round during the Entry Draft in 2014. Nicknamed "Thatcher the Snatcher," Demko is a fan favorite for fantasy hockey leagues and shows a lot of potential for his professional hockey career. Lexie Shaw is one of the few hockey wives on this list who also seriously played the sport, which makes her a perfect match for pro-athlete Demko.
Shaw was the WCHA women's hockey Player of the Month during the 2016-2017 season alongside teammate Emma Nuutinen. According to her team's website (the North Dakota Fighting Hawks), Shaw received the award as a senior player after she "turned in her second-consecutive shutout with a 17-save performance... against Minnesota State" and "made 19 saves against the mavericks to help UND earn its first sweep of the season. Russian forward Evgeny Kuznetsov started playing for the Washington Capitals after competing in various junior-to-senior level competitions for Russa. These included the 2011 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and the 2010 IIHF World Championship. Kuznetsov is known for his celebratory ritual from the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2018, which resulted in the loving nickname "the Birdman."
Kuznetsov married Anastasia Zinov'eva AKA Nastya in 2011 at Tracktor Ice Arena in Chelyabinsk, Russia, which was the perfect venue for the hockey-obsessed couple. Fun Fact: He holds the NHL record for most wins in a postseason! As for his wife, Kseniya Vasilevskaya is his main squeeze. Kseniya married the world-renowned hockey player by the time he was 19. Two years after their marriage, the couple became parents with the birth of their first child, Lukas.
The two first met on a short flight to Moscow where they sat in the same row. After separating, they continued talking on social media, and the rest is history! Not much is known about Kseniya herself, but her husband Andrei is open about keeping family first.
