Sunny Yellow
Who doesn’t like waking up to a sunny yellow kitchen? This type of design is perfect for apartments because it doesn’t require permanent changes. Bowls, towels, accessories, and seating in your favorite color will make all the difference. You can also get live flowers, but some fake ones require less maintenance and can be just as beautiful.

Power Red
If you own your own home and can make changes, you may as well paint your cabinets! You’d be surprised what painting your cabinets and updating your fixtures would do. You don’t even really need to pay a lot to get this done – just the paint. It’s easy to take down most cabinets and paint them yourself. Then, put them up and enjoy the view.

Simple Classic Orange
Is orange your favorite color? This type of design works great for big or small kitchens. A few splashes of orange can be added through artwork, kitchen accessories, flowers, and towels. You don’t need to paint your cabinets or walls. This type of design is ideal for anyone that’s renting a house or apartment and can’t make significant changes.

Clean and White
White doesn’t have to be boring. It can be beautiful with a few additions. To avoid it being too stark, you can add a little color here and there. It doesn’t work against the white because it can bring out the color even more. You can use framed artwork or other items that fit your budget.

Chic Blue
Admittedly, marble isn’t cheap, but that isn’t what we’re focusing on. Even if the countertops were white, the blue would look just as beautiful. Like some of the other designs, all you need to do is paint the cabinets, which can be done DIY. Then, update the fixtures with silver, and you have a gorgeous addition that will change your kitchen without a ton of money.

Splash of Red
Red can be an overwhelming color for some, but a few splashes of red here and there can change everything. Paint some of your cabinets red and add red items around the kitchen. In this picture, roses are used, but you can use a red toaster, towel, and other things to help bring out the shade.

Emerald Green
Green is an inspirational color, and it’s incredibly unique. Personally, we think that this shade of green works well with golden fixtures, meaning you may have to do a little replacing. Unlike this picture, you don’t need to replace your sink and oven because the fresh coat of paint and new fixtures will be plenty.

Teal Wonderland
Teal is one of our favorite colors, and it would make a perfect shade for any kitchen. Rather than just the cabinet doors, the whole cabinet was painted, which will be more expensive. That being said, it does create a cohesive look. The dining room even flows with the kitchen thanks to teal in the pillows and a teal bowl.

Black and White
Sometimes simple is best. Black and white are fantastic colors for a kitchen because it gives you plenty of opportunities. These two colors can really help accentuate anything floral or natural. Best of all, you can change up the accent color every now and then to keep your kitchen fresh and new.

Wood and Blue
Don’t fret if you have natural wood in your home! You can still redecorate. Almost any color works well with brown, but we think that blue is one of the best options. This design is simple: paint the island. You may be surprised how much a kitchen changes after you make a seemingly small change.

Red, Pink, Blue, and Yellow
This is for those that adore color. We get that it’s hard to pick between the colors you like best, but that doesn’t mean they can’t flow well together. This kitchen has painted blue cabinets, red and pink walls, and yellow accents that work excellently. Of course, you can go with blue and yellow or red and pink without any issues.

Boho Design
Boho is all about color, and this kitchen is utterly unique. The backsplash is the focal point, and the rest of the kitchen was designed to flow around it. The refrigerator uses a decal to change the stark black, which makes a huge difference. Then, the natural wood brings a nice little finish that rounds out the colors.

Black and Navy
This darker design works best for larger, open-area kitchens. Something this dark would make smaller kitchens seem even smaller. That being said, a fresh coat of paint and navy accents can be all the room needs to become updated.

Slate Grey
Something about slate grey works in a kitchen. We’re guessing it’s due to the fact that it matches well with stainless steel, black, and white appliances. You can tie it together with a bit of natural wood, and you’ll have a rustic-like paradise.

Orange Accents with Natural Wood
Too much orange can be a bit too much. Instead, work with natural wood and add orange pieces. This person used orange pillows, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and flowers to help bring out the natural wood color. This works best if you have white or stainless-steel appliances as black can seem out of place.
