When Calls the Heart has maintained a dedicated fanbase since its debut in 2014, becoming one of Hallmark Channel's most successful series. The show's wholesome storytelling, period setting, and focus on community and romance have resonated with viewers.

And the girls aren't going anywhere anytime soon; When Calls the Heart was officially renewed for season 12 in May! The Golden Bachelor: TBD

The Golden Bachelor: TBD
  • Status: TBD
  • Seasons: 1
  • Watch it On: ABC

While we're still waiting to hear The Golden Bachelor's fate—especially after the first golden couple announced their divorce—but in the meantime, The Golden Bachelorette will air this fall on Wednesdays. Fingers crossed we get a second season of both shows; maybe Gerry will even get a second (third?) chance at love!

The Golden Bachelor became an instant hit in 2023, featuring senior citizens seeking love. Fans of the Bachelor franchise have long awaited (and demanded) diversity in contestants' ages, ethnicities, weight, etc., and the network finally got something right this time; we don't just want to watch young people fall in love; we want a happily ever after for our friends' granny, too!

The Bear: RENEWED

The Bear: RENEWED
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: TBD
  • Seasons: 3
  • Watch it On: Hulu

The Bear has become a breakout hit since its debut in 2022, garnering widespread critical acclaim and a devoted fan base. Its authentic depiction of culinary culture, compelling character development, and tight storytelling have earned the series numerous awards and a surge in popularity. (And, ok, Jeremy Allen White's delicious—pun intended—good looks certainly don't hurt either.)

The show's success has also sparked renewed interest in the restaurant industry and Chicago's culinary scene, where the story is set. As The Bear continues to release new seasons, its popularity shows no signs of waning, cementing its place as one of the most talked-about series in recent years. The Bear was renewed for a fourth season—news we all hoped to hear since that season finale cliffhanger.

The Valley: RENEWED

The Valley: RENEWED
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: Spring 2025 (TBD)
  • Seasons: 1
  • Watch it On: Bravo, Peacock

The Valley, the long-awaited Vanderpump Rules spinoff, will absolutely come back for a season two. It's a matter of when, not if! Season one premiered in the spring, so there's speculation that season two will pick air around the same time in 2025, giving them plenty of time to film this fall.

Bravo fans ended up enjoying the new series way more than they did the eleventh season of VPR (post-Scandoval), and several castmates—Lala Kent and Scheana Shay, in particular—are gunning for a spot. Two of The Valley's major couples have also split since filming wrapped, so there should be plenty of drama for seasons to come. If there's one thing Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute are good at (and I do mean literally one thing), it's making reality TV.

Many fans are also begging for VPR alum and queen Stassi Schroeder to make a reality TV comeback, whether it's joining the cast of The Valley or getting her own spinoff. Also, we're still waiting for a Something About Her show! Sandwiches! Pinot grigio! Girl power! Get busy, Bravo producers.

Great news, villa fans: via Deadline, Love Island USA was picked up for a sixth and seventh season back in 2023. The current season was filmed in Fiji; who knows where the islanders will find love in season seven?

  • Seasons: 22
  • Watch it On: ABC

American Idol shows no signs of slowing down! With its recent renewal for an eighth season on ABC and 23rd season overall, it's clear this show still has some star power. Originally a ratings giant on FOX for 15 seasons, it found fresh energy on ABC, proving it’s here to stay.

Even as the format tweaks and pre-audition screenings become more intense, American Idol continues to be the go-to singing competition. This renewal is a testament to the show's knack for keeping things exciting and relevant, despite not landing another major star since Jordin Sparks. But at least they have Katy Perry, I guess?

Only Murders in the Building: TBD
  • Status: TBD
  • New Season Premieres: TBD
  • Seasons: 4

But fans will have to wait a while for season two; filming is wrapping up in August, so we're looking at a mid-to-late 2025 release.

Blue Bloods (RENEWED)

Blue Bloods (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: October 4
  • Seasons: 14
  • Watch it On: Paramount+

Blue Bloods was a hit the moment they cast Tom Selleck as the lead—everyone loves Tom Selleck. However, people stayed because of the drama. It was renewed for the 12th season, which began on October 1st. It had quite a bit of drama and some stuff that riled us up—what was up with the judge?!

The 12th season is going pretty great, but there hasn't been any news about a renewal. That being said, we see it coming. There's no way it'll get canceled unless something major happens like an actor leaving (and that isn't in the cards currently).  As always, we'll keep you updated!

Season seven has been officially renewed, although Fox hasn't stated the release date yet. It'll likely be March if the pattern remains the same. On top of that, Fox has begun producing a spin-off called Alter Ego. In this one, singers will create an "Alter Ego" or avatar that will perform how they've always wanted to be seen. Certainly interesting!

  • New Season Premieres: TBD
  • Seasons: 3

The streaming giant greenlit a season four a while ago, but production has been held up over a major casting shake-up.

