A Tale of Two Selfies

A Tale of Two Selfies

Sometimes you just be taking a nice selfie on the beach with your lovely girlfriend and the next thing you know someone is creeping in your shot trying to ruin the whole thing. Turns out the two gentlemen behind wanted to take their very own romantic selfie. Such cute couples!

This selfie from Italian football player Mattia Capogrosso certainly brings the laughs although that’s not likely what he intended when he took the shot based on his facial expression. But like any day at the beach, it was likely quite memorable.

A Royal Photobomb

A Royal Photobomb

Jayde Taylor is a 2012 London Olympic athlete with Dual CG Gold and WC Silver medals. The ex-hockey now co-owns a brand of sugar-free ice cream called Denada. But more importantly, she’s met the Queen! Just not on purpose.

While taking a photo with her friend and teammate, Jayde Taylor got photobombed by none other than Queen Elizabeth II. And the best part yet, she even has the Queen smiling on camera and whoever thought they would see that?

Selfies in Space!

Selfies in Space!

Selfies aren't just a thing on planet Earth evidently, they also happen in space! And in space,  anything is possible. You might be taking a selfie at the perfect angle when unexpectedly you are photobombed by a fellow crewmate hanging upside down on the space station.

There are certainly few selfies like this one. And that mainly has to do with the fact that space suits are not easy to come by...or perhaps because space travel is not easily available to regular citizens - that is unless they have a ridiculous amount of money and nothing to do.

F*** Off Sis

F*** Off Sis

For some people, selfies can be an obsession and this obsession can come much to the chagrin of those around them. Take all the selfies of yourself that you want, by all means, but leave the rest of us out of it! This young girl certainly seems to agree with that sentiment.

There's certainly nothing like sisterly love. The older sister in the car is definitely in high spirits while her little sister seems to have had quite enough time in sitting in the car. Perhaps, it's time to put the camera down and drive home, because it looks like someone might need a nap.

Oh My God, You Got Me LOL

Oh My God, You Got Me LOL

"Ha ha ha! Oh my god! My boyfriend is so sneaky, catching me in the shower. Give me some privacy! Ha ha ha." But oh wait, what's that in the mirror, none other than the photographer herself. It's almost as if she has no boyfriend at all and the photo is completely staged.

So, before you embarrass yourself by concocting a fake candid photo, perhaps it's best to check your background. Here you can so clearly see her taking a photo of yourself. Hopefully, her friends will forget about it but not likely if people like us keep posting it. Sorry, not sorry.

Fire At Will

Fire At Will

Seemingly, at first, you have a completely innocent photo of a mother with her daughter, but lurking in the back you have some serious shenanigans going on - that is two children trying to launch a baby out of a canon. But hey, it could be worse, they could be binging YouTube all day.

At least this way, they are getting out of the house. It's too bad this mom couldn't see what was going on, but hey, the splash will certainly bring her attention to it. We kid, of course, that cannon is probably not loaded, probably. yeah, it's fine...we think. People should really keep a closer eye on their kids though.

Stealthy Bombing

Stealthy Bombing

Awww, to be young and in love. A young man gives his lovely girlfriend an innocent peck on the cheek, but oh wait, it looks like they have some company lurking in the shadows. If you aren't looking close enough, you just might miss it - a friend sneaking between them.

And this one certainly almost went unnoticed for quite some time. According to the now-deleted Reddit poster, this photo was on their fridge for 6 years before they even saw it. That is truly some stealthy photobombing. If there were photobombing awards, they would definitely earn it. They certainly earned their free spot on the fridge.

He Who Must Not Be Named

He Who Must Not Be Named

The Dark Lord's presence can be felt everywhere, even when you are taking a selfie. It seems that Lord Voldemort took a break from trying to find Harry Potter in order to photobomb these two ladies. Does he have no shame? I mean trying to terrorize kids is one thing, but this may be a step too far.

Voldemort certainly looks like he's having a good time though. Maybe Harry Potter was right and all the guy needed was some friends, and well, also a nose but that's beside the point. Although from what we can tell, he certainly doesn't have a nose still. But what can you do?

Dad, get out of my room!

Dad, get out of my room!

Parents can be so embarrassing times. Sometimes you just be sitting in your room trying to take the perfect selfie for all your friends to see when suddenly a big bear of a man comes bursting in and that man is your dad, ruining your shot. At least he's funny though.

It's safe to say that her friends could probably do without seeing that though. Dad could certainly have put a shirt on if he wanted to be part of the photo so bad, but alas, what can you do? Dads will be dads.

Little Dog or Big Baby?

Little Dog or Big Baby?

Someone clearly didn't check this selfie before posting otherwise they would have noticed that it looks like there's a tiny dog going to the bathroom on their baby's head.  Typically all that mess should be in a diaper and not come from your dog, but regardless, something looks very wrong here.

Dad certainly looks happy, although the baby looks uncomfortable. But the perspective is so spot on that you really can't be sure there's not a little dog sitting on the baby's head or whether baby and daddy are just giants. Who can say really?

When Your Dog is Tired of Your Selfies

When Your Dog is Tired of Your Selfies

A dog may be a man's best friend but that dog has no care at all for your selfies. This dog has clearly had it up to the wall with his master's selfies, mocking her sultry pose.  Of course, she is none the wiser to what is happening in the background.

And we would venture to say it took her quite some time to even notice what her dog was doing after the fact. We have to admit though, this is some talented dog and you got to wonder just how long it can hold that pose for. Regardless, it's funny and impressive.

Dog Butt Photobomb

Dog Butt Photobomb

Is it really the best selfie you can take if it doesn't have a little dog butt in it? These girls sure do have great smiles but ultimately it's the dog that's hogging the camera. They were probably wrapped up a little too much in themselves to notice the canine posing for the camera.

In the end, this selfie is a lot more memorable than the one they were going for but not exactly the wholesome group photo they had in mind. Sometimes you just got to take the shot though and home your dog isn't around in a compromising position.

Selfinception

Selfinception

A selfie within a selfie! How deep does this rabbit hole go? Nobody really wants to know but you do have to ask yourself if someone is in your selfie also taking a selfie, is it still considered a selfie or is it something beyond that?

This guy just wanted to take a picture with his dog but the woman behind him really wanted to interfere. It's definitely odd though that she isn't using the front-facing camera. Like has she ever even took a proper selfie before? It's about time she get it together if she plans to photobomb anyone with her selfies again.

Bombed by the Boss

Bombed by the Boss

If you are going to bet photobombed it's better to get photobombed by the boss. Taking a selfie at a concert is one cool way to show off what you are up to but having the entertainment right in your shot is even better! Bruce Springsteen certainly proves an excellent photobomber.

Bruce Springsteen is certainly no stranger to taking photos with fans as you can actually find a ton of pictures like this. The man will actually stop what he's doing to take a photo, so he's a real people person unlike many people in show business. The Boss has is the best boss you could ask for.

Oh no you caught me napping...

Oh no you caught me napping...

One minute you are taking a nap, having such sweet dreams in your head, when suddenly your girlfriend sneaks up on you to take a shot of you sleeping while waking you up in the process. Such audacity! And you didn't even have time to fix up your hair or anything.

But, oh wait, you weren't actually sleeping and you probably don't even have a girlfriend. So, instead you took this photo with your feet to make it look like you actually do. We have top admit though, this is pretty impressive and if this can't get you a girlfriend, we aren't sure what could!

Awkward Public Bathroom Selfie

Awkward Public Bathroom Selfie

Taking a selfie in a public bathroom probably isn't the best idea and its for reasons like this. Here we have a young woman trying to take a selfie in the bathroom while some parental catastrophe was happening in the background. And dang, her hair had looked so good.

And either that child is misbehaving and about to get a whoopin' or he just slipped on the bathroom floor. Neither case is funny inherently but as a photobomb, it certainly brings the laughs in a dark way. But hey, your outfit is also really on point! They'll be out of the bathroom soon enough.

Ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille

Ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille

Upon first glance, this looks like your typical bathroom mirror selfie and by golly, there are certainly a lot of those out there in the world. But this one has something very special in it - an extremely unflattering close-up that the photographer really didn't have in mind.

Undoubtedly, she didn't plan for her nostrils to be in the photo as they are so prominently reflected in the bathroom mirror. It ends up being the most unflattering picture she could take, I mean unless you are totally into nostrils.

Are they okay?

Are they okay?

That moment when you are taking a selfie with your friends and everything seems fine but little do you know behind you are a few old ladies that are either sleeping or just plain dead. The subjects of the selfie certainly look happy though. After all, life is for the living.

We are guessing the older ladies are just asleep though. Conferences can be quite boring, and perhaps enough to induce sleep, but to our knowledge, there are no actual recorded incidents of being bored to death. We are guessing they do the same thing on bingo night or while watching reruns of Matlock, but you never know - maybe they did die.

Spider Photobomb

Spider Photobomb

Selfies are all fun and games until you get photobombed by a big creepy spider. Okay maybe it's not the big - could be the arachnophobia talking - but the spider definitely has the creep factor going on. I mean what kind of weirdo just intrudes on your selfie like that!

Of course, this was the only real way for this spider to get its 15 minutes of fame. Hopefully, it's happy with the angle or with the fact that there are people in the photo cramping its style. It's probably upset by all that screaming though. Like chill out girl, ya know?

This can't be good...

This can't be good...

Going to the beach is all about having fun but sometimes it's about getting your private parts bitten off by a dog. Nah, just kidding, we're sure this kid turned out fine - right after a few surgeries. Maybe before he jumped up like that he could have been a little more aware of his surroundings.

But for real, it's probably just the angle. Hopefully, nobody sent this photo to the kid's mother because it sure is alarming. We wouldn't wish this on our worst enemies. Well, we might, but we'd also feel bad about it. Just to be clear though, nod dogs were harmed in the making of this photo.