Vanderpump Rules: TBD

Vanderpump Rules: TBD
  • Status: TBD
  • Seasons: 11
  • Watch it On: Bravo, Peacock

The entire world tuned into the season 10 reunion for all the juicy Scandoval drama, so Vanderpump Rules of course picked right back up for an eleventh season—just three months after the worm with a mustache broke Ariana's heart. Because they rushed into filming, the cast was a hot mess, and fans quickly tired of the laughable attempt at a redemption arc for the show's villain. Karma's a real B, ain't it, Sheesh and Lauren from Utah?

Bravo decided to hold off on filming a twelfth season this summer, for the first time since COVID stalled production back in 2020. According to production and Scheana herself on her podcast, the cast needs some time to cool off and figure out where the group goes from here. Ariana quickly shot to stardom, competing on Dancing With the Stars and hosting Love Island USA, and she doesn't really need the show anymore. But what will happen to the rest of the cast? Can they secure a spot on the spinoff show, The Valley? They've got the time to figure it out! (But also can we please get a Something About Her show, please and thank you!)

However, the Yellowstone universe is far from over. Creator Taylor Sheridan and Paramount have announced several spin-offs to continue the saga, including 6666 and a yet-unnamed series reportedly set to star Matthew McConaughey. These new shows aim to expand the Yellowstone narrative while maintaining the essence that made the original series a success.

The Kardashians: RENEWED

The Kardashians: RENEWED
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: September 2024 (TBD)
  • Seasons: 5
  • Watch it On: Hulu

The Kardashians, now in its fifth season on Hulu, continues the family's reality TV legacy following the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E!. The show, which premiered in 2022, offers a more polished and business-focused image of the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. While it maintains the family drama and glamour that fans expect, the new series can tend to feel more like PR than reality TV. Critical reception has been mixed, with some praising the improved production values and more curated content, while others argue it lacks the spontaneity of the original series. Critics have noted that the show still struggles with authenticity, often feeling overly controlled and edited.

Despite the valid criticism, Hulu renewed the show for a sixth season, and executive producer Ben Winston told The Hollywood Reporter that filming is already underway while the current season airs. Here's to hoping they finally force Kim to "just call Taylor up" and apologize for #snakegate instead of giving us another tone-deaf grocery shopping scene where they pretend to be relatable.

Some are thrilled by the fresh twist, eager to see how this daring move will shake up the ton and bring new dynamics to the story. Girls5eva: TBD

Girls5eva: TBD
  • Status: TBD
  • Seasons: 3
  • Watch it On: Netflix, Peacock

Girls5Eva is a musical comedy series that follows a fictional one-hit-wonder girl group from the '90s attempting a comeback in their 40s. While not achieving the massive viewership numbers of some mainstream hits, Girls5Eva has developed a strong cult following and critical acclaim. Its clever satire of the music industry, relatable themes of friendship and second chances, and nostalgia factor have resonated with audiences.

Devoted fans are begging for the fourth season of the hit Netflix show Girls5eva, but the network has kept mum. Even Bareilles reportedly hasn't heard any news. Emily in Paris is about a girl who landed her dream job in her dream city, Paris. The series stars Lily Collins, whose resume would prove her to be a good actress—but Emily is by far the weakest character in this ensemble cast. And while it's hugely successful for the streaming giant, a lot of fans have admitted to hate-watching the series for fun (which, same).

Bustle stated that the hate is because the show is too unrealistic to be real, but other viewers say, “That’s the point!” It’s all about escapism, apparently. Whether you love or hate it, the series will return for the first part of its fourth season on August 15 and the second part on September 12.

Euphoria (RENEWED)

Euphoria (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: 2025 (TBD)
  • Seasons: 2
  • Watch it On: HBO Max

Every series HBO comes out with is, at the bare minimum, really good, but Euphoria? It’s one of the best ones they’ve ever come out with. The show is a coming-of-age series but in a very modern way. Rue is an addict just trying to make it through high school.

The cast is amazing and features Zendaya as Rue. The first season blew up, with massive critical acclaim. It felt like forever before season two was confirmed, and filming started late due to COVID-19. Then in 2023, one of the show's stars, Angus Cloud, passed away, and filming was delayed indefinitely.

Grey’s Anatomy (RENEWED)

Grey’s Anatomy (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: September 26
  • Seasons: 20
  • Watch it On: ABC

Most of the original cast is gone, but that hasn't slowed down Grey's Anatomy.  Ratings have been dropping for years, and there have been strong online opinions about whether it's time to give Grey's Anatomy the conclusion it deserves.

But show creator Shonda Rhimes long ago said that the show would end once Meredith Grey herself, Ellen Pompeo, decided to leave the show. She downgraded to recurring character in season 20, but she has yet to officially throw in the towel.

The Boys (RENEWED)

The Boys (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • Seasons: 4
  • New Season Premiere: June 13
  • Watch it On: Amazon Prime Video

The Boys comes from the hilarious mind of Eric Kripke, the same guy who did Supernatural. Of course, everyone knew that the show would end up being fantastic. The first three seasons blew everyone away, and we've been glued to our screens for season four.

However, series showrunner Eric Kripke announced the show will wrap up with a fifth and final season. Season four is still currently airing, so jury's out on when we'll get season five.

Wednesday: RENEWED

Wednesday: RENEWED
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premiere Date: 2025 (TBD)
  • Seasons: 1
  • Watch it On: Netflix

Wednesday, an adaptation of The Addams Family, quickly gained popularity for its dark humor, compelling mystery plot, and star Jenna Ortega's standout performance. It broke viewing records for Netflix, becoming one of the platform's most-watched English-language series and sparking viral social media trends (yes, we're referring to the Weird Wednesday dance).

While we originally assumed the second season of Wednesday would be ready to stream by Halloween 2024, production was pushed back due to the Hollywood strikes. No official date has been announced yet, but we can assume Wednesday will dance back onto our screens sometime in 2025!

The Bachelor (RENEWED)

The Bachelor (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: January 2025
  • Seasons: 28
  • Watch it On: ABC, Hulu

The Bachelor has been around since 2002 and shows no signs of stopping. The only problem? All the controversy it's faced since the beginning. It got so bad that Rachel Lindsay, the show's only Black Bachelorette, has threatened to leave Bachelor Nation if ABC doesn't correct their behavior in season 25.

This ended up with Chris Harrison being forced to leave the show following some awful comments. It was apparently not an amicable split, and some people are angry at Rachel for the "drama she caused" calling out his behavior. All this has left The Bachelor floating around without a solid return date. Thankfully, it has been renewed, and we can expect it to come in early 2022.

You: RENEWED

You: RENEWED
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: 2024 (TBD)
  • Seasons: 4
  • Watch it On: Netflix

You, the psychological thriller series based on the novels by Caroline Kepnes, has become one of Netflix's most popular and talked-about shows since its move to the platform in 2018. The show announced the renewal for a reason five just ahead of season four's release in 2023. But there's a catch...

The fifth season will be the show's last and is expected to drop sometime in late 2024—but no release date has been announced. There are also rumors that Netflix will release the final season in two parts. Penn Badgley, Anna Camp, and Griffin Matthews are set to reprise their roles, and fans are also hoping Jenna Ortega will return as Ellie Alves.

Shark Tank (RENEWED)

Shark Tank (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • Seasons: 15
  • New Season Premieres: TBD
  • Watch it On: ABC

Shark Tank will go on as long as people watch it, and the ratings are there. There’s certainly no end of crazy products out there! Okay, okay. Some of the stuff is actually pretty good – we’re not going to lie. We’ve bought some of the stuff that’s hit the market.

Shark Tank was renewed for a 16th season despite viewership being down. Almost as soon as Shark Tank got the green light, execs and showrunners started to search for a cast and potential new products to wow the investors. Hopefully, this season can give a little oomph to the series.

Ginny & Georgia (RENEWED)

Ginny & Georgia (RENEWED)
  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premieres: 2025 (TBD)
  • Seasons: 2
  • Watch it On: Netflix

Dramedies are having a huge moment, and shows like Ginny & Georgia are banking off that popularity. The series premiered on Netflix in 2021 and revolves around Georgia, a single mother of two. They move to Wellsbury to give her kids a better future, but the past has a way of keeping up with Georgia.

The beloved show fell victim to the writer's and actors' strikes in 2023, so we haven't seen Ginny and Georgia's bright, peachy faces in more than a year. But season three is promised to be coming soon; in April 2024, the cast shared photos of their first table read. Although the show wasn't included in Netflix's 2024 lineup, it's set to air sometime in 2025.

  • Seasons:
  • Watch it On: Netflix

Following the success of the first three seasons, the series creators and showrunners, the Duffer Brothers, signed a multi-year film and series overall deal with the streaming giant back in 2019. Unfortunately for fans, the Duffer Brothers later announced in 2022 that the fifth season, filming currently, will be its last.

We don't have a release date for season four (and it’s honestly felt like forever since we’ve seen season three), but with the current virus situation and all the other shortage issues, production has been delayed. Regardless, we hope to see it soon to figure out what's going on! Netflix has stated that season four will be coming out "mid-2022," which likely means around the summer.

  • Status: Renewed
  • New Season Premiere: December 2024
  • Seasons: 1 (Season 2 in development)

Squid Game took the world by storm; it was all anyone could discuss. This South Korean TV show was about people competing for money in children's games—but losing meant losing your life. It was super popular, so we figured Netflix would want to renew it, although we weren't sure the showrunners were interested.

The creator thankfully expressed the desire to do a second season and was given the green light to begin working on a second season! We get to look forward to the series' newest season coming out in December 2024 (as long as the TV Gods are in our favor).

While a fourth season hasn't been officially confirmed, our fingers are crossed that we get to see more intergalactic escapades soon!

While not much is known yet about season 15 of Bob’s Burgers, fans can expect it to be back in 2025. According to Fox execs, the show took over Brooklyn Nine-Nine's spot to give it "a better chance." That turned out to be a pretty big mistake, but whatever. Bob's Burgers is a pretty good show, so no shade.