More Dog Butt!

More Dog Butt!

Yes, more dog butt selfies. And to be clear up any confusion, the dog butt is on the left. And if you are familiar with the gaming world, you know the guy on the right is PewDiePie - a Swedish YouTuber who usually does Minecraft videos and stuff.

But it matters not because once again, it's the butt that's hogging up the camera. But oh man, what a way to wake up. Even internet celebrities are not immune to getting a face full of dog butt after a nap. Perhaps, it's just that dogs find this to be their most flattering angle.

Blood-thirsty seal

Blood-thirsty seal

This family just got photobombed by a blood-thirsty seal but whether they lived to tell the tale is up in the air.  This is certainly one of the most frightening selfies we have ever seen and probably more scary than any movie we've seen either. Had this mother and child survived? Where are they today? They are with God now.

No, we kid, they are most likely fine. But this is definitely something right out of a horror movie and we have to wonder if there was perhaps a better shot for dad to take of his loved ones and this seal. We were never scared of seals before this but that has certainly changed now.

The Endangered Horned Rat

The Endangered Horned Rat

Had the photographer of this photo just discovered a new creature? Could this be the long-lost horned rat zoologists have been searching for? Oh yeah, there's no such thing. But thanks to the beauty of perspective, there finally is. God works in mysterious ways, but camera phones even more so.

Don't ask us what animals these actually are. The one thing could be a prairie dog, or a gopher, or groundhog or squirrel...I don't know. And then maybe the other thing is like an ox or a cow or...you know what, we aren't zoologists, so you know...back off.

It's a Boy!

It's a Boy!

No matter what anyone tells you about where babies come from, let the record show that it's actually the stork. This is what you learn early on as a child until Big Education tries to dissuade you into thinking it's something as vulgar as sex. Don't believe the lies.

As you can see, this is living proof that the stork delivers children to people on the regular. Or maybe its just living proof that your need to check the background of your selfies unless you wanted it to look like a bird just air-dropped your baby at random.

(Image via Reddit)

Man-Dog

Man-Dog

Is this a giant half-man, half-dog or a mere optical illusion? If it is, we have to admit it has a decent haircut and it's honestly not the worst-looking man we've ever seen. He definitely looks tired though, so it's good he's sitting down for a nap.

If you are going to take a selfie with your dog, make sure you actually appear in the picture. Because as-is, it looks like you transformed into a dog.  We can't imagine why the dog's owner took the picture at this exact second but it certainly made for an entertaining shot.

Is that George Michael?

Is that George Michael?

There's nothing more irritating than getting photobombed by some random guy, except for getting photobombed by a celebrity, because suddenly nobody even cares that you are in the picture. This woman has been photobombed by Scott Pilgrim aka George Michael Bluth aka Michael Cera and he doesn't even look like he cares.

Rest assured though, she can always take another shot after she leaves. Hopefully, she did notice he was in the frame, otherwise, she will next time she watches Superbad.

Stranger Danger

Stranger Danger

Getting photobombed is bad enough but it's even worse when you are getting photobombed by a stranger. When you are taking a cute picture with your man, and the woman behind you is just sneering, it can be frustrating because honestly why didn't you think of it first?

The lady could have at least smiled for the camera too, but maybe she's just having a bad day. And we'd venture to say that if you asked her to smile, you'd be eating your buffet lunch out of a straw for the rest of your life.

Dammit Matt Garza!

Dammit Matt Garza!

It looks like this girl, unwittingly, just missed her chance to meet Matt Garza who totally photobombed her. She'll probably feel disappointed later on regarding this missed opportunity. She seems to be a fan of the Brewers, after all. Although, she could just be wearing the shirt ironically.

Matt Garza, if you don't know, is now retired so his photobombing days in the baseball field have come to an end. He hasn't played since 2017. But hey, maybe he can make a career out of taking pictures with people for money instead of just jumping in so rudely.

Bill Gates Photobomb

Bill Gates Photobomb

Working at Microsoft is impressive sure, but getting photobombed by Bill Gates is even more so. Imagine doing such a good job that your boss just has to have a picture with you? This kind of achievement is just on a whole other level compared to others.

Bill Gates was once the richest man in the world until he gave all his money away. Now he has to intrude on people's photos and charge his own employees for them for spare change. It's sad really. Very sad. Okay, I might have made that up entirely.

Wait a minute...

Wait a minute...

At first glance, it's just another lovely lady taking a selfie, but at second glance, it's clearly a trick someone is pulling. This gentleman is clearly pulling a fast one on his followers by posing as a woman using a special filter that transforms his appearance. He does make a very pretty lady we have to admit.

It is certainly amazing what technology can do these days, although it's extremely disconcerting to know how easily it can be used to deceive people. The fact that a middle-aged man can pose as a girl in her 20s or even younger could easily pose a problem in terms of online safety.
